Returning to the Pinter experience
I was one of the original subscribers, back in 2021 with my Pinter 1 (which i still have). However fell off the Pinter wagon in 2023. Then saw the deal for Pinter 3 and went to the website. Im please to say im now back on the Pinter Journey. The ordering experience was great,delivery quick, all the support needed is on YouTube and the app. All my previous details were saved so that also really helped. Reinstated my subscription and can wait to taste my first batch in 4 years. Im glad to be back,keep up the good work.

Flexible ordering very useful
Very pleased overall. able to stop and start subscription when I have a backlog of brews, it tends to be more of a winter hobby for me, so being able to stop and start orders suits me fine. RECOMMENDED

Depending on the plan selected, customers have the option to pause or cancel their subscription once they have completed the subcription requirement, should they wish, offering even more flexibility over time.

not worth it
it is not easy instructions like you say put the instructions on the beer packages per the beer you ordered.............. not your damn internet crap, i am waiting on the first beer to finally get done whenever that is and i am sure i will be dumping it out, and be wasting $40.00, cause your instructions on the app is just more B S. "the instructions should be on every beer package" a person buys to know for sure what that beers instructions are to make not looking through your list of do this do that junk not happy one bit. Like i wanted to spend more time on a phone looking up this junk. now i know why you only give 24 hrs. to cancel this junk. Let alone you have to find someplace to put that big ass keg in a refrigerator. I wish it was already over and i have not even got the first beer finished if i wanted to wait a month for a damn beer that i will have to dump. Would not recommend this to anyone ....................................

Frustrating Experience and Poor Support
I recently made my first purchase with Pinter and, unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing from the outset.
Shortly after ordering, I encountered multiple technical issues. I was unable to add the optional hardware protection during checkout, and then couldn’t proceed with registering my device via the app due to ongoing errors. Not exactly the smooth start you’d hope for as a new customer.
More concerning, my order was cancelled without any clear resolution. I was later told this may have been linked to switching promotions, but this was never properly explained at the time. Despite raising these issues, there has been no meaningful follow-up or proactive support to resolve them.
The suggested “solution” of trying multiple addresses to fix the issue felt particularly unhelpful and, frankly, quite ridiculous. It did not address the root problem and only added further confusion to an already frustrating situation.
Overall, this has been a poor first impression. Technical issues can happen, but the lack of clear communication and effective support has been the biggest letdown. I hope Pinter improves both its platform reliability and customer service going forward.

Super Easy -- Super Fun -- Taste Great -- Just do it!
I’ve brewed quite a few beers, cider, meads over the past years.
I didn’t need to buy a Pinter; I already have a half-barrel fermenter, several carboys, kegs, and garage full of equipment … BUT, when I saw the Pinter, I simply could not refuse; I had to give it a try. It’s so damn cute.
For those that wonder if my comments are worthy of reading … allow me to point out that I have two Certificates in Brew Science; one from UCSD and one from SDSU. This is my review of the Pinter after making a few batches.
When making Ciders they often come out too sweet or too sour, over fermented and uncarbonated, but the Pinter Ciders came out perfect. They were fresh, super tasty and very well balanced and were naturally carbonated. In fact, a friend commented that these ciders compared to a quality bottle of bubbly (Champaign). I agree!
For anybody who has absolutely no experience making any sort of fermented beverage and is contemplating getting a Pinter … just do it. It’s super easy and fun and the Pinter is so cute. You just need to find room in the fridge for a few days when you’re “conditioning”.
Traditional beer brewing requires: Mashing, Filtering, Boiling, Rapid Cooling, Fermenting, and Conditioning. Many brewers love this process because it’s the challenge of getting the beer just right; screw up any process along the way, and you end up with … “God knows what!”
Think of the witch brewing a stew … awaiting Hanzel and Gretel; that’s your traditional brewer. It’s fun but so much work.
Unlike traditional brewing … with the Pinter, you’re done in 15 minutes, and there is no excess use of water, and no clean up required. Bada Bing, Bada Boom.
Understanding that because Pinter provides a Syrup (extract) that bypasses the traditional process of Mashing, Filtering, Boiling and Rapid Cooling, the beer might taste slightly different then what you might expect, but it doesn’t make the beer any less good. Another thing traditionally brewer’s take into consideration is the pH and mineral content of the water. Water Chemistry is very important when cooking the Wort but also important for fermentation – which is what is happening in the Pinter. For us making Pinter beers, that’s the one thing we can control, aside from the temperature.
With that said, I do suggest to the Pinter team that they recommend a water profile for each of their beers if the intention is to closely match a specific beer style.
I've also reached out -- several times -- to Pinter Customer support and they have always responded.
