Excellent Service and Great Products!
I recently purchased two Apple MacBooks for my daughters from ProTech IT, and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. The staff were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful in guiding me to the right models for their needs.
They offered competitive pricing, and the service felt very personal — not something you always get when buying tech. The MacBooks were ready to go and my daughters couldn’t be happier.
They also gave me cash for my old laptops to use towards the new laptops!
Highly recommend ProTech IT for anyone looking for quality products and exceptional customer care. Will definitely be back!

ProTech IT Solutions sold me a dud…
ProTech IT Solutions sold me a dud Apple Watch Ultra that stopped turning on within 3 months for $759. They explicitly stated the item came with a warranty of 6 months however now state water damage has caused the issue. This is despite me not using the Apple Watch Ultra in the water, and regardless it's an Apple Watch Ultra which is supposed to be a 40m capable diving watch. I suspect I was sold a very old watch with worn out seals and my daily exercise caused the failure.
Now they are hiding behind their 'supplier' and stating there's nothing they can do, forcing me to contact Consumer Affairs Victoria when I simply wanted a refund within the advertised warranty period.

We understand your frustration, particularly given the warranty period and the nature of the issue reported. After the device was inspected, the assessment we received indicated liquid or moisture-related damage, which complicated the warranty outcome. We appreciate that you disagree with this assessment and understand your concerns regarding the watch’s advertised water-resistance capabilities.
Please note that water resistance in electronic devices can diminish over time due to factors such as prior usage, wear to seals, accidental impact, or previous servicing history. While the device was sold with a warranty, warranty assessments are still subject to inspection findings and supplier evaluation processes.
We also want to clarify that we were not attempting to avoid responsibility by referring the matter to our supplier. As a reseller, certain warranty claims require supplier review and authorisation before outcomes can be finalised.
That said, we acknowledge your dissatisfaction with the process and appreciate the opportunity to review feedback like this to improve our communication and warranty handling procedures moving forward.

Water Damage Repairs
I had my Acer laptop to be fix as I got water damage to it and it won’t turn on. I got told when dropping it off to protech It solution I got told that I would get an update by the morning I hadn’t heard anything so I gave them a call and the said that they would give an update the next morning then didn’t hear back intel 3:30pm on the Friday. I got my laptop back on the Monday but there is still water damage to the screen and the keyboard some of the keys are not working properly which I’m not happy about since it cost me $290.

After speaking with my team, The Acer Aspire 3 A315 15.6" laptop was brought in for repair on 21/08/2024 with an issue that it “Doesn’t Power On, due to liquid spill on the laptop”. Our techs diagnosed the issue on the 23/08/2024 and we found the fault to be with the “Mainboard components of the laptop” which is a hardware issue. We had to order the correct Power IC parts for your laptop which as mentioned can take up to 3 days. The lapptop was ready for pickup on 25/08/24.
I can understand your frustration about the miscommunication regarding your Laptop repair however however we suggested a PARTIAL REFUND as we take full responsibility if there’s any issues with any device that is repaired or serviced at our store. Our devices come with a 6 MONTH WARRANTY for your peace of mind. It’s always best to reach out to our Team as we would be more than happy to answer any queries and explain any inconvenience that you have had to face.
ProTech team takes all feedback’s very seriously. As a result of your comments and suggestions, we will review our processes internally to see what we can do to eliminate any possibility of similar occurrences in the future.

Honest and reliable. The model iPad I requested was available but I was told they were in very poor condition.
I was offered an alternative for the same price which I have received and I am very happy with what was sent.
