RE UPHOLSTERY OF SOFA

The waiting period was a significant time but the
Overall completion of the sofa was carried out to
a high standard and we are extremely pleased with
the outcome and would use the services again.

Fantastic customer service

Barbara, who came to our house to talk through upholstery options was so thorough and knowledgeable about Plumb’s products. She took time to take us through the process, select fabrics and colours with us. She has a great design background and was very personable.
Our new covers arrived well before the allotted date, which we were pleased about. The fit was absolutely perfect and has completely updated and renewed our chairs and sofa. The quality of fabric is excellent and robust, we needed that with our boisterous dog. We paid extra for a stain resistant covering.
Barbara returned with the new covers and spent time showing me how to put them on my furniture.
The whole process was so professional and customer service was excellent. The covers were a bit more expensive than I had budgeted for, but you get what you pay for.

The agent who came to the house to…

The agent who came to the house to measure our furniture and assist us with choosing the material was very nice and helpful, the only disappointment was when she came back to fit the covers for us one didn't fit properly and all the backs of the others had the wrong zips on so all had to go back and be redone

Service provided by Plumbs was very disappointing

Service provided by Plumbs was very disappointing. Spoiling the whole experience.
Issues with the Plumbs salesman/fitter were extremely difficult (there were personal problems, not communicated to the company by this person). I needed to continually chase for information & final resolution of order. There was a total lack of communication with the fitter & company. With the exception of 1 customer service lady who tried to help. Even though I requested information Plumbs seems unable to communicate me & resolve the problems
After several months I now have a new curtain track & set of curtains, the whole experience has been very worrying & disappointing. Would not order from this company again or recommend it to others.

Initial contact with the company was…

Initial contact with the company was easy but the best thing about our experience was Katie. She contacted us, came when she said she would and was really helpful with material and colour choices. From then on, measurement, payment and fitting happened on time and according to her advice.

I contacted Plumbs to plan new curtains…

I contacted Plumbs to plan new curtains for dining room and hall. Your consultant arrived as arranged. Adam Thompson was very helpful. There was good choice of fabric and design. He was happy to return several weeks later to confirm all and process the order.
Fitting was arranged within the predicted timeframe. Clive fitted the curtains, he is obviously very experienced. He was happy to explain the process, answer queries and respond to input from me. The fitting and finished product looks great.

As a repeat customer I had high expectations. Once again, I was blown away by the quality of workmanship, attention to detail and customer service. Plumbs is a top-class firm which deserves its fine reputation. I will tell my friends.

I had an excellent experience with…

I had an excellent experience with plumbs from the initial visit through until the covers were fitted. Everything was explained to me and the the fitters was really polite and focussed on his job and I would have no hesitation recommending the company to anyone else.

Lack Of Common Courtesy.

Last Fri I waited in all afternoon for the Plumbs Loose Covers salesperson to return to measure up & finalise the order, placed the previous Fri afternoon.
She had given me the time of 12 noon, but failed to show. Initially I thought she was "running late".
At approx 3.00pm I tele her, she didn't pickup.
At 3.15pm I sent a text querying the time, no answer (till the following Weds, saying she had been in London for 4 days, I appreciate Tracy will get more commission there, but like the saying goes "Manners make the man" ).
At 4.00pm I tele Head Office explaining my problem they said, they would email her.
Plumbs advertise "good customer service", not in my case, I got a Lack of Common Courtesy, for this reason I will not continue my order/business with Plumbs Loose Covers.
