Excellent Service
Hi all, I am writing about my experience with Pass Functional Skills. I originally spoke with Lucy a fantastic person, she helped and guided me to the whole experience. I was then fortunate of meeting Chisom M (Awesome lady give her a wage increase) in the Support Team. We spoke for a while. She then decided to write an email to the DWP via my journal, to help and assist me for funding. She really went above and beyond to to help advise and guide me. I was really gratefully for her help. She got me free funding from the DWP and is opening more doors via her manager directlyto the DWP especiallyfor disabled people. I hope she will get promoted for her initiative. She made everything easy. I got all the study both online and paper and am trying to organise my exam dates. Being disabled Pass Functional Skills are helping to organise my adaptations for time.
Excellent service x 100%. I will write again to let you know about my experience of the two exams. Thank you again for this amazing organisation. They also sent me a support group on Facebook. A huge thank you and a big kudos to Chisom M & Lucy. in Support Team. I hope you guys will see this and know you have done an amazing job and I hope your bosses see this truthful review.

I had a very positive experience with Pass Functional Skills. From the start, the support felt personal and helpful — every query I had was answered clearly by a real person, which made the whole process much less stressful.
The online course is smooth and easy to use. I liked that I could study whenever I wanted and at my own pace, depending on how much time I had available. The paper support materials were also very useful and helped me prepare more confidently.
The exam process ran smoothly as well. As long as you follow the step-by-step instructions, everything is straightforward and easy to manage. I was also very impressed with how quickly the exam results were provided.
Overall, I would highly recommend PAS Functional Skills to anyone looking for a flexible, supportive, and efficient way to complete their Functional Skills qualification.

I am proud to have achieved my Functional Skills Level 2 Maths qualification. Balancing my studies alongside full-time work, family responsibilities, school runs, and planning my wedding has required dedication, commitment, and good time management. I failed my exam on 29 May 2026, but I stayed focused on my goal, rewrote it on 26 June 2026, and passed my exam. There were times when it was challenging to fit studying into my busy schedule, but I kept working hard. Achieving this qualification has increased my confidence in my maths skills and shown me that with determination and careful planning, I can succeed even when managing multiple responsibilities. This achievement has improved my problem-solving and numerical skills, which I can use both at work and in everyday life. It has also motivated me to continue learning and developing my skills in the future.

Your perseverance and focus are really inspiring, and it’s wonderful that this achievement has boosted your confidence, problem-solving skills, and motivation to continue learning.
A brilliant experience
This was a very good system set up - the resources for learning were plentiful, the system was easy to use and the staff were very helpful if we needed to call and check something. Very suitable and accessible for my 16 year old son. The variety of learning through reading, videos and practice suited his learning needs.
The only hiccup was a system error which interfered with one of the assessments, which caused some anxiety however was quickly dealt with and rebooked.

I started using pass functional skills 6 weeks ago to prepare for my functional skills maths level 2, which I need to apply for a job. I really struggled at school and was not confident whatsoever when I started. However I cannot rate PFS courses enough, it was so easy to follow and great to track progress. I never thought in a million years I could pass the exam in only 6 weeks of study but I did! The only downside I want to mention, if you book your exam through PFS don’t use TQUK. My first exam was booked with them and it was a shambles as their system is awful! It resulted in me not being able to attempt it. Their staff aren’t useful either. PFS booked me in with open awards straight away following this and it went so smoothly.
