Paving Stones Direct UK Ltd Avis 

We ordered silver Kandla grey porcelain tiles 600 x 900 and paid extra for the special delivery. We could not believe the tiles when we saw them totally different to what is advertised on the website. Looks like a totally different tile. I phoned them to return them and was told they didn’t do returns. I contacted customer consumer rights and was advised I can return items within 30 days. I phoned paving stones direct uk ltd back and was told yes I can return them but It would cost me £157 approx plus and I would loose the £157 I had paid already to get them shipped to me then I would get the rest refunded. I spent just under £1200 and they are awful but can not afford to loose over £300 and have nothing to show for it. I wish I could post pictures on here for it to be seen. It’s shocking that they can advertise one product and send you something totally different. I am so angry and upset about this.

Beautiful tiles at a decent price, delivered at a time and date convenient for me.

Sample arrived quickly with catalogue of full range. Good communication and quick delivery of actual order.

I am extremely disappointed with the fulfilment of my order

I asked for a delivery of 31 January, so I would be in when delivered - it arrived on the 27th and I was consequently out.

Despite being wrapped, the sample pieces were complete smashed to pieces, so very difficult to get a view of what they would look like as a whole.

One sample was not a "split" as described , it is a flat ceramic tile. Have I been sent the right sample?

On top of all this, I paid £10.for these samples, so a complete waste of money. I guess I will be looking elsewhere to place an order. As I said, so disappointed

Had an issue with delivery of all items. Vishal called me and got to the bottom of the issue and sent the missing items. Thanks for the quick resolution.

ordered and paid for my order on 15/9/21.Order confirmed for Wednesday 22/9/21.informed that I needed to be at home to receive and sign for the order so I took a day off and stayed at home.
Thursday 23/9/21 still waiting for goods and confirmation of delivery.

Customer service is absolute rubbish I asked for a price repeatedly and told them access isn't an issue due to receiving multiple deliveries and they refused to give me a price spoke to an arrogant waste of space their loss as looking to purchase a few thousand worth of slabs and we have our own Landscaping business, we will never be buying from these people.

had you listened on the phone rather that speaking over me with the arrogant attitude. I said it is a flat tarmac driveway with no over head wires and we have had several deliveries some with larger than 18tonne vehicles to the property delivering already so it wouldn't be an issue. Rather than listening you wanted to argue, your customer service is crap and I hope this review saves just one other person from having to suffer speaking to you and goes somewhere that knows how to talk to customers.

Great price, delivered a day early (which made it 4 days from ordering) and well packaged. Slabs of rainbow sandstone are stunning, nice and thick and I had zero breakage or damage. Based on my experience wouldn't hesitate to recommend - really impressed as all other building materials seem to be late at the moment.

Placed my order on 17th April for delivery on 5th May. All confirmed via e-mail & payment made. Received a phone call on the morning of the 5th May which i expected to be them ringing to confirm delivery was on its way to me. This however was not the case. I was informed that they were no longer able to fulfil my order. I queried why and i was told that they were now out of stock of the slate slabs i had ordered which i had arranged to be laid at the weekend. I was told that they do not allocate stock against orders placed on line. I was also told that all the stock had been taken by building contractors just popping into their yard and demanding the stock they had and that they had no choice to give the stock to them as some of their contractors are spending £50k/month with them. This is a totally unacceptable reason for not fulfilling my order & a shocking way to conduct business & treat internet customers. This has now caused me a major issue and additional expense. AVOID this company if you don't want to be let down at the last minute.

To be honest 1 star is to much for this company.
i purchased some Chocolato tiles 18 months ago, and need some more, so i ordered a pack and a split pack online. I paid for the goods straight away, and they telephoned me to say they wouldnt split their last pack so they could only offer me 1 pack or 2 . they offered me a fair discounted price for the 2 packs, and i went with that, only to find that when the 1st pack arrived they were completely the wrong colour,( dark grey) instead of chocolato brown. I didnt order a sample as i had already had some so i assumed they would be the same colour.I initiated a refund after seeing the 1st pack and they charged me £ 230.00 in the process, for the return and deliveryetc. I hadnt even received the 2nd pack but they still charged me £ 115.00 for delivery and return,for something i have never seen. If i hadnt paid up front they would have never got there money. you need to avoid this company like the plague. they are just money grabbers. There are much better companies out there. somthing should be done about the charging of delivery and return from items purchased online that you havent phisically seen. Pathetic service, and thats being polite.

A load of slabs arrived broken on the pallet, called the company about it, couldn't get through to an operator. Was on hold for a long time. Sent an email instead and they sent replacements out quite promptly.

Their call centre needs a few more people, but I felt that the way they dealt with the issue once I had made contact was excellent.

I ordered paving slabs from this company via Ebay where their details state delivery would be via 48 hour courier and would be despatched within 3 days. Full order total of nearly £500 was charged to my card on 3rd April 2021 and a confirmation email received. Following day I received an email stating goods were despactched for delivery on Thursday 8th April between 9am & 6pm. If, for reasons beyond their control it did not arrive that day, it would be rescheduled for the folowing day Friday 9th April within same time frame. Having waited in all of both days -the goods failed to arrive. I emailed for an update at the end of Friday 9th and again on Monday 12th when no response had been received. By Tuesday 13th I tracked down a phone number and called the company. At 9am I was '4th' in their queuing system and waiting time was 20mins. My call was finally taken by an operator at around 10.20 - so nearly one and a half hours later), and once I explained about my non-delivery, I was immediately put back on hold for a further 10 minutes. Eventually, I was bizarrely told my pallet delivery had been 'lost in transit as the labels had fallen off'! Their member of staff said he would sort something out and would call me back 'within the hour'. I was dubious about this, due to the non-delivery excuse plus non-replies to my emails and lengthy queuing times via the one number I had, and asked if there was a direct number I could re-contact on if necessary - but told there isn't. Nearly 3 hours later, I did receive a return call only to be told that the items I had originally ordered were now sold out and only one alternative was now available, but that could not be delivered the following day and instead, could be shipped as 'priority for delivery on Thursday 15th April'. I accepted this alternative since my project was already now a week behind schedule and they had been in possession of the full value via my card for more than a week at this point. I waited in again all day on Thursday 15th and at 15.45pm I received an email via Ebay advising an updated to delivery details and that delivery should now be on Friday 16th between 9am & 5pm. I called them immediately to complain (again), and queued via their phone system (again) - this time for around 25 minutes despite being told I was only second in the queue. Eventually I spoke with the same member of staff who merely said he was sorry and when I asked for the manager's name and email address so I could complain directly, he first said it was 'Kenneth' but he wasn't in the office. He then said it was Darcie - who had just come in, but couldn't speak with me there and then but she would call me back before they closed at 5pm. I am writing this review at 5 past 5 and I have received no call from this company. Shockingly bad/non-existent customer service, a frustratingly hard to find and slow to get through on telephone contact and to-date, I am £500 out of pocket, have no goods and am facing a fourth day of waiting in again tomorrow without any time slot between 9 and 5 being possible. Awful company - yet to resolve my situation and I would strongly recommend using any other supplier than this one.

Any company with such a low rating should be avoided or used at your peril. It is true the prices are reasonable but should a problem occurr then your on your own. I purchased a set pack size to make a square patio but unfortunately one was destroyed. When I contacted them they point out to an industry norm by where they say up to 10 damage is allowed on not their responsibility. This is obviously an issue with a set size square. So unless you live close I would not suggest you take the risk especially as the customer services of no help or service.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very rude implied I was a liar.
I purchased the Griogio porcelain slabs.
They informed me that the slabs wouldn’t mark and that they were easy to clean.
I kid you not these slabs have marked badly. No cleaners remove the marks.

When I ask for advise they were very rude and said they would call me back. Surprise surprise no call back.
This company is just a bunch of cowboys.

I wished I had never used them.
Please don’t waste your money. Use a company who cares

Brochures are poor, with lots of grainy pics in them.
However my main concern is that pavingstones.co.uk and pavingstonesdirect.co.uk are one and the same company!!!! Very dodgy in that when I searched for a review of pavingstonesdirect I got reviews from “Trusted Shops” review site (which itself gets very bad ratings on Trustpilot, including that the companies that use it are protected from negative reviews...) When you click on the pavingstones.co.uk site within Trustpilot it brings you to pavingstonesdirect.co.uk.

Strange and suspicious why a company would try to pretend to be a different company on Trustpilot. I’d avoid them.
