Really Disappointing Experience
I had a really disappointing experience with Reclaim Nation for a number of reasons.
1) Multiple changes to the estimated delivery date.
- I placed an order for a table, bench, chairs and a side board in February 2026. The item with the longest lead time was the Mode Sideboard, with an estimated delivery of 8-10 weeks. This would have meant a delivery by the end of April. However, the estimated delivery date changed multiple times after ordering. The items were eventually delivered at the end of June, 18 weeks after the order was placed.
- While the delivery dates are an estimate, it took nearly double the amount of time from the initial estimate for the items to be delivered.
2) Unsatisfactory service from the delivery company.
- The delivery was originally schedule for mid-June.
- When the couriers arrived, one came up to the flat (located on the second floor) to say they would not be able to deliver today for health and safety reasons because there are more than two flights of stairs and they did not have a stair climber with them. I was not asked which floor the furniture needed to be delivered to at any point in the process, so this could have been prevented.
- I then received a call from the delivery firm’s office to say that they did not have time to complete the delivery that day, so needed to reschedule for next week. As such, I’m not clear on what the actual reason for the failed delivery attempt was. The couriers did not use a stair climber on the day the items were eventually delivered.
- Delivery is undertaken by a third party courier, however they are a chosen supplier of Reclaim Nation.
3) Incorrect items delivered.
- Two dining tables were delivered instead of a table and a bench. One of the tables had another customer’s name on.
- Moreover, not only did I receive two tables, but they were both the wrong size.
4) Items were damaged on delivery.
- The box containing the Mode Sideboard was damaged on delivery. When I started to unbox the items, it became clear that the damage extended to the side of the side of the cabinet as well.
- There was also some damage to the bottom of the sideboard at the front. Either this has not been sanded properly during production and therefore was a defective item, or it had been scuffed during distribution / delivery.
5) Quality not as expected.
- I ordered the items after quite a bit of research because they seemed to be good quality. However, there were a few aspects which made me think the quality was not as good when I received them.
- The paint on the underside of the Mode Sideboard was quite patchy. While it would not be seen day to day, it made the product feel less high end.
- On the pictures on the website, the bottom of the legs of the Mode dining tables appear to have a brass fitting. However, when the item arrived, this was some sort of plastic.
I read many reviews before ordering and these suggested that lead times were long but the products were good quality, which is why I did not mind waiting. However, from my experience, the quality was not as good as expected and delivery was completely shambolic.
In fairness, Reclaim Nation responded to my complaint quickly and offered to replace the missing and damaged items and provide a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. However, the quality and service was so disappointing after 18 weeks of waiting that I decided to go elsewhere. The items were collected a week later and the refund was received a few days after that.
Overall, it is such a shame as the products appear beautifully designed. However, I would recommend avoiding this company, at lease until they resolve the issues with lead times and delivery as a minimum.

We fully understand your frustration. Your order took far longer than the original estimated lead time, and the delivery experience was not good enough. The failed delivery attempt, lack of clear information about access requirements, incorrect items being delivered and damage to the sideboard all fall well below the standard we expect.
We also appreciate your comments around the finish and quality of the items received. While our furniture is made using reclaimed materials, the concerns you raised are not simply about natural variation, and we understand why you were disappointed after waiting so long.
As you mentioned, once your complaint was raised, we did offer to replace the missing and damaged items and provide a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill. However, we completely respect your decision to cancel the order, have the items collected and receive a full refund.
We’re sorry that we let you down on this occasion. Your feedback has been taken seriously, particularly around lead times, delivery communication and courier processes, as these are areas we know must improve.

Once ordered online waited and waited…
Once ordered online waited and waited for delivery was only told 6weeks in they were waiting on 1 chair!.. the chairs actually arrived in a box of 2 .. very poor delivery literally forced a delivery note under my nose before I could check the delivery delivery guys said sorry it’s not our issue just sign as we need to go! Felt very uneasy! Furniture itself is perfect just a shame let down by length of delivery and poor customer service

Great customer service…
Great customer service when I needed help in ordering my dining table, bench and chairs. I absolutely love them too - beautifully made and it didn’t take a huge amount of time to build them. Only lost one star because of comms after purchase - it took around 5 days before I was contacted about delivery. Delivery was good and the delivery guys were very helpful.

Had a lead time of 1-2 weeks. But that was a month ago.
Had a lead time of 1-2 weeks.. keep getting strung along with “order is due soon” etc.. been a month and still no sign of actually getting it, despite these ‘reassuring’ emails. Never ordering again. Can’t speak for the quality of the product.. don’t have it

Waited ages and then disappointed to find made in Vietnam and not the UK which advertising leads you towards believe, no wonder it took so long and very expensive for what it is, not sure I believe it’s reclaimed wood

The bench was delivered on a day we…
The bench was delivered on a day we told them we were on holiday and just left outside. We had to get a neighbour to collect it and hold it until we got back home. It was damaged.
They arranged a collection and replacement, again on a time we said we would not be in the house and now we have to wait another 2 weeks for them to deliver again.
We bought a table from them previously which we love and the furniture they sell is beautiful but the delivery is terrible

Never turned up, constant delays. Had to get a refund.
Ordered a sideboard showing 7-14 days delivery. Over 2 months on they were giving me yet longer delivery timescales after moving the dates twice. All the while it still showed 7-14 days. Had to cancel and it was a bonus as I found a much better one elsewhere and bought a coffee table and lamp table in the same design.
