Finding insurance made simple
Using the site in general was uncomplicated and the questions asked in order to get a quote, straight forward and direct. Once the questions were answered and the request for a quote sent, the quotes were quickly provided (all of which were reasonably priced). The whole process from start to finish took no more than 20 minutes with no hiccups! Thank you.

Having reviewed your journey with us, we can see there was an increase in your premium as a result of the vehicle owner being incorrectly given and a claim was not disclosed when the quote was obtained.
The correct information must be provided to any insurance company. Had your policy been allowed to continue unaltered, you could have faced serious problems in the event of needing to make a claim. It's a shame you feel this is a poor service. We feel it is better for you if we check your information at the start of your policy so that if you need to make a claim, it can be handled swiftly and without delay.

Apparently I didn’t tick the ‘commute’…
Apparently I didn’t tick the ‘commute’ button when I obtained the insurance. The full annual payment left my account yesterday. They now want to charge me another £147 to commute to work! I drop my daughter off at school next door, and that’s ok! I have now cancelled the policy for being misleading! 5 days to get a refund. I now have no car insurance until I get my refund and purchase another policy! But it comes out my account straight away! Daylight robbery in plain site. Whether it’s legal or not, it’s a disgrace

Having reviewed your journey, when the quote was obtained online the class of use was selected as Social, Domestic and Pleasure us only. During the validation call with our team, it was discovered that you would be using your car to commute to work. To make sure you are correctly covered, your policy required to be updated and as a result, caused an increase in your premium.
The correct information must be provided to any insurance company. Had your policy been allowed to continue unaltered, you could have faced serious problems in the event of needing to make a claim. It is better for you if we check your information at the start of your policy so that if you need to make a claim, it can be handled swiftly and without delay.
As a result of the increase, you decided to cancel. Payments are processed instantly because your bank is simply approving a hold on funds. Refunds take longer because the money has to be sent back through the banking system and settled by your bank. This typically takes 3-5 working days, even though we process our end straight away.

My renewal was much cheaper than last year. I was expecting it to go up given the general perception that Insurance policies for vehicles always goes up - but not in this case.
