Religion Clothing Avis 

Ordered a Religion dress from Next Directory. It looked nothing like the photos. It was much shorter (around 13cms out from the description), the belt was different (plain not two tone) and had loose threads. I even thought the sleeves did not look as nicely made as the photos. This was not a cheap dress, it was £125 so I expect good quality at that price. The differences led me to believe that a well made sample is used for advertising but a lower quality garment is what is sold. A tactic you might expect from cheap, international clothing companies but not when you’re paying £125. Frustratingly, you can only review items on Next by invitation. I will steer clear of this label now.

Religion are a rip off, expensive clothing for not great quality and then they rip you off for postage and for returning most companies these day charge to return but they set up and Evri/Yodel but Religion dont even give you a label and then make you go to the post office. not worth it as the quality is not worth the price

Do not recommend purchasing anything from RELIGION online. If you need to return an item, you are not only paying for the return but for some reason they additionally deduct money from the amount they must refund. E.g. I paid £41.69 for an item and returned it as it was small. Paid postage of £5.99 for the return but for some reason Religion is refunding me £35.70 (£5.99 less). I was charged for the postage when ordering the item originally as well, so they have gotten an extra £5.99 from me for nothing.
Very disappointing.
I will not purchase from them again.
The quality of the products does not reflect their high prices at all, as well. So, don't bother.

impossible to make a return, there is no portal whatever link to click that says "make a return". On top, returns are not free.

I ordered a new coat which arrived promptly, it fitted great and the material was really nice too. However, upon further inspection, I noticed a stitching issue on the collar so reached out to their support via Facebook messenger, connected with Alex who was great in sorting out the issue as there was only 1 left in my size.
Issues happen but the mark of a good company is how well they resolve the issues. Thank you Alex

Religion designs are fabulous. I’m in my middle age and not ready for twin set n pearls (probably never will be!), so Religion clothing is a breath of fresh air - the clothing is age-universal. HOWEVER, the fabric quality is often quite poor, the sewing is appalling (I’ve had to mend/re-stitch hems, topstitching, etc), and for a not so cheap price-tag, AND all clothing tends to be dry-clean only. I only have a few pieces, but would buy so many more if the manufacture quality improved. So come on Religion, up your game!

Very quick delivery, excellent quality t-shirt at a reasonable price point. Fits perfectly too.

I am surprised the company has been given such poor reviews on trust pilot i have in excess of 50 items of their clothing at any time and friends and family queue for my cast offs i ve been using the Brick Lane shop for at least a decade when i go back to London.and have ordered on line many many times i have never had a problem with sizing quality delivery or style ..i love their stuff

Do not use this company. It cost me £18 to try on one dress. I didn't get all my money back AND I had to pay to return the item.
Just dont bother. Customer Services are just dismissive. Don't waste your money.

I can see there have been some negative reviews for this company. However my experience was the opposite. I think the customer service and quality of the clothing is excellent. I ordered 6 items and kept 4. I returned two items.I made an error though and accidentally sent the parcel to the wrong address. I told them and they kindly went and collected it from the Tesco shop I had incorrectly sent it to. Yes, you have to pay for returns but I think that’s fair. Postage isn’t cheap. I have quite a few Religion items of clothing I have bought in our local shop but sadly it has closed down. This was my first online order and I will definitely be buying from them again online. The quality of the clothing is excellent value for money and washes well and feels great.Thank you Bethany for all your help sorting out my return and quickly refunding me. I was apprehensive about placing my first order after reading reviews but have to say my experience was excellent. Items arrived in good time, were of great quality, sized correctly and competitively priced after discount applied. I agree the return options are outdated especially for an online only store but I would order from Religion clothing again.

I had very high expectations from this brand as I've bought some great gear from them in the past but I'll never buy from them again. The Lunar Maxi dress looks like it's made out of cheap curtain lining. It fits horrendously. It cost me $40 in postage now I have to pay $43 to send it back. The dress cost me $135 + postage, so totally no point. Can't even on-sell it. because it's so cheap and nasty. I expected better from you Religion, very poor form.

The clothing are made out of cheap and nasty materials. Don't bother. They don't offer free delivery and they don't offer free return either. Then they rip you off with restocking fees.
In fact the return process is a complete hassle. You have to actually make a request that you want to return your order and then you have to wait until they authorise it if they ever do. It's bullsh.t.
I'm so fed up with them already. This was my first order and the last one for sure.

I bought 3 items and 1 of the items did not fit so I paid the postage and sent it back as they don’t offer free returns postage, they then only refunded me £32.73 on the item when it was £38.50. I have written over 2 weeks ago to ask why they have not refunded me in full and they never got back to me. Dodgy company stay away.

I bought I really cute skirt on their website, just guessing the size because they don't have physical stores to go and try things on, paying for the item and shipping, kind of odd in 2022. But I really liked the skirt so I decided to get on with it (pretty expensive fee as well!). The skirt was unfortunately too small for me so I asked for a replacement, after paying for the return of the unsuitable item myself. It turns out that the don't have the size up and they offer me a refund. But SURPRISE, the don't refund the initial shipping cost.
Now, this is very unserious from a company that sells you clothes at this prices, for a quality that, for what I saw, was mediocre.
Plus, the fact that I can't try things on because they chose not to have a physical store to save money shouldn't weight on my wallet when it comes to shipping at all.
I told the customer service and they just got rid of me saying thanks for the feedback.
Never buying from them again.

I have ordered from this company three times. 2 out of 3 times I have paid in full and only had a partial order shipped and never completely fulfilled. I love the items I received but have received no response from customer service after multiple attempts to find out the status of the missing items. Their only customer service contact is via an email that never responds. It is unfortunate given how lovely some of the items are.

Appalled to find out returns are NOT free - for a well-known and successful brand? What a backward organisation. I'll never order from them again.
