Very bad cheapest cloths and workers very bad experience

I recently was in India. I went to Pothys, T.Nagar, Chennai!
One MRs. Ruthjasmine helped me a lot in selecting clothes in many sizes! She was very kind and hard working! Excellent service!

All the other staff were also very helpful and hard working. They made things easier by helping a lot!

I had the worst experience ordering online. I had ordered 2 sarees on Sep 20th 2025 and it wasn’t shipped until 04 November 2025 and I did not receive it until 18 November, so it took almost two months to receive the package. In the meantime I had reached out to them multiple times via email and WhatsApp and received no response for more than a month, then when I did receive the response, they LIED that they refunded. When I asked them for proof, they decided to send the shipment, despite of me asking them to cancel the order as it was too late and I would no longer need it. Of course they did not listen. When they did send the package, they didn’t do proper documentation, so it was held at customs. I asked if I could return, but they refused to accept that as well. I posted a comment on instagram and they deleted my comment. They don’t take responsibility or accountability for their actions. So, please stay away from this store and don’t order anything.

Extremely bad service. I have bought a saree for around 13000 rupees Oct 5th . I have tried to call them directly , written a email , contacted over WhatsApp, tried every possible way to reach them they do not reply . And in instagram they replied they will look into the order and just vanished. I have been begging them either to update the status on the order and ensure will it be delivered if not atleast cancel the order and give the money back but there has been no response at all. I feel like I am getting robbed.

Very bad service in online purchasing.. they took d payment immediately n after 4 days they sent saree us out of stock.. if they r not having saree in d stock y they took d payment.. n its festive(deepavali) time they r doing refund to purchase d saree for festival.. this is very bad part on Porhys.. really dint expected this from such big n famous saree chain..compared to this nalli sarees in all d ways superb..no more pothys purchase..at least refund my money fast

I did online order in Pothys website, 4days over still not receive any mail from them about shipping, we ordered for Diwali, i dont have any hope which will get deliver before that. If the Pothys owner not able to manage online order why they accept orders via online. Please dont irder anything via online, buycott pothys online shopping, no one responsing, contact numbers not picked only.. I did a mistake by order via online Pothys

Coustomer support is good i give 0 star for trust and quality because I bought a saree for 79000 when bought home blouse piece was so small which we cant use it so everyone please don't buy sarees here

I placed an online order which said it will deliver on Aug29th. But I see it is not yet shipped. Tried contacting through phone WhatsApp email but no response at all. Worst customer service.

I take two dress.but iam not wear that dress .bcz the only reason cloth type and tailoring section.also per 2500 rate sudithar.but not used also .fully wrongly stitching in tailors own measurement.very worst experience pothys .very very worst pothys my money 4500 waste .possible means give my money.i give ur dress .very worst service.nagercoil branch very worst my money gone both dress r waste cloth wise and stitching type .two things r main reason give the solution for management.saw that dresses I got fully disappoint .now only iam searching review side 😞

Purchased few dresses (saree, shirt, pants) at porgy’s t nagar (silk branch). I went to 6th floor to alter the pant s the height was little lengthy in branded jeans. A guy started asking questions with lot of irritations. He asked the height to alter. I told him that I don’t know the number, can you take the measurements? This shins have been done at the readymade section. Without getting the details you good simply come here to alter. This was the sentence he used and it irritated. I told him that I will pay outside and get altered.

After that I came down to 4th floor as I wish to return it. They don’t want to take the return. They want to give the credit for future purchases. I told him that I purchased 10 monies before and the guy at alteration section was insulting and now you are adding more. Some they denied to refund the money, I just wrote the feedback and left the shop.

One of the worst behavior. I will not go anytime in future. They don’t know the value of customers.

I ordered salwar from Pothys and they delivered salwar without a shawl and pants. When I reachout, pothys customer support is very rude and they said they did send the complete set while they didnt do it and they scammed it. I believe this has been happening in the online shop and people who work at online shop take these products and claim it as they send it to customers. I thought Pothys was a big brand in india and wont do these type of scams but unfortunately they are also same. On top of that, they dont want to admit their mistake and very rude. Please shop somewhere else if you dont want to deal with the scammers.

I ordered an expensive silk pattu saree from pothys, but it doesn’t feel silk. I will not buy from this website anymore. Disappointed

Customer Beware!

We tried the tailoring services at Pothy's Boutique, T. Nagar, and were disappointed with the results. Not only did they fail to include hooks on my blouses, but they also charged me for options that were never provided. We gave them over a week to complete the stitching, although they initially promised a 2-day turnaround.

The stitched clothes were delivered just a few days before we were about to leave the city. When I raised the issue with the person in charge, she insisted everything had been checked before delivery. After sharing pictures of the incomplete blouses, she promised to get back to us within a day.

It’s now been over a month, and we still haven't received any response.
