My mother in law’s boiler stopped working and it was deemed a new one was needed.

Rented a flat with rent my home, turned up on the day as agreed and was told to come back an hour later. Came back an hour later and it took them a further 30 minutes to meet with me. After I had signed the contract they then told me the apartment building was flooded in the basement. But would be cleared up within a few days. The apartment building stunk for weeks. Could they have phoned me up before and told me there would be a delay. Yes? Could they have informed me about the flooding before I signed the contract? Or came to meet with them? Absolutely. Did anyone come with me to show me how anything works in the flat? Of course not, that would be customer service.

Got the keys and had to ask myself for the keypad code as the person handling my case didn't even know there was one to get into the building.

Moved in and the entire flat was dirty, mould, pen marks on walls, etc. Told my point of contact, Raj, that I had to pay to clean it myself - was so dirty I couldn't even spend my move in day there. Could they have ensured it was clean before I moved in or informed me it would need to be cleaned? The inspection was done 1 hour before I got my keys so if they wanted their money on time, no I would just have to put a complaint. I tried to remove the mould as best I could, no offer for help or reimbursement. Asked Raj if I could paint the walls to get rid of the marks, no follow up. No communication whatsoever or follow up to my complaint. But on the date of paying my rent receive texts and emails urging me to pay.

Hallways covered in dirt, cobs webs, mould, marks - 0 maintenance of the property.

Was informed by a tenant that they had spotted people sleeping on the stairs of the building and they had reported it, but again were given a lack of response, help, advice or service. The hallway had trash lying on the ground for two months, no maintenance whatsoever of the building. The key pad has not been changed once since I moved in 8 months ago - a total security issue despite being reported.

I walked to put my bins out and found needles on the ground and people sleeping on the stairs. Horrified I contacted the letting agency begging them to let me out of my contract as I feared for mine and the residents safety. Was just told I was in a contract till June and the landlord was aware of the issue. If the landlord was aware why did he not inform residents of this problem or warn them? Why has nothing changed with the key pad or better security.

Asked the team to contact me to make a complaint as per their complaint policy and no reply has been given after over 48 hours. Do not go with this company as soon as they have your signature and money they treat you with no care, service and let you live in fear and unclean conditions in your own home that you pay to rent.

Absolutely appalling agency. Not once once of professionalism at all. I've had multiple terrible encounters with the agents at rent my home Leivester.1) First of all due to the fact that I live in a shared house I once had a lady enter my home. I asked her politely to show me some I'd or identify that she was from rent my home as there's a stranger in our home and we have a baby. The lady denied and insisted that we call the police after still not showing any proof from the agency. We left it as we were absolutely shocked that the lady had the cheek to be rude to us after entering our home. Next minute the white lady is histerically crying and claiming that my siberian husky was being aggressive towards her to the police when the dog was not even in the property at the time. The police came with tasters and a choke hold for my dog FOR NO REASON Not only did this delay my whole working day because this clearly mentally ill agent entered our home without showing any proof of why she was in the home or any proof of work. So not only did she intrude my home but then try and get my innocent dog because she can't prove she's from rent my home???? Leading us to again think that a random person is in our home. 2) multiple maintance men coming again to the house again claiming there "maintenance men" and claiming that one of my neighbours is a pedophile and is in jail for 2 years even after I repeatedly mentioned that the gentleman is not at all. After all we realised that the men used that excuse to gain entry into the home. All so that they cn put a letter on his door. They said that an innocent man is a pedophile to enter the home. DISGUSTING NO PROOF NO EVIDENCE NO CRIME NUMBERS JUST NONSENSE!!!!!!!
