I put Company very efficient. You’re on the phone and they deal with it as fast as possible. There’s no waiting about like some Insurance companies they send you through the quote. Having reviewed your policy, we can see that there was no price difference. You opted to include breakdown cover with your policy this year. Our renewal offer clearly states that optional extras are not automatically added. We believe it is fairer for customers to chose to take additional cover at each renewal rather than opting customers in. This means you can clearly see exactly what you're paying for and easily choose to not include anything you no longer need, rather than paying for cover automatically bundled in.

£85 for nothing! …
Unfortunately this was not a pleasant experience. I completed my details on line and noted I had 2 cars and my NCD to then been informed I couldn’t use my NCD. I received an email that instructed me I had to call straight away for a data check. I was given a name and extension number. I called the number immediately and I was then told said individual would call me back. I then had to go through the entire claim again on the phone at this point I thought it was a scam I have never had to do this before. I was instructed to send a letter on headed paper of my proof of NCD. I called my other insurance company to provide this. They only provide emails which I forwarded but this was rejected as not good enough. I then had to get hold of my other insurer on the phone waiting over half an hour. I was then told via email I couldn’t use the NCD on both cars. No phone call no advice! It was a very traumatic day and it didn’t look like I’d be collecting my car that day. I then sent various emails and requested in each of the emails for them to confirm if the evidence I was submitting would be sufficient. I’ve never received a response but I did receive a certificate so I can only assume all is ok. When I enquired about ending the policy I was told it would cost me £85 and I hadn’t even got my car at this point. Will not be renewing with them and pray I don’t need their services and defo would not recommend.

We validate all policies to make sure the information provided is correct. It is better for you if we check your information at the start of your policy so that if you need to make a claim, it can be handled swiftly and without delay.
Having reviewed your experience with us, it looks like the first NCD document you sent was missing the expiry date, due to the policy still being active. You subsequently provided proof which was accepted and your documents were issued to you.
When you bought your policy, you agreed to our Terms of Business and confirmed this by ticking a box. The terms state there is a cancellation fee of £25 if you cancel within 14 days, or £55 if you cancel after 14 days. There is also a £60 arrangement fee. All fees are non-refundable.
It's a shame that you feel your experience hasn't been a good one. However, your policy is fully validated and issued now and we hope to be of valuable service to you moving forward.
