Cameron was the best and most…
Cameron was the best and most professional. We got the doors fixed and upgraded in just a little time. I will call Precision - Cameron every time I need annual maintenance or for any reason. They are, without a doubt, a trusted professional. Every Homebuilder or Future Owner should demand their Garage be put in by these guys. I know because found hinges without screws and metal wheels/rollers that just was not right. Leave the rest and go with Precision.
Rip Off
Called for a simple tune up on garage door, they were offering a $25 coupon, When D showed up I asked him about the tune up cost...
he quoted from his phone $400+ change out rollers,
balance the door, etc. I said absolutely not. He then
requoted me $197.87 (included the $25 discount). So I thought I understood him to say, he would check the rollers, inspect the springs, spray the moving components with silicone and make sure the door was balanced; thinking that this would involve a ladder, and some physical labor. Nope, he just stood there and turned in circles sprayed the silicone, closed the garage door, opened it again and said the springs were balanced. It took minutes. I asked for a receipt, he said the would email it. Didn't do that either. After I wrote the check, I was disgusted that a company would charge such an unreasonably inflated price for a simple task Called their office spoke with K. related my discontent with their pricing, she
forwarded my message to two managers, J, H, and the owner R. Someone would call me back, I waited four days crickets!
They may be on high legal ground but morally they are on quicksand!!!
I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income, I want
$100 back, that is fair!
Practice what you preach, or stop preaching!
Precision door services provides Expert care efficiently
My wife left the house at about 7:00 AM this morning, and the garage door would not open. We have used precision door services in the past and always had good results, so I called them and they were able to send Dalton to the house in less than an hour from the time I called. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave me time estimates for every step of the process, and he was always exactly on time. He was able to take care of our problem and also attend to other issues he found that were sure to cause a future problem.
I was extremely happy that our garage door issues were expertly diagnosed and fixed within three hours.
Precision door services has earned my five star review, as has Dalton. We will definitely call them first anytime we have garage door issues.

They installed a new garage door opener…
They installed a new garage door opener at a cost of$2,600 2 month ago and it failed after a week and a half. Called and they sent techs out to look at it and they reported that the logic board in the opener failed and needed replaced. I have called 4 times since then and each time told someone would get back to me. No one has ever got back to me, no call, no text, no email, nothing. I am seriously concerned if they have gone out of business. I would not recommend them at this time.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I’ve had two warranty issues already, and now I’m dealing with a third — all within a short period of time. My garage has been torn apart for weeks, and now I’m told it’ll be weeks longer before they even get the parts they need. Completely ridiculous.
Their workmanship is flat-out sloppy. The window frames literally fell off in under 24 hours. When they replaced the top panel, they damaged the second panel, and instead of owning their mistake, they’re avoiding me.
This company does not stand behind their work, does not take accountability, and clearly does not care about the customer experience. I regret ever hiring them. If you value your time, money, or sanity, go anywhere else.
Good Service/Outrageous Labor Charge
The company was recommended by a neighbor when I arrived home after a month away and my 20 year old Liftmaster garage door opener didn’t work.
The tech was very professional and asked about what features I wanted, which was just basic. He installed a basic Genie unit which costs about $400 retail so the charge for labor was $1800 for an hour and a half work.Because we’re too old to be lifting the door by hand, we paid through the nose.
300% Price Gouging!
My technician was fine. He was quick, professional, and efficient. Unfortunately, the pricing is the BIG issue.
I wish I had researched the cost of the materials before agreeing to the work. I completely understand that companies need to mark up materials, but the markup I was charged was excessive.
Here are some examples from my invoice compared with prices I found from local hardware stores:
Garage door hinges: I was charged $20 each and needed six. The same/similar hinges are available locally for under $5 each. That is roughly a 300% markup.
16' reinforcement struts: I was charged $140 each for two. I found comparable pricing online for approximately $80 each.
End bearing plates: I was charged $90 each for two. I found pricing of approximately $65 for two.
T-Rail Bottom Seal, 3.5" (16 ft): I was charged $143.49 total, or $8.99 each. I found comparable pricing for approximately $5 each, which would have been about $80 for 16.
I understand that businesses have overhead and need to make a profit, and I expect some markup on materials. But there is a significant difference between a reasonable markup and charging several times the readily available retail price.
The technician himself was not the problem. My concern is the material pricing, and I feel customers should be made aware of these costs before the work is performed.
Unfortunately, after seeing the pricing and doing my own research afterward, I would not use this company again. I also intend to share my experience with friends and family so they can research pricing before agreeing to similar work.
My advice to anyone considering using this company: get an itemized estimate and compare the material prices with local retailers before authorizing the work.
I never received my door and they…
I never received my door and they promised me a refund and I still have not received my refund. This place is a scam and we will be sharing on all of our social media channels about this experience first hand.
Terrible Customer Service
I am a contractor and I scheduled an appointment for a garage door measurement. I called on a Friday and scheduled for the following Tuesday, and was given a window of 8 A.M. to 12 P.M.
I made it clear to the person scheduling that I needed to be on site to remove the plywood covering the opening so the tech could measure.
The day before my appointment, I got a text confirming the appointment, and advising that the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. I had to drive for over an hour to get to my client's house so I could be there to meet the technician.
At 11:30, there was still no call to confirm arrival time, so I called the office to get an ETA. The woman on the phone told me she would send a message to the field tech and have him call me directly for an update. 22 minutes later, I got a call from the tech advising that he was 45 minutes out - unacceptable.
The territory I service in my business spans from south of Fresno up to Yuba City in the north and east as far as Auburn - and I start my day in the East Bay - yet somehow I am able to narrow my appointment windows to within an hour, and most times, half an hour.
I understand things happen, or you run into a situation that you didn't expect, but the time to let your client know is BEFORE you are late, not after you've missed your window.
I don't even have an estimate from them and my experience has already been terrible.
the Technician Manuel Ruiz was on time…
the Technician Manuel Ruiz was on time and ready to help. Tech. Ruiz listened to my problem and went to work.he also gave me some tips to keep my garrage door working in top shape. thank you
shady, aggressive tactics
It started off well enough, the guy who came out was friendly and knowledgeable. He started pushing the upgraded double steel door which was supposedly the same price as the single sided steel because it was on sale. When my husband insisted that the price quoted ($2700 door only+install, no opener or add-ons) was too high, he got quite angry and insisted that we wouldn't be able to get a better price anywhere. After we insisted, he went out to his car to "talk to his boss" and then stormed back inside to grab his computer, saying "yeah, we're out, I'm not gonna take that kind of cut" and was ranting about "why did you even call me out if you thought you were getting a better price from someone else". Even though he had been so kind and personable up until that point, when he sensed the deal might not go through, he got borderline aggressive and made me very uncomfortable. Shady, aggressive, tactics overall. I'm glad we passed because we got a double steel door for $700 less from another contractor. I wouldn't give them my business if they were the last garage door installer in the city.
Complete and total ripoff
Complete and total ripoff. Stay away! Almost $1900 to replace one spring and some rollers!! A 90 minute job and probably $350 in parts. They inflate the material costs beyond ridiculous.
My credit card company is on it and I'm waiting for my paperwork from the North Carolina Attorney General's office.
Now I'm just trying to protect others.
By the way, once you pay, good luck getting a call back from Precision.
If I have known it would cost over $300…
If I have known it would cost over $300 to adjust a garage door I'd left it alone. Which did not take a full hour to do! This is really a common practice with all these companies. Charge you a ridiculous price for absolutely little work. This is UNFAIR pricing !!!!
THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL.

Bad experience
Had appointment between 2-6. No call, no show, even though I called them twice for an ETA. Very disappointing.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I called n made an appointment for a new garage door n opener . I explained the issues with my garage n was told not to worry, they can work around the issues. The sales rep came at 10am on Thursday n did an inspection. He told me he would get back to me that afternoon or Friday morning with the estimate. When I didn't hear from him, I called mid-morning Friday n left him a vm to call me. After I got no response from him, I called the office n spoke to someone in management n was told someone would call me before the end of the day. No response. Called Saturday n spoke to call center n left a message explaining I wanted status of my estimate. Monday morning I called n told them I didn't want to use them for the job since their customer service n communication skills were so bad. Sales rep did call me later n said they decided they didn't want the job. I told him I had already informed them I had changed my mind about using their company based on their poor customer service n communication skills. I asked him how hard is it to pick up a phone n call a customer. Instead he ghosted me for 4days. If they can't communicate with a customer before the job, I can only imagine how hard it is afterwards when a problem arises. I told they all need a refresher course I customer service n communication skills.
My daughter and son in-law used…
My daughter and son in-law used precision to repair their double size door and charged over $700. After the "repairs" the door was loose and not functioning well. I looked at it and it needed new springs and the bolts were coming detached. I added and replaced the bolts and put new springs on the door for less than $100. I honestly don't know what they did for $700+ but the door was not safe to use The safety closure was mounted too high s well. Poor and careless workmanship. Do not recommend.
scam artist
The garage door tech was at my home for less than one hour replaced two 20 dollar cables and charged 628 dollars. What a scam.
Don't believe the Lifetime warranty
The initial service and installation (and promises) were of course, top notch; however, 3 years down the line, we've had many issues with the door and the "lifetime" service repair warranty doesn't seem to cover ANYTHING! I've paid about $1k in calls, repairs etc. since the installation.
Poor workmanship, pressured to spend thousands
Technician diagnosed wiring short for garage door after painter's disturbed the wiring. He told me I need a complete rewire for $350 (2 yr old opener). I asked for repair and he quoted $160; I agreed to. Wiring was different color, left hanging from ceiling, looks bad. I complained and he said I got the nice wiring and staples for the $350 job. He spent a long time telling me I needed $4000+ in spring, rollers, track and repair to keep door from falling and that it was a danger. High pressure sales push with scare tactics that I finally asked him to stop. Had door checked by another firm. OK. Poor workmanship, pressure to spent 4K that is obviously company training. Will never use them again.
The Service you hope to get
The Service techs Eric and Benny from the Orange County office, arrived the same day within an hour of my service request. They were neat and professional, and completed the needed repairs within thirty minutes of their arrival.
