Very disappointed this time with my…
Very disappointed this time with my fillet steak. 4 out of 5 have large amounts of fat and when cut away got 50% of meat left!!
Usually fillet steak has been very good from Rox that is why I have been a loyal customer and spent a lot with them. I’m reconsidering and changing my butcher!

Good meat, unsatisfactory customer process
The meat I got was great quality and well packaged. However, they called to tell me that most of what I ordered wasn’t available (though their website had said it was) so they shipped what they had and refunded the difference. I was annoyed that they went ahead with the order rather than checking I still wanted it, as the main product I wanted was out of stock and so I ended up paying very expensive postage for things I could have done without. On this basis I would avoid using them again, unfortunately.

Delayed one day by heat wave
Delayed one day by heat wave; I must assume it was kept well chilled throughout, but divided up into 8 portions and froze immediately in case.
Delivery was really quickly
No longer the same
Used to be good, but no longer the same. Seem to get every order wrong. At least before they used to correct it and send the right order out. Now they just fob you off saying will fix it on the "next order". Like I'll be ordering from here again. Just soeant £45 for a 2kg lamb leg!

Damaged packages again, this time all packages not just one, no point reporting to the company because the customer service is dreadful. But that's what you get for ordering from the cheapest on the market

Not at all helpful if you query a transaction
Noticed a pending transaction on my cc so I queried it with my cc Bank they advised me to contact Rox Meat which I did. They didn’t look very closely into the transaction and asked me to raise a charge back form with my cc Bank. The form wasn’t appropriate as I couldn’t complete some of the questions as I hadn’t placed an order so the cc Bank had to raise it as a fraud which meant they have to issue me with a new cc so I’ve had to change all my regular transactions to another cc. If Rox Meat had looked more into the transaction this could have been resolved without the aggro of a new cc. They just passed the buck onto me when I hadn’t ordered anything from them.

The service is very good and meat excellent: from chicken to lamb. Our favourite is the beef fillet!

Frustration, disappointment and a terrible experience
I've placed an order on 15th of April and I still haven't received it today Saturday 23rd. I cannot express my frustration in decent words. A very poor communication, I had to chase my order every day, no information provided. Every time I was asking about my order somebody was coming up with a new excuse.
Worse part is they lied to me, on Wednesday they told me my order was posted with parcelforce and 2 days after I received another email saying they had some more issues and my parcel wasn't posted. I work in Logistics, I dispatch 30 lorries every day for many years now and every article is being delivered on time, the next day, all around UK, with no delays. With all the technology and communication we have today a parcel can be sent to the moon in one week, I don't understand how a small parcel from London cannot reach it's destination in the same country in Cornwall in 10-12 days, not just any kind of parcel, we're talking about fresh meat. They kept playing like this with me the whole week....now we've sent it, now we haven't. I received an email today saying my parcel wasn't sent and they will try to send it on Monday, this looks like a bad joke, made by very unprofessional people.
Not to mention the importance this orders has for me, as this weekend is the Orthodox Easter, I have guests coming over the weekend and I was meant to cook a traditional meal. Now I have to disappoint everyone , not to mention the Easter is ruined, you ruined it. Once again I cannot express my frustration....a terrible experience, with no doubt this is one of Easters I'll never forget.
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company. Ordered on 8th April, was supposed to be dispatched next day. By 12th still no updates or communication so contacted company and told there was a stock issue. Fair enough but an update would have been nice. Told products would be dispatched on 13th and arrive next day. Notification from courier receievd later that day advising delivery wouldn't be until 18th April, meaning the fresh meat would have been in transit for 5 days!! Website guarantees 3 days max and after that products aren't safe. Even a follow up email confirms 72 hours max. Contacted customer service and told it's so long for delivery becuase I live in Scotland (mainland, not the Highlands) even though the website guarantees delivery to everywhere in Scotland within 3 days!! Seems to think 5 days will be fine but in same breath says max is 72 hours (3 day), I think environmental health services would like to know about this. Avoid this company especially if you live in Scotland.
