RAC Shop Avis 

We were away from home and stranded on a Sunday morning due to a flat battery. I had a massive struggle trying to book a breakdown report as the phone number isn’t a human and says to report online. I couldn’t do this as the website wouldn’t accept my group scheme reference
Despite this I decided just to get a patrol to fit a new battery, expensive but really helpful. I bought the battery about 8am, they said they would be there between 10 and 1pm
The patrol attended about 0910hrs, he was a lovely guy and we were on the road with a lot more confidence that we would get home before 10am
Call out service 4 out of 10.
RAC shop service 8 out of 10 would have given 10 except for the price. They had us over a barrel

Please don’t buy from rac shop they won’t change and also they won’t have u refund

RAC engineer arrived on time and replaced battery.

I have found this service excellent and to have someone come to the house to do the job was so much better than trying to find a garage that wouldn’t overcharge!
Had a few jobs done with RAC mechanics and overall so far been very satisfied.

Really pleased good products at a competitive price with fast delivery

It’s easy to order from the RAC shop. However, finding and choosing the right product takes time and therefore it’s best to research and check out the products elsewhere. I also find the reviews helpful but best notes as you are looking.
My only issue has been waiting for delivery, which took three weeks, but booking fitting was quick and easy and the technician only took 45 minutes and he was early. Unfortunately he didn’t explain how to set it up which I think he should have done.

My wife bought a dashcam, which seemed a good deal. After Three days we did not have a dispatch confirmation. Following a phone call she had to wait a further week for the order to turn up.
The call centre was courteous enough, but you shouldn't have to call.
Lousy delivery service from a company with the same postal address as Asda tyres. How the RAC allow them to use it's name is beyond me. Something I hadn't considered before reading it other negative reviews.

I ordered a car battery from the RAC shop on the 6th January it arrived 13 days later! We live in an isolated spot so need the car and thought the RAC would be prompt in their delivery considering their reputation. I made six customer service contacts to get the battery to me. So disappointed!!! I was even promised the delivery of £7.99 would be returned, still waiting for that too. The battery actually came from Euro Car Parts I will purchase direct from them in future!Ss I hope if I ever use the road side assistance that they turn up promptly!

Ordered the RAC European breakdown bag for Christmas gift. It arrived promptly, good quality items and well packaged. I also had to contact them because one of the items had a slight tear - looked as though it was a factory error & very easy to miss. RAC shop were fantastic & were on it immediately, They contacted the supplier immediately & put a replacement into the post, They apologised profusely on the phone & sent a follow up email. Everything was professional & so speedy for both deliveries. I'd definitely buy from them again,

Booked a new battery and installation online. On the day of the appointment, I received regular updates confirming details and expected arrival time. RAC mechanic was polite, helpful and carried out the job quickly and tidily.

Christmas morning; car all packed. Leaped in the car, and.... nothing. Rude words followed, plus a visit to the RAC shop site to see how much a new battery is. Hang on, there's a delivery and fitting slot this afternoon! Surely not... But yes; the fitter arrived within the slot, took no time at all to fit and check the battery, and Christmas evening was saved. Trumpets :)

Was -2 at nite, morning any problems,for North be not useful , but uk 🇬🇧 for price good!
