I installed this Heat Pump on a Shuttle Bus to keep cool in the summer and, now that it's in, it works great. Blasting cold air for low watts. I even made a mistake and contacted customer service and they sent me an email back within 12 hours and are helping me to full satisfaction.

Great looking product at a fantastic price. The customer service is really good as well. They help out with tricky installs and are very timely in their responses. Highly recommend!

Now that I have run the Out Equip Pro for hours I can report the following. All of its attributes that have been listed are 100% accurate. The unit, at medium fan speed and set for 71F, cools my GMC extended van in a matter of minutes. The noise level is non-existent and the amperage draw is low enough that the stock alternator on the van can run both the OutEquipPro and the vehicles dash air conditioner at the same time without draining the battery.

All in all, I am very pleased with the unit. It exceeded my expectations.

First the shipping ! ordering from Canada (Montreal) I was stressed that the delivery would take weeks before I would receive it, wrong ! 3 days after the order was placed it was delivered ! The package was very well packed, every parts was there. The installation was easier then I planned and the performance of the AC is simply perfect. After using it for a whole year now I can say that I am very pleased with my purchase, I recently order the new Bluetooth board so that I can control it via the OutEquipPro app and it works great ! I can honestly say that this is by far the best purchase I made for my Sprinter RV ! Thanks !

Absolutely love this product! I live on the east coast and my camper van has been so hot this summer…. but, also humid!

I was skeptical if this product could actually make a difference only being 12v- but it actually does!! My van is noticeably less humid, and it really pushes cold air out the vents.

I really recommend this air conditioning unit. The customer service is also super responsive.

We converted a 2021 Ram Promaster cargo van in 2021. The biggest mistake we made was not installing air conditioning at the time of the build. When we read about the OutEquipPro air conditioner, and its really good reviews, we decided it was time to upgrade. After we removed the MaxxAir fan from the rooftop, the air conditioner was pretty easy to install. We started the installation on July 5 and finished the job a few days later. We also added new solar panels to beef up the power. Then we left on a 2-week adventure to California where the temperatures were ranging in the mid-90's to 100's. We have not yet replaced our one 270 AH lithum battery, so we are limited from using the air conditioner 24/7, but we were cool enough when parked to hang out and sleep. We highly recommend this model. Easy installation, good instructions. Very low profile. Overall a great experience. We purchased the black version. The only thing better would be if the interior panel was black also. But overall, it looks great and we are very happy.

Purchased my 110V AC unit in June 2025, and unfortunately had some issues with it powering on. I emailed OutEquipPro support and after some exchanges was sent a replacement part to repair my unit. Unfortunately the part didn’t resolve the issue, and after some additional diagnostics and emails another component was sent out. Again, didn’t resolve the issue. So an entire replacement AC unit was sent out and after hooking it up, it worked! Support was great to work with! Very apologetic about the issues. Great customer support experience.

This product is incredible! I seriously mean it. It's sleek, lightweight, quiet, and efficient. I have a vintage Shasta, and I had tried other rooftop units but they were so heavy and large that it was a bad fit, and most are so loud it's hard to have a conversation when they're running. This one is incredibly quiet. I forget it's on when I'm inside. Was an easy install (especially since lightweight). And most of all it's just very efficient.

I have a unique setup where I use the camper as a pool house/man cave, so I needed some advice on fine tuning my set up, and their customer service was incredibly helpful - even so far as to ship me a specialized part that helped me out.

I don't always rave about companies, but this one is truly the read deal. Highly recommend.

Just installed the roof mounted 12 v 10000 BTU AC unit. It arrived within 5 days of order in great condition. Hooking it up was simple: direct to the battery through an isolating switch. Ran the AC through its programs and it really puts out cold air. Enough to get goose bumps within minutes on a 90 degree day. Install is straight forward on a 14 x 14 cutout. One area of improvement needed is the gasket. The Transit roof as high areas and low water channels. The cutout leaves a channel right on the east and west sides. One provided gasket is too large, but can be modified. Which I did. But when securing the the inner plate to the recommended torque I could still see a 1/8" seam of daylight. I removed the unit and removed the rubber stops on the taller section. I still couldn't compress the unit to torque specs and get a complete fit. I switched to the 14 x 14 gasket which fits, but it doesn't drop completely in the channels for a tight seal. Replacing the gasket was a little frustrating after having laid down a layer of SIka. After getting through this, the unit looks and fits great.

I had been considering an OutEquip roof mounted air conditioner to install on my Kubota M8200 cab tractor. I was hesitant to purchase one at first because they are designed for RV use. I was also hesitant because I was unsure of how effective the unit would perform down here in South Georgia where it gets extremely hot and humid.
I purchased the summit 2 model and with a few modifications, the installation was reasonably straight forward.
I’ve been well pleased with how the OutEquip air conditioner performs here in the summer and I would recommend it for cab tractor use.

I recently installed the Summit 2 in place of my broken Dometic 13,500 btu ac. My trailer is a No Boundaries 10.6 toy hauler/camper. We decided to go with a system we could use off grid and not have to rely solely on campground hookups. The Summit 2 works great for our trailer! It maintains a very comfortable 68 degrees on the lowest setting. My little trailer is only 75 sq ft, or about 500 cubic feet.
Installation was very straightforward. I did contact customer support about the routing of the power cable, but that was because I failed to read all the instructions first. The routing options are detailed in the installation manual.
The unit fits the existing 14.25 square opening.

I did a lot of research for an AC that would work with my Skoolie and decided on the Summit 2. I was nervous about the whole experience and had initially planned to have my mechanic install it. Product shipped quickly and arrived on time in great shape. My mechanic ended up not having time to install so decided to tackle it myself.

Got over my nerves and was able to get it installed in a day an get it working! I did make an error and cut a 14x9 hole and needed to make it slightly larger after the gasket was in place which was a pain but we got that done too.

Unit is in powerful and blowing ice cold. Much better than the window mounted AC unit I had in as a temp fix.

Looking forward to the cross country drive in @MajikBus.co which now breathes fire and rides ice cold!

From ordering to receiving to installing was a simple process. This purchase was to add a 3rd ac to our Motorhome to help with the Texas heat. I had to have the extension kit due to my roof being 4” thick. I did have to cut down the length of the extension duck to work, but was easy to do. The ability to redirect air vents makes it easy to put air in the direction you need it. The low decibels makes it great to use while watching TV. The app works great to control the unit. Service has been great and would highly recommend!! Satisfied customer!!

Love the 12v 11,500btu rooftop Glacier Pro with the heat pump option. I would love to submit a more detailed review, but Trustpilot doesn't allow me to cut and paste in an existing review I have already written up in a Word document and I am not willing to re-type it again. Pictures would also be nice to share too.

The heater/ac combo unit is amazing and cools down my red neck camper in less than 10 minutes! The decibel level is very tolerable! Overall the unit is very light, the super low profile design cuts through the air with minimal to no noticeable noise while traveling.

From the receiving the top mounted unit to installation was flawless. The best part is to have a unit that can work on DC power to properly address our particular need in the workshop on wheels program. The install instructions are clear and easy to understand and the adaptability to different settings is unmatched. A great AC unit to preserved a comfortable temperature even in extreme hot environments of the south.

I purchased the OutEquipPro Summit 2 Air Conditioning unit for my camper van and both the product and the customer service are exceptional.

I replaced my traditional AC unit with the Summit 2 because it runs on DC power and is efficient enough to run for up to 8 hours on battery power. While traveling in the desert, it was perfect for keeping the van cool enough for my dog when stopping to see attractions! The other added benefit is the lower profile which decreases the over all height of the van.

OutEquipPro's customer service was also excellent. There was damage during shipping to the cover for the AC unit and customer service quickly responded and resolved the issue by shipping out a new cover.

We had several questions before we purchased the summit 2 air conditioner for our golf cart. They got back with me promptly and answered our questions.

We purchased the 48 volt. We have installed it on our golf cart with some bracing and it works great! We attached it to our lithium batteries and we can run it on standard air and the golf cart for approximately 7 hours. Makes playing golf a lot more bearable on these hot days
