First check was speed of contact by phone. After the usual recorded Go to our Website and AP my initial call was answered in seconds. That hurdle crossed the policy and single excess with no additional percentages was the best offer for me. Docs arrived within minutes great initial service

Violet my dog was diagnosed with epilepsy 2 yrs ago we got help the first yr with the tablets [Epiphen] then nothing i know ur not the most expensive company and of course we can't go to another company as she wouldn't be insured for her illness 😉

We’ve reviewed the position and, on this occasion, the claim was assessed in line with the limits shown within the policy schedule. Under Gold cover, veterinary fees are covered up to the overall limit for each injury or illness, but some areas of treatment have their own inner limits. External laboratory fees, for example, are limited per condition, rather than resetting each policy year. The compulsory excess is also applied per injury or illness, per policy year.
Where previous treatment for the same condition has already used the relevant inner limit, this can affect what remains payable on a later claim. Once the applicable policy limits and excess were taken into account here, there was unfortunately no further settlement due.

My dog had 2 episodes of cancer that required surgery monitoring lasar and dressings he also had monitored analgesia. Scratch and patch paided my claim for which I was grateful but above all my boy was a solider and still alive

Customer service is fantastic and they managed to get my quote details before it was due for renewal as I needed it for financial purposes. I also received correspondence when my payment didn't go through. The yearly renewal is very competitive which is why I've remained with them.

Fast and Efficient Service all round
Unfortunately I had to make a claim recently but Scratch & Patch handled it quickly and effectively without any stress or worry. I was paid out within 2 weeks and it was fast and straightforward. I did ring at one point with a question and was given good advise and any worries laid to rest. Really great service and would highly recommend to anyone looking for pet insurance. The only downside is that my vets do not deal with this company directly. If they could do that then that would be a huge weight lifted as it was a bit of a struggle for me to raise the bill and then wait for the claim payment back.
