The process was Madge difficult due to the title company/underwriting not getting the property description correct on the closing documents. We tried to close multiple times and were finally able to get everything corrected after a week. Nerve wracking for me.

Your representative Janice Wilcox was so knowledgeable and patient with a computer caveman like me that we were able to accomplish a video chat closing when I wasn't even aware such things existed. I guess that's what they mean by expert.
Communication was sparse
Communication was sparse, kept sending the alta with wrong numbers. Suppose to close tomorrow, but not sure they will fix the numbers which will delay the closing. Would have solved the issue with the single statement that even though it says final statement we were still waiting for final tax numbers, but at least the agent did call back and clarify issues.
Shane made it very simple
Shane made it very simple. He reached out the morning of and made sure we knew what was going on and made sure we E-signed everything we could. I would recommend rocket mortgage and Shane to everyone I know is looking for a mortgage company!!1

I started with Christian Espinoza and he laid out the process for me considering my circumstances with much love and precision. Him and his whole team worked together to make my sale smooth as silk. I was never in the dark and they all made me feel like I was the queen of the world.
For one right from the beginning
For one right from the beginning, never spoke to the same person more than twice, never communicated to us what was going on other than by the rocket website. Forced us to get information about a manufactured home that we had no clue or information about. We purchased a home, It was listed with the assessor as a single-family home on 10 1/2 acres, but they forced us to get paperwork to retire, a manufactured home title, which after 36 years, I think it should’ve been grandfathered as it was. I had to pay $160 for an 8 1/2 x 11 data sheet that had no useful information on it. I was told it was needed so we could close. Received it, downloaded it, only to find out it wasn’t good enough and then we had to spend another $900 to get some other information that was needed to close.. It is next to impossible to get paperwork from 1990 considering the fact that we are not the ones that bought the manufactured home! we bought the home already on the foundation on the 10 acres and it was sold to us as a single family home. The next problem was it took almost 3 months to close we were told a month max. I’m just not real happy how this whole experience was. We started out at one interest rate it was supposed to be locked in next thing. I know the interest rates going up, but by this time we were so far into the process we would just finish. If I had known it was gonna take three months I would’ve changed companies. The only person I found helpful through this whole thing was Channell I don’t remember her last name off the top of my head, but she was the only person that communicated with us through the process of trying to get this title cleared and unfortunately, she’s the one that I expressed my frustrations on. The one final thing Rocket does everything online the closing was done online. All the paperwork was done online. Communication was done online. The only thing that’s not done. Online is paying the creditors which I think they need to come up with a better plan especially considering everything else was done online. So now Im forced to get all their addresses find out how to pay it by mail, wait for the checks to arrive , go to the post office to get stamps (because who the heck has stamps nowadays) and now it’s going to take 7 to 10 days to get these creditors paid off. Not to mention they got the amounts two months ago some amounts have changed. And we were told if it’s more than what we owe than the creditors will just have to give us a refund or a credit just what you wanna do is send a credit card company more money than you need to and then try to get it back. But, at least we closed finally! And thank you to Becki your communication since we close has been very helpful. I will give you one thing the gentleman that came out the notary for the manufactured title paperwork was amazing and the lady that came out for closing. The notary was also amazing.

Everything was easy to manage with details that could be understood when completing each step of the mortgage process. Being able to close on line was so easy and the process was presented with complete and understandable instructions.
