An amazing British manufacture

We bought a mattress from Forrest Furnishings who we have dealt with for many years. They have always sold us quality products in the past. This mattress has been dreadful! After less than 3 months it had dipped so badly that I developed backache. The problem seems to be due to the pillow topper which is not supportive and sags excessively. We have rotated the mattress weekly, as recommended, so now have matching dips top and bottom. Forrest arranged an inspection by Castellan who found "no manufacturing fault ". We do not accept that there is nothing wrong. So many others have also reported a problem with Relyon mattresses with 66 percent on Trustpilot giving a one star review. The score of 3.2 is one of the lowest for any bed manufacturer. Forrest have now arranged another technical inspection and results are awaited.

I was recommended this brand by a friend. Can’t say I had heard of them before but I’m really pleased with the mattress and base. Very comfortable and a big improvement on my last mattress. I am finally sleeping well. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for a new mattress. Having looked them up they are a long standing traditional manufacturer. Clearly they know how to make a good product.

I’ve waited 2 months to do a fair review, I ordered an Ashwick mattress and the quality is unmatched. Delivery was quick, my sleep has been ten fold from what it used to be on a previous generic mattress. All I can say is BUY a Relyon mattress if you’re considering it.

Disgustingly poor quality products and sensible buyers should run a mile rather than considering buying from Relyon.

After just two years of ownership, a side of the bed has collapsed significantly. We contacted the selling store, who in turn contacted Relyon, who want to send out an 'independent' third party to inspect the mattress. I have seen the type of pointless merry-go round this creates from this review section, so I have told them not to bother.

I am still furious at the waste of money...and I need to sleep, so I have had to replace the mattress from another manufacturer at my own cost.

I will have to make do with sharing my story as widely as I can and warning people off the shoddy company called Relyon, who avoid honouring their guarantees.

We had looked at a number of beds produced by a range of manufacturers and decided on Relyon. We were not disappointed. Very comfortable and great value for money.

I have sold Relyon beds for 15 years now and could not fault the quality and standards from their products highly recommended,

I have now had a bed and mattress from Relyon for just over a month and I must say I’m very impressed. I’m not usually one for leaving reviews but the quality and comfort is better than any other bed or mattress I have had before. I would highly recommend Relyon to anyone!!

I recently purchased a Dunlopillo mattress and base from my local retailer. Could not be more pleased with it! The mattress is so comfortable and the base is excellent quality. All service was brilliant and quick turn around. Definitely recommend anyone to purchase a Relyon bed for your next one!

From my initial enquiry through to purchase, the customer service was excellent. All questions I asked about their range of headboards, regarding materials used, construction and sizes, were answered clearly and concisely and good advice was given enabling me to make an informed choice.

Reason for 4 stars - the colour I initially had in mind was not available in that style, but there was a good alternative, which I am very happy with.

I bought three Relyon beds in August, the Balmoral for our room and two further kings for our spare rooms - since then we have had lots of guests to stay who have ALL commented on how comfortable the beds are and how well they slept! Our main bed is the best we have ever had and we were also very grateful for the amazing service we experienced with the delivery to our new home (without any damage to the new walls in the process!) I would recommend this to all my friends

Purchased a Relyon Pashmina 2400 as I wanted a non turn supportive mattress with natural fillings. Could not be happier, great support and comfortable mattress.

I purchased an Ashwick mattress, I’ve had it now for 3 months and it is very good quality and extremely comfortable. My parents have always had Relyon beds and advised me to purchase. So glad I took their recommendation.

Worst mattress in the world land of beds in Wigan they are the worst company to deal with they send an independent person to view the mattress but they are from their own company What can I do i have a mattress that I can not sleep on it was 3weeks old and had a dip in the middle of the mattress I am now sleeping on a 8 year old mattress which is better than the Relyon mattress so upset!!

I can only echo the many negative reviews on here . Truly awful defective mattress . High cambers at sides and deep recess in middle. Impossible to sleep on . BUYER BEWARE !!

Having Sold Relyon Mattresses for Many Years
The Quality of The mattress has stayed the same or improved , unlike other makes which have got worse , Relyon mattresses are heavy as there are more springs and more filling inside , The Reviews on This Platform are from customers who have been wrongly advised in store to purchase one sided Pillow top mattresses , when they should have purchased turnable mattresses which are ultimatley much better and keep their shape for a lot longer .

Please, please, please do not waste your money with this company.

I paid £800 for a mattress that felt very comfortable in a reseller's shop. What was delivered felt completely different and I felt as though I was rolling into the centre.

When a tuft ripped a hole in the mattress after around one month (one the side of the bed I did not even sleep on), I reported this to the reseller and mentioned my feeling that the mattress didn't feel right. I lay on the shop model again and this confirmed my suspicions that the mattress was not level and nowhere near as comfortable as advertised.

When they repaired the ripped tuft, they completed a full inspection of the mattress and then denied me access to the report. I had to complete a Subject Access Request to get this, which shows a very prominent dip in the mattress, which they refuse to remedy. The report says ‘not liable for issue identified’, which implies there is an issue but they don’t want to pay for it.

I'm pleased to share the test results of my expensive and disappointing mattress in my Google review, in the hope that you don't waste your money.

Relyon took my money and delivered something that feels nothing like what was advertised, then refused to share the results of their inspection that show a mattress that clearly and unevenly dips in several areas.

Total disappointment and terrible customer service. The Google reviews are highly recommended to show that this is not just my experience.

Spend your money with someone more reputable and deserving.

I bought a Relyon mattress only to find it sagged and dipped in the middle after 3 weeks use,,,,can’t get any sensible answer from Relyon and what a waste of good money on this product,,,,don’t buy Relyon
