Relyon Beds Ltd Avis 

I bought the Reylon Eltham 1400 from a reputable independent retailer costing around £700 in September 2021. As I differ with neck and shoulder problems I was prepare to invest in a good mattress that would last well. I was advised that medium would be fine based on my size and weight.

I purchased the mattress and with that a full length plywood to cover my slated base.
I rotated it as advised in all direction and turned it over. However still it started to sag in the middle within 3 months of purchased. I thought 1400 springs was quite sufficient but did not expect it to sag within this period of time. Unlike others I did not contact Reylon as they may say I needed a firmer mattress. I feel sure that they would say I bought the wrong one. That I can accept as getting the right tension is difficult. It is a very difficult decision to make as once paid for,you are stuck with it. However I cannot recommend that brand based on my experience .I should have read these reviews 1st as very interesting that SAGGING/ DIPPING is experienced by many customers.

Reylons eight year guarantee is not worth tuppence. Avoid their mattresses like the plague.

Bought a Relyon bed from a local outlet 12months ago for £1,300. The mattress (Refresh Gel Fusion) has sunk where my wife and I sleep leaving a noticeable ‘hump’ in the middle, the mattress material has also ‘bobbled’ even though we use a mattress protector. Contacted our local outlet who referred the matter to Relyon, eventually they sent a chap to inspect it, measure the hump & photograph it etc etc. Six week later we got a reply from the outlet who had received a reply from Relyon to say their inspection finds there is no manufacturers fault but that the ‘Dipping’ has occurred only where we lay, the ‘Hump’ in the middle is caused because we are not laying on it. The conclusion seems to be we should kick one of us out of bed in order that the other might lay on the ‘Hump’, this would then remedy the problem.
Never heard so much bull in my life. We’ve had plenty of beds over the years but never had this problem with a mattress. Obviously you are not meant to Lie-On a Relyon mattress and most certainly you cannot Relyon one.
Equally the outlet (Pendle Village Mill) don’t seem to give a fig either, but they were quick to take our money 🤦🏻

I wish I'd read the other reviews on here before purchasing our Relyon mattress for over £800. Never in our 40 years of marriage have we had such a poor quality mattress. We have turned our mattress weekly as requested but it is sagging on both sides and we're not heavy people. It looks as though it's 10 years old already and is less than 5 months. Interesting that a reputable company send out third party 'technicians' to review the wear. No contact with them directly but through the shop we purchased from. It's an easy get out for them. No paper work to prove that they have a check list that has to meet their criteria, it was just a call from supplier to say no, Relyon say that nothing is wrong. I would not recommend this company, as I conclude their mattresses are substandard.

Do not buy a relyon pen arrow pillow top super king mattress I paid £1,265 for it and after only 4 weeks it’s sagging at the sides and got ridges in it we contact relyon and they say nothing wrong with it Really it looks like a ploughed field what a complete waste of money I can’t stress enough the poor quality of it we are going to the credit card company as relyon are not interested I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed as I thought I was buying a good product how wrong was I we both have bad backs in the morning so it’s a usless product please please DO NOT BUY A RELYON MATTRESS

Please read this article. We have paid for an expensive Relyon bed and mattress. Our Mattress is a Grande. Please do not buy From Relyon. They offer a 8 year warranty, its not worth the paper its written on. We have a sagging mattress on my wife side of the bed and they have said my wife sits on the side of the bed. Yes she does, to get in and out of the bed. So can I suggest that Relyon now supply some sort of crane so that we can be lifted in and out of the bed in the morning. The engineer came around and said my wife puts her shoes on, while sitting on the bed. Funny thing we don’t wear our shoes around the house because we have good quality carpets. Also less than a foot away is a chair? Best beds in the world!! No way and the warranty is rubbish too. Don’t buy a bed from Relyon.

We bought a Relyon Braemar Divan in January 2021 and have been very happy with it. It was very comfortable from the start. I suffered from terrible hip pain from our previous bed and this has completely disappeared since sleeping on the Relyon. It is still just as comfortable a year later.

We bought two new Relyon Superior Comfort Deep Latex Pillows from what appeared to be a reputable seller.

When we unwrapped them we noticed a chemical smell. We thought that this would disappear after a day or two, but it hasn’t at all, rendering the pillows unusable.

Raised the issue with the supplier and Relyon. The supplier didn't want to help at all. After one week, Relyon have still not responded to my complaint email.

May 2021 purchased Relyon luxury pashmina mattress. By September it was saggy in the middle. Tried calling Relyon ,not interested as all compalints have to be done via the store that sold the item. Complaint raised to the store they sent a link asking to submit photographs before they can take up the complaint. The complaint is not going anywhere both supplier and manufacturer are ignoring the issues . The mattress looks like its been purchased 10 yrs ago. My old relyon mattress was better which I had for over 10 yrs than its current replacement. The quality of these mattress are substandard its not what one can accept from a reputable company .My advice for anyone wanting to purchase Relyon mattress is please dont.
Do not purchase Relyon Mattress its warrenty is not worth the paper its written on.

Bought an Ortrho Extreme 1550 Mattress by Relyon from one of their authorised retailers in early 2018, have had nothing but trouble due to excessive settlement of three inches on all four sides of the mattress.
Complained to the retailer after 6 months and fobbed off, complained again but unfortunately Covid kicked in, finally got the retailer to contact Relyon (Relyon will not make or have any contact with the actual customer) in July/August this year.
Had 2 visits from Relyon approved engineers, (upholstery company ??) 1st, young but very knowledgeable and completely understood the issues with the mattress, the 2nd, much older and completely useless, left his glasses in the van and the only piece of technical equipment was a piece of string.
The 8 year guarantee is not worth the paper it's written on, the mattress is not fit for purpose but Relyon deem it to be fine as they have done in many other cases when obviously it's not. Best Mattresses in the world NOT.

I bought a Relyon Heyford Ortho 1500 mattress.
It is firm but only took 1 night to get used to it.
Very pleased with the mattress and it has an 8 year guarantee.

Terrible experience with this company mattress arrived with a lump in it they asked £30 for a inspection so I said OK,they now saying I can't have inspection blaming the bed base slats being to far apart all this when the mattress came lumpy they are a disgrace warranty useless they do their best to get away with it!

I bought a mattress off Amazon from this company. I left a poor review due to the appalling service this company provided. Funnily enough the review was deleted and apparently they have 4.9 star reviews!!! After I placed my order and the problems started I checked the reviews and questions and they had a lot of bad reviews, and questions on there poor service. How have they now been removed to try and rip off other people!

Bought an extremely expensive luxury alpaca bed a year and a half ago. One week in and it started to sag in the middle. I am no longer sleeping in it as it’s now got the shape of a Rocky Mountain ( I’m sure a Rocky mountain would be more comfortable) and in the last month or so the button studs are sticking into my legs, etc, but at least it no longer smells like the monkey house at the zoo. I’m only ten stone and it’s only me so who knows what shape it would be in now if being slept in by two people twice my weight?!

I wasn’t able to report the fault until recently due to the pandemic but have been told now that if a fault isn’t found I get to pay £52 costs. I’ve noticed from others’ reviews the amount varies from person to person with no reason why. I have also noticed from others opinions it seems relyon seem to be unable to identify any faults. I feel this complaint is not going to go my way.

From my point of view, I KNOW this bed has caused me so much hip / back pain that I’ve been unable to walk on three occasions since I’ve had it, as when I sleep in my old worn out 8 year old much cheaper bed, miraculously, I wake up pain free - every time.

Relyon.... STEAR CLEAR ..
Pillow topped mattress that dip and your feet end up in the air.

The bed has dipped 10cm on each side.

Steer clear of Relyon.

Any problem and to send someone out £75.00 to look and see if there is a fault, even though you can send photos.
