made a claim, they asked me to take to one there approved dealers, they took a look and said it was bird poo damage, claim was approved and sorted very quickly. no complaints

Ive had my car 7 year - never put a claim in - anyway bird poo stained my cars paint so sent a email putting in a claim fir the damage
Car was sent to a apprived garage where they inspected the car and agreeed the paint was damaged. The garage sent off the details to scotts guard and in less and 24 hours the claim processed and sorted.
No hassle, no fuss. Excellent

poor service and attitude
Very dissatisfied with the service and the company's answer. The obvious watermarks on my seats were not ...watermarks in their opinion ?!! The service was poor, still stains on my seats, when I complained, they said that due to the scratches on the seatbelt mechanism, the stains that I have were not daily liquid spills. Also, they mention that they cleand my car seats as a GOODWILL !!! No, my friends, I have paid for a service, that was not charity or benevolence on your side. I do not recommend, waste of money.

I have reviewed your claim details this morning.
The Safegard Interior Guarantee, provides cover in the event of a stain caused by a spillage of day to day liquid (tea / coffee etc.) on the interior upholstery.
It is clear from the images taken by our cleaning services contractor, the stains you reported were not caused by such an issue. Despite this we processed the claim anyway as goodwill and paid for the seats to be professionally cleaned. We have a report from the cleaning contractor detailing success with "before & after" images which was sent to you.
The other markings you refer to were also not caused by stains from a liquid spillage / watermarks (and therefore not covered under the Guarantee), but caused by wear & tear (adjacent to the marked seatbelt holder).

The Safegard Guarantee is worth its weight in gold!
My car was damaged by bird lime despite having purchased Safegard paint protection, however I suspect the dealership who applied it to my car either didn’t do it properly, or do it at all in the rush to deliver on time, so I can’t really comment on the Safegard product itself.
The Safegard guarantee however, has certainly proven to be worth its weight in gold after I made a claim in response to the damage. With superb customer service Scotts Trading quickly processed my claim and booked me into a local body shop (Stacey & Hanson Body & Paint, who did a fantastic job). The damage is now repaired and I can highly recommend Scotts Trading.

Superb customer service
Superb customer service. Thank you Dianne. Only four days from making a claim to paint damage being fixed.
Bird lime had damaged the paint on my bonnet and roof. Referred to Hendys to investigate and repair. Also an excellent company with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
