A seamless, efficient, stress free experience to move my fund, with another provider, into an annuity. Was set up within 6 weeks.
Initially had a meeting with Ross Taylor in June, who was knowledgeable, transparent,friendly and non pushy and provided clear advice about the products, particularly annuities as this was my reason for contacting the company seeing they had 5 star reviews.
Following this meeting the efficient Lauren Burfield, in the pension team, managed the fund transfer. Her communication with me via emails was second to none. She maintained communication at least once a week to update me on where things were up to. I really can't fault the service. Definitely would recommend.

I made my first phone call on 13th May after seeing an advert in the Scottish Daily Mail about pensions.
The lady I spoke to initially on the phone was called Charlotte and she was excellent. A call was arranged with my new advisor Ross and he is excellent as well and sent me all the information I required after asking a few questions. I was transferring my pension from another provider whom I wasn't able to contact but Ross was very knowledgeable about the way to proceed on this. This I have done and he administrator Liv has been right onto it and i have my new pension in place now and very happy. No more worries as I feel I'm now dealing with a Company who looks after you.

Excellent communication, nothing was too much trouble, I met face to face rather than over e mails and telephone and it was fine. I dealt with James Allot and Liv Carey mainly and they were really helpful. All in all a positive experience as it should be, because you are the customer paying for their services.

I wanted to buy a simple annuity using some cash form a SIPP and other people I know used Pense to do just this.

I arranged a meeting/review with one of their advisors called Kirk, this meeting/review went very well and I mulled over my options.

A few days later I contacted Kirk and confirmed a clear plan to buy a simple annuity, we covered the full process and it started on that day, Lauren then got involved and all paperworks/forms quickly moved between my SIPP provider, Pense and the company providing the annuity.

There is a good amount of paperwork/forms to be processed and this went very smooth and quickly, eforms helped it go quickly in my case and any issues I had with eforms I just contacted Lauren for quick help.

I was kept informed at all times and the information and progress was always advised to me.

After many years topping up a SIPP I was a bit reluctant actually placing the value in a product, but I found Pense and the team did a great job and thanks again to Kirk and Lauren.

I'm in no way financially savvy, but the Pense financial advisor took me through all the stages so I could understand the different sorts of pensions available to me and which would suit me best.
It was a very easy process from start to finish, and I was confident that all the staff I spoke to had my best interests in mind, and I was completely stress-free and worry-free.
I would especially like to thank Liv Carey for all her help and answering any questions I needed to know in a professional manner.

Understanding my pension options became much easier once I had discussed with Ross who was incredibly helpful, and put everything into jargon I could understand, as were all the team I spoke with, Lauren kept me updated by email once week, which is the right amount of contact and came back to me on the same or next day when I had queries. Three pension pots and unsure which way to go, so after several on-line searches I decided to use Pense.
From my first contact with James and all the way through the process his telephone manner was excellent as was all the staff who picked up the phone.
James talked me through the whole process in detail making sure I understood everything, never rushing or pressurising me to make a decision, giving me the time to think things over and make any decision in my time.
Based on my personal information James recommended an annuity and secured one above my expectations.
I was passed onto Liv for all the admin work and just like James, Liv's telephone manner was excellent.
Liv was relentless chasing my three pension companies to get the monies transferred and kept me fully updated all the way from start to finish.

Gave a good estimate of annuity amount for my pension but absolutely spam me with telephone calls wanting to do a formal quote. I only wanted an estimate for retirement planning

This is the 1st time I have used Pense. I made an initial enquiry via their portal after reading many positive reviews.
I had an initial telephone appointment with Kirk who was very professional and very knowledgeable regarding the Fixed Term Annuities I wanted, far more knowledgeable than my previous advisor. Kirk made various suggestions and over the course of a week provided different quotes for the plans I wanted. There was no pressure from Kirk. The fee structure was also very competitive.
When I had decided on the plans I was assigned a dedicated Pensions Administrator who undertook all the paperwork to transfer my Pensions. The process only took a few weeks, and I now have my new policies. Liv & Heidi have been excellent in getting the new policies set up far quicker than I had thought would be the case.
I will definitely use Pense again and will be recommending them to family and friends as well as anyone who reads this review.

Not sure which way to go with my pension pot and decided to contact a number of advisors.
I ended up with Pense, although not sure if they were the right company but any doubts I had were put to rest after an indepth discussion with James Allott whose advice was invaluable without pushing me into anything I wasn't sure or happy about.
I already had some idea of the direction I wanted to go and James was able to explain everything in detail which allowed me the proceed in the direction I needed.
Once my decision was made, I was handed over to the the most efficient and confident administrator Liv Carey who kept me very well informed of the progress of my application with a regular update throughout the whole process to completion.
Overall, I was very happy with the decision to go with Pense and would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone confused about their pensions and to seek out the best possible returns for their pension pots.

Pense were very professional. The financial adviser talked me through my options then sent the paper out for me. Once the paper work was sent back liv kept me upto date with the process by email.
