Flying in 3 hours to find hotel reservation cancelled!

I’m hours from getting on a plane to go to Vegas and checked my Caesars app to find out my reservation was cancelled! Why, not sure. When, not sure! There has been zero communication from this company and now all of a sudden they won’t answer the phone. They don’t really offer a great deal anyway.

Charged credit card after informed not to.

I called to inquire about a hotel as all were booked in the area. I gave the attendant my credit card information after he found a room and immediately informed him not to charge my card as i had a gift certificate to the hotel. He said ok all is good. I got to the hotel and the card had already been charged. The room i had reserved and payed for was not available.

This company is full of baloney. They make you go through hoops to get money back and then hold some telling you it's in the terms and conditions. When you read all that you cannot find anything relating to what they said and they will not clarify. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

Criminal

This company are scam artists of the highest order. I wish I had come here first. When will I ever learn? £293 stolen from me and they refuse a refund. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING RIPPED OFF!! I am so upset 😡

DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR URLs!

My husband booked a hotel room on this website under the mistaken impression that it was the hotel's official website. We needed to change the date; when we did so, we elected to save the payment for the original reservation as a credit, believing that it was applied to the hotel. It was not. Rather, it was applied to a future reservation through reservationstays, which allows 30 days for use.
We therefore felt forced to use the site again in order to access the amount of the payment, but even after I clicked on "apply credit," the booking still charged the full amount to a credit card. The agent on the phone advised that once the reservation had been made, there was no way to retroactively apply the credit.

False advertising and scam

False advertising and scam. Booked a pet friendly room with reservationstays because they advertised the hotel was pet friendly. Ticked the extra refund fee of $30 just in case. The hotel I had booked turned out to actually be conducting renovations and couldn't accommodate me, I contacted the hotel 10 days out to confirm and found out.

Then I contacted reservationstays to seek a cancellation and refund only to be told that didn't meet their conditions for a refund. Their conditions are basically emergency situations only.

Don't book through these people, even when I tried to call them it was an international number that costs money, and they hung up on me after about 18 minutes of mostly being on hold.

I would give less than 1 star if possible.

It is absolutely criminal how inept and corrupt they are. I tried to cancel my trip with ample time to spare, yet was never answered despite multiple emails and more than 10 calls. The hotel noted they were under contract with ReservationStays and could only process a refund through them. This company and it's customer "support" team are the absolute worse people I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

STAY FAR AWAY

Folks looking to get the best rates- don't use this site. Not only does it charge 80% above the rate you can get directly from the hotel, you can not get a refund. You "may" get credits- even though flex hotel rates let you cancel up to 72hrs before the first night of your stay. STAY FAR AWAY

I urge everyone to be cautious when booking through Reservation Stays. I found this site ranking high on Google, leading me to believe I was booking directly with a reputable major chain (like Hilton). This site is misleading, and the user experience is fundamentally broken, costing me $160.

Technical Failure and Mis-Booking

I attempted to book a room for December 10th. Despite repeatedly entering the correct date, the system continually reverted the reservation date to November 17th (the current day). After the third attempt, I mistakenly believed the system had finally accepted the correct date and confirmed the booking.

Immediately after confirmation, I realized the reservation was incorrectly set for today, November 17th. I was not looking for a refund, but simply wanted to modify the reservation to the correct date of December 10th.

Customer Service and Cancellation Nightmare

The platform's inability to modify a booking—even seconds after a clear system error—is unacceptable.

The process to correct this simple mistake was an immediate runaround:

Reservation Stays told me the hotel had to approve the date change/cancellation.

I called the hotel directly, and they correctly stated that Reservation Stays, as the third-party intermediary, had to handle the claim.

Reservation Stays finally called the hotel, but the hotel was only given the option to approve or deny a cancellation of the immediate (Nov 17th) reservation, which they denied.

This company created a situation where their terrible user experience forced an incorrect booking, and their lame customer service policy made it impossible to correct. I am now out $160 for a reservation I never intended to make, all due to a faulty booking platform and a confusing maze of bureaucracy.

Avoid Reservation Stays if you value your time and money. Book directly with the hotel chain to avoid this frustration.

Illegal fraudsters and Appalling scam. Was directed to this site when clicked on an actual hotel website (Premier Inn)for which I needed to book a second room: did not realise it was a third party website as was in a hurry. The hotel has no record of the booking and when I tried to cancel, it said I would have credit and kept the fee for the reservation cancellation. Illegal fraudsters.

Phone agent failed to disclose $272.52 in mandatory fees

I booked a hotel with Reservation Stays by phone on Saturday, October 25, 2025. The agent quoted and charged $799.99 and did not disclose additional mandatory fees. After payment, my confirmation showed the total would actually be $1,072.51 at check-in—an undisclosed $272.52 increase. I called on Sunday, October 26, 2025 to request a refund because we could not afford the undisclosed charge. The hotel said they would authorize a refund, but Reservation Stays refused to process it. I’m requesting a full refund of $799.99, they are refusing.

Never, never book through this company

I had made a reservation at Radisson El Paso airport at a website I thought was their actual site. Evidently not. Made reservation through this site. Husband is having significant health issues so our trips to El Paso are medical. I made a 3 day reservation for a pet scan. The doctor couldn't see us for several days for results so I called to cancel 2 of the 3 days I had booked. The automatic telephone answerer cancelled all 3 days much to my chargrin. I spoke with 2 different ladies trying to sort it out, both hung up on me. I called again & was again disconnected. They are charging me for 1 night I did not want to cancel requiring me to rebook and pay for the same night again. Do not ever book through this organization.

RUN DON'T USE!!!!

RUN DON'T USE!!!!! I thought I was booking thru the hotel, was asked if I wanted ins. coverage if I had to cancel early. Clicked yes was directed to this site and bought ins. But if you cancel you have to work with another company called refundableme which is a bigger scam. Reservationstays will not help! Used a credit card and now they want all my banking information. Not comfortable giving.

Awful experience

Do not use this company ever! They just take your money. If you have a question or issue, their support team is terrible to deal with. If you ask to speak to a manager they will not allow it. We lost over 300.00 with this company when booking a room. We thought we were booking a room in Maine and they booked us in Oregon. They had absolutely no sympathy for our circumstance. If I could rate them zero I would! Beware if they pop up as the 3rd party vendor when booking. Go to the actual hotel website.
