Petpals UK Limited Avis 

I've been with petpals darlington and yarm since they started about 15 tears ago over that time they have walked my dogs, home boarded and house sat for me. The staff are great, my dogs love them and I always have peace of mind.

Jo was fantastic looking after our pet rat Pixel! She gave him so much attention and he was in a lovely space in her home. We really appreciated the fact that Jo updated us daily about Pixel’s activities etc and she sent us lots of lovely photos too. We will be using Jo again soon and we would definitely recommend her to anyone else who wants to leave their beloved pet in safe hands.

Sarah and Shirley are fantastic! The Cattery is light and airy. Has all mod cons. Drop off and pick up is quick and easy. Sarah is very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
My cats are very at home there, and return to us as they left.

Left my 3 cats with Jo again. She sends me photos and they are so relaxed with her even my my little shy girl will let Jo stroke her. I think they miss her when I come home. You can go away and relax. The service she provides is excellent. Would thoroughly recommend.

Leaving our 18month Sprocker for the first time for 3 nights was a daunting prospect for us, but from the initial assessment visit with Sandra, through to the meet and greet and subsequent stay with Clare, we were delighted with the care and professionalism of the Petpals home boarding service. Our puppy (Purdey) had a wonderful stay, and we were kept informed and updated via messages and photographs. On our return, it was obvious that Purdey had not only coped with any separation anxiety, but had absolutely relished her lovely home-from-home. Sandra was able to accommodate Purdeys (raw-food) diet. The facilities were excellent with walks and secure fields to run in with a couple of boarding companions. I recommend Petpals Darlington and will be returning next time we require any home boarding in future.

We have used Petpals (Darlington) now for over 12 years for 2 dogs. We had previously had a bad experience at a kennels with our old dog and had only used family and friends since then. We were a bit wary about using a boarding company, and certainly didn’t need to be! We were overwhelmed at how thorough Petpals were at getting to know ourselves and our puppy. She had a fabulous time on her first Petpals staycation. The daily feedback we got was very reassuring as it was obvious to see how chilled and happy she was in her holiday home.
Our dog later went on to develop epilepsy and skin allergies and we felt absolute confidence in the expertise of her Petpals carers for her daily medication and if she were to become ill whilst staying with them.
Recently we got a new puppy who is a very different dog and can get overexcited easily, but Petpals have handled her every need with their usual professionalism.
We often now use the Petpals service for a walk for our dog if we are away for more than a few hours. We know we can rely on them with 100% confidence in their fantastic service.

Petpals Darlington and Yarm are the only people that we would trust to look after our dog. We have used them for a few years now. We had a dog with a few health issues including diabetes on insulin and Sallyann took everything in her stride. Last year our older dog died less than 2 weeks before we went on holiday and our younger dog was missing him so badly that David slept downstairs with him.Well above the call of duty. The older dog had been reactive with other dogs but nowhere near as bad with Sallyann and David due to their experience I guess. If Sallyann and David couldn't look after Wilson we wouldn't go on holiday. We can go on holiday and relax knowing Wilson is in safe hands. We also get regular videos and photos of him enjoying his time with them and their dog.

I have been using Petpals in Darlington now for the past 6 months, I have a shy and nervous Cocker Spaniel (Charlie) who gets a little anxious when he is not with me ( and if I'm honest I do when away from him too).
I work away from home 2 weeks a month, so need Charlie to be cared for as if he was one of the family. Petpals Darlington understand the relationship I have with my dog, and are very good at managing the 'neediness' of the dog & owner!

The whole process from initial consultation to the meet and greet, to Charlie's first stay overnight put me at complete ease. Charlie really enjoys his stays, I know this as I get regular updates, with photos.

As I am self employed, I depend on Petpals alot, nothing is too much trouble. I try to give plenty of notice, which isn't always possible, a couple of times now I have had to make last minute changes, which the Petpals team have been more than happy to assist with 'Charlie Care'.

I cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism and great customer service that both Charlie & I receive from Petpals. I'm very happy to give my whole hearted recommendation to Petpals Darlington.

I put my trust in Petpals to take my dog out twice a day, two days a week while I am working and they made it so easy. A very friendly chat on the phone, pop in to meet my dog and then they are ready to start taking your dog out without needing anything from you.

Not only do they suit your routine, they also offer other slots should you need any further support and cancellations for free - not something I have experienced with other places. I would highly recommend them all day every day.

Terrible service from PetPals which I have passed on as a complaint. Dog boarding registration details not passed on (or ignored) by sitter, lack of communication and poor customer service. Sitter was supposed to be experienced but was clearly not able to cope with a nervous dog. They said they had a range of boarders on the books but sadly after one unsuccessful trial they simply cancelled my holiday booking saying they couldn’t help, even though it was 7 months away! They take your money even though they don’t have any borders available so it’s very misleading. I feel like an idiot for falling for it. Please do not use this company or you might be left with no cover for your holiday, a lot of wasted time and registration money down the drain.

PetPals Wokingham are brilliant! They are reliable, friendly and have great knowledge and experience.
They have provided excellent care of our dog, cats and home and would highly recommend Peter and his team.

Petpals Bournemouth and Poole.
We were concerned about leaving our very old cat Ossie while we were away. He is nearly nineteen, blind, needs daily medication and occasional has seizures. But Tony of Petpals Bournemouth and Poole has been so lovely and caring. He visited twice daily, gave him his tablet and lots of cuddles and sent lots of WhatsApp photos after each visit. Ossie was absolutely fine while we were away and very settled when we arrived home. I would very highly recommend Petpals of Bournemouth and Poole to care for your pet in your own home. Tony also put the bins out and collected the post from the post box as an added bonus! Five stars +++++

We are very pleased with the personal service from our cat sitter (Gillian). She provides reassuring care and attention. We receive updates each visit with photos of our cat who gets on very well with her. We love reading the daily report when we get home. Also the cat litter area is always clean and post collected and put in a cupboard as requested and curtains opened/closed.

We use the service in our area and are very happy, thanks to Peter and his services. It has been a great help having Petpals service available in our area.

Jo looked after our two indoor cats for 5 days whilst we went away. She came to visit the boys in advance of us going away to get to know them and understand their routine. They instantly warmed to her, even our very anxious cat who usually doesn't let many people stroke him. When we were away, we received daily updates about how they were getting on which included photos. I felt very relaxed and reassured knowing they were in good hands. Jo also put our bins out and left the cat food and tray area spotless. One of the cats was sick on our carpet but Jo spotted it and cleaned it up for us (this is not unusual as our cat likes to eat the toilet roll). When we returned home, there was a lovely care plan written for each day waiting for us which I thought was a nice touch and very much appreciated. I highly recommend Jo and her company Petpals and we will continue to have her look after our boys whenever needed.

Rolo is a house cat and very attached to me! I know he struggles when I go away but I feel so reassured about his well-being when I know Jo is visiting. He gets lots of love and cuddles and I get peace of mind! Thank you Jo 😊

Petpals recently looked after my 2 x guinea pigs. Their service was polite, friendly and caring. I got daily updates on my girls and I felt completely assured that they were well looked after. Highly recommended!

Gillian has looked after our cat (who has an on going heart condition) several times now. Medications were given in our pets food and all his needs and wants catered for, giving us a huge peace of mind whilst away.
Gillian also sent messages with photos/short video of our boy so we could see and hear he was a happy cared for cat. We can definitely recommend their services for Salisbury area.

My 13yr old cat is an indoor rescue cat who I have had for 3yrs. He can take time to warm to people but from the start I felt confident in going away for short trips and having Jo visit. Rolo adores Jo and heads straight to her lap for cuddles when she visits - for him to feel confident about doing this says a lot about Jo and her understanding of people’s pets. I don’t like leaving him but knowing Jo is looking after him means I can relax and not worry. It is lovely to get pictures and updates sent through to me too. Me and Rolo would 100% recommend Jo 😻
