Root & Pestle Premium Kava Powders are made with 100% noble kava roots that are hand-selected from local farmers and processed, tested, and packaged in-house at our Processing Facility on the island of Espiritu Santo (northern islands of Vanuatu, the birthplace of kava) to ensure premium quality, variety and sustainability. Our state-of-the-art technology means we can bridge the gap between freshness and convenience by producing instant and traditional ground kava blends and single cultivars that are incredibly clean to the palette and pack a traditional punch. We are proud to share our tried and tested products and guarantee there is something for everyone. Root & Pestle: Revolutionising the Kava Experience.

Avoid the rubbish sold in supermarkets -
Avoid the rubbish sold in supermarkets - it's not instant kava it's micronised. False advertising and a blight on the industry who are doing the right thing.

Thank you for the awesome review!!
You know what you're getting – strain, origin, chemotype, potency and kavalactone breakdown
I really appreciate that R&P is one of the few vendors who publish detailed information on the kavalactone content of each of their products.
The strain, origin and chemotype is advertised upfront, and with a bit of digging I was able to find the lab tests that confirm the overall potency and a detailed kavalactone breakdown. It'd be nice if these test results were more easily accessible via the website though, I was only able to find them by searching Google with the filetype:pdf tag.
Prices (including shipping) are a little on the high end, but you get what you pay for.

Incredible kava
These people are obviously passionate about their kava. The website provides a lot of in-depth information and really helped this newbie better understand and respect the culture surrounding the use of this drink. I am really happy with the service and the kava. I've tried a few other vendors but I don't think you will find a better product elsewhere.

Wasn’t expecting much
Wasn’t expecting much, had double the dose (approx 32g) and it blew my head off. Had the recommended dose today and it’s really good, I actually feel pretty ‘stoned’. Really happy considering I wasn’t expecting it to actually work!

The instant Green kava is completely ineffective. I have sent an email to ask to return the bundled product set i purchased and receive a refund. I haven't heard back from their customer service area as yet. Given 3 stars only because the product arrived quickly after ordering online.

Réponse de Root & Pestle Kava
We're sorry to hear you've not had a good experience with the instant green. Kava is so specific person to person and what might work for one doesn't always work for another. We'd suggest trying a different cultivar and see how that goes. Thank you for your feedback. Please send your query to enquiries@rootandpestlekava.com and we'll have our team sort it out.
