I thought I was booking through Hilton

I thought I was booking through Hilton, when I realized I booked a hotel in the wrong area, I called & asked to cancel my reservation. This was all within a couple of hours after I booked the hotel. They said my booking was nonrefundable & there was nothing they could do. They told me the only way the get a refunded "credit" (not money back) was to get the hotel front desk to write up a statement stating that they will honor the cancellation. I called the front desk of the hotel who said they could not do that due to this company's tendency to not honor their end of the deal. The person at the front desk said I was not the first who has dealt with this.

I cancelled the room within 15 minutes…

I cancelled the room within 15 minutes as I realised I had entered the wrong date.
I received a booking cancelled email, with a 'we have refunded the value of your booking to your account.... ' and I thought the issue was resolved
On checking bank statements at the end of the month, there was no credit from Reservation Stays only a debit. On reading the email carefully, the refund was a 'credit to you account in Super.com Credits' - not to my credit card account! What a scam! If I hadn't looked for the credit I wouldn't even know I had been scammed!!

ReservationStays Scam Strikes Again

Like MANY other complaints, I thought I was booking directly with the Westin in Fort Lauderdale Beach only to discover it ReservationStays.com. I realized that I booked with the wrong date and I went to modify it. I saw I couldn't so I went to cancel or 'submit' for a refund. The refund application was denied as booking a wrong date is a not a sufficient reason. It's a complete scam and I've conducted a chargeback with my card company. Go DIRECTLY to hotel sites, don't trust Google.

Reservation stays is a deceptive…

Reservation stays is a deceptive booking website. Their site comes up on a Google search for a particular hotel posing as THE hotel's reservation website. I was scammed by them. I WILL NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE AGAIN! When I contacted customer service they were less than helpful and even defensive and rude regarding my complaint.

Absolutely horrible

Absolutely horrible! I was ripped by this company! Unbeknownst to me, I was not talking with a hotel employee but this company! I was charged an absolutely ridiculous cost! I tried to receive a refund with no success! Shame on the hotels that have this third party!

Tried to book a two night stay at a N

Booked a two night stay at a N. Myrtle Beach beachside hotel, of course paid, only to find out that it was for one night only! Contacted customer service at reservationstays.com and my fast talking CCare guy tried to sell me the second night for 2x the price of the first. THEN he offered to get me an upgrade to the tune of $400 more when all I wanted was the second night added. He wouldn’t let that go until I said I would have to cancel the whole visit and get my money back. Guess what?! They refunded all by $60 and I still don’t know why. I canceled within the 24 hour cancellation window. NEVER, did I say NEVER proceed when the computer takes you to reservationstays.com. You will get fleeced.

Very terrible service from this one and please NEVER go with them!!!!!

Very terrible service from this one. I called them so many times for a receipt but never get any answering. This is so crazy. However, when you called the booking they answer so quickly and friendly. Feels really cheating and scramming. This is worst experience over my 20+ experience and first with this one by accidently. Please take this lesson and carefully check before you click. Never with the RESERVATION STAYS PLEASE!!!!

My colleague booked my stay through…

My colleague booked my stay through reservations stay.com and i happen to misplaced my room charges receipt and called Hilton Garden but could not help at all. I was told to call reservations stay.com and i really thought it was a dead end.
Customer rep VikVik answered my call and helped me all the way. He even made sure i got the email of the receipt before he hang up.
He is one of the few that has customer service mentality.

Refundable booking-Not refundable

À glitch on the website making a booking meant that the dates of à booking was automatically changed. Even though I paid for a refundable booking, apparently incorrect dates is not grounds for amending the booking. Alongside everything else Thats not an emergency that is not foreseen.

Because this terrible business does not have a call centre in the UK , it cost me £20 in phone call to come to a resolution. The resolution was me loosing out on the booking.

My advice, DO NOT USE RESERVATION STAYS! Awefull service and customer relations.

Refused to refund cancellation fee even though I cancelled within an hour of making the reservation

Scam website that looks like hotel website. Offers full refund if reservation cancelled within 24hrs. I cancelled within an hour after I realized this was not hotel website. I was refunded the amount for the hotel, but not the extra amount I paid to have a cancellation date closer to my reservation date. I did the initial reservation over the phone and was NEVER TOLD during that phone call that the extra cancellation fee was not refundable. I was told that it was not refundable when I cancelled the reservation and was consequently asked to read the fine print (cancellation terms and conditions). It never occurred to me that "full refund" meant that I needed to read the cancellation terms and conditions. They absolutely refused to refund me this extra amount. As all other reviewers have said, do not use this company.

Run away!!

Run away! Like many customers on here, I thought I was booking directly with hotel. When my mom was suddenly moved to hospice, I reached out to the hotel directly with questions on canceling only to discover the hotel had no record of me coming at all! I looked closely to discover “Reservation Stays” is reportedly fraudulently dealing with customers & has very concerning reviews. Not only that, they charged TWICE what real hotel charged. BBB, FTC, CA Attorney General all notified & I called the credit card company to reverse charge & get a refund. Run away! Hope they get caught & held accountable! These crooks will never grant a refund even if your mom is put on hospice!

If I could give this third party…

If I could give this third party reservation site a negative 10 star, I would. We booked our stay with dates in May for a memorial service of a family member and once we pressed the book button the web site put that our reservations was booked for the current day. I read and re-read the booking prior to submitting it and it read May 8th for a one night stay, not April 12th, but once booked the final outcome read April 12th. I think this is a deliberate scam by this company. They were impossible to deal with as well. Upon calling them initially, I was put on hold for about a half hour, until someone answered, and when they did answer, they Stated we wouldn't get a refund unless we had the hotel write an email stating the name, reservation, the reservation time and date and had a manager sign it. We would then have the manager forward this note to them. Upon calling the hotel, they said no problem we can cancel that for you and have the third party reimburse you, but the company needs to call us and say its okay to cancel as we don't typically do those notices that the Reservation stay requested, and since the payment was made through their website, they need to reimburse you. So I had to call Reservation Stay to speak with a representative again and have been on hold for over an hour to have them probably tell me that there are no refunds. Please do not use this company and look very carefully at the website you click on when booking a hotel, as this web site looks like the authentic Marriott website. And shame on the Marriott for allowing these terrible third parties to use them. This company seems to be very deceptive with their management of reservations and changing dates when booking.

Immoral behavior.

A zero rating, if I could. Absolutely immoral behavior and hard to believe this company remains in business. A short version of three weeks of "working" with customer service. First, I booked because I believed I was working with the hotel directly: that was the first scam. Due to a medical emergency, I needed to change dates and diligently worked at doing so. No reply, no reply, no reply. Then, the company outlined what I needed to accomplish with the hotel itself, which I did. Then, no reply, no reply, no reply. Finally, I received a "credit," due to their mishandling. Really? Please. I would never consider booking through them again. Egregious behavior. I am writing this review in the hope that no one else has to deal with this company.

Absolute worst booking company

I booked a hotel reservation through Reservation Stays and purchased the extended refund policy. A few days before our trip, my daughter got very ill, and I submitted a request for refund through the website as instructed. I provided a letter from my child’s doctor, explaining her illness and that she would be unable to travel. Not only was my request denied, the company did not provide any sort of contact number. This company is a total and complete scam. Do not ever book a reservation through them, you will most definitely be sorry.

It's a scam

It's a scam. I tried canceling the reservations immediately and no one answers to cancel. It looks like its part of the Hilton website. Out $1500.00. Don't use it. I canceled directly with the real phone number of the Hilton. However, credit card is already charged. Reported fraud and canceled my card. Don't use it!

Scam website that looks like hotel website. Offers full refund if reservation cancelled within 24hrs. I cancelled immediately I realized this was not hotel website and my money was sent to "my account" at Super.com for "future bookings". Impossible to reach anyone in customer service. SCAM and I am out more than $500
