I bought 3 bottles
I bought 3 bottles - my lady couldn’t stand any of them - I’m buying them to cut down on my alcohol - and 3 days in I have to say I don’t mind them at all. It’s a new product and evolving and I think we should give the brand a chance!!!

Second time ordering brought 3 bottles…
Second time ordering brought 3 bottles as you get discount can't tell you how much it has helped me relax after losing my hubby last year and 2 cats this year it's been a godsend for me before I started on it I was comfort eating which made me feel worse about life so saving me money as well
I like it with sparkling water and lime or lemon with loads of ice have 1 or2 and evening actually makes me sleep which i wasn't doing

What a clever & delicious alcohol…
What a clever & delicious alcohol alternative! I have just held a wellness retreat where having alcohol didn't feel appropriate. But we also wanted to have a fun night with a great focus. SENTIA was perfect. It really does relax you - like some would say a glass of wine does but without all the nastiness. I have been really trying to swap out alcohol where possible, I've tried a few non alcohol drinks but this really gives you something different. It really does calm the mind unlike what the others offer. And one of the ladies said the next day that she'd had the best night sleep after it in a long time. I like many ladies getting to a certain age knows that alcohol really doesn't agree anymore. So I will be switching to this in as many social situations as I can until it becomes the norm in bars! Which I'm sure & hope it will soon.

Trying to cut down on what since Covid…
Trying to cut down on what since Covid became an almost daily reliance on alcohol as a means of relief from work/family stresses, I’ve found Sentia to be a great way to break that pattern. Although so far, in my limited use (not yet through the first bottle of red), the effects are quite mild they are nevertheless sufficiently pronounced to stave off the reflex reach for a beer/glass of wine. In fact, the more I get used to Sentia (red) the more I appreciate the different and relaxed sense of contentment it offers. I may try branching out into other varieties in the near future.

I wasn't impressed by the flavours
I wasn't impressed by the flavours. The Black reminded me of an old-fashioned Victorian cough mixture! The Gold tasted somewhat better but neither had a noticeable relaxing effect on me. Too late I discovered that people taking medication should not drink either!

There could be a number of factors influencing SENTIA's effect:
Individual variances: Your GABA system is very much your own, and individual chemistry varies from person to person, so the experience of SENTIA will vary too.
Alcohol in system: Regular alcohol drinkers may have a high tolerance to GABA release, which will moderate the SENTIA experience. Studies suggest that you can reset your tolerance to GABA release by refraining from drinking for 2 to 3 weeks.
SSRI’s: (Selective Serotonin Inhibitors) anti-psychotics, tranquillisers and some epileptic medications may inhibit the effects of SENTIA.
Expectations: SENTIA is not designed to get you “drunk”, but offer a more refined experience. All feelings are of course very subjective, and will vary from person to person.
Context: There is a great deal of scientific evidence indicating that drinking (or talking any mind altering substance) alone creates a very different effect from doing so socially. The science suggests the same will be true with SENTIA.

Great idea, awful taste
The idea is great, but unfortunately I found the taste and aroma completely unpalatable (Sentia red). Bitter, with a soapy background aroma that completely put me off, even when mixed with lemonade. Just my personal opinion.

Just poured half a bottle down the sink
This was SO not for me that I just poured half the bottle that had been sitting in the fridge for months down the sink and put the bottle in the recycling. Pointless. And very expensive. I suspect any perception of cognitive uplift is a placebo effect - because at that price it surely MUST be doing something?
It's even more pointless, and even more expensive, than that zero alcohol gin!

A relaxing feeling withSentia Red…but not a great taste
The relaxing feeling Sentia Red produces is nice but the taste is not good, even when a mixer is added.
Hopefully, taste will be improved over time as the product concept is great.

Hmmm....
Like others here I became aware of Sentia spirits via the recent conversation between Dr Nutt and Dr Campbell. Intrigued, I decided to order a sample. You should definitely consider offering an "introductory pack" of all three variants, perhaps at an attractive price, to let new would-be users sample the full range. In any event I went for Red, and ordered a bottle which was delivered promptly, and wrapped in recyclable packaging. So how did it go?
Firstly, price. At £32 a bottle it isn't cheap, but might be compared to a designer gin which would be similarly priced. That said, much of the price of alcoholic drinks is tax so I'm assuming Sentia is still to reap the benefits of economies of scale.
Taste. I liked the taste of Red with a tonic mixer. It had echoes of mulled wine and Campari and was, in my view, a pleasant drink.
Did it "work"? Well... I'm not sure. I might be convinced that a slight softening of "the edge" has taken place, but I've witnessed similar effects at gatherings where an individual has been fooled into thinking they have had an alcoholic drink, when in fact they haven't. Placebo effect, in other words.
I'm slightly disappointed that there wasn't a more noticeable change in mood, comparable to a single G 'n T, say. I've read the caveats on individual responses, but if I drink a single G 'n T, I know I've drunk it, but with Red...? I'm not totally convinced about resetting receptors etc. From the same baseline, gin and Red produce noticeably different responses in me. Perhaps there is scope for a "full fat" or "Navy strength" Sentia product?
Edited to add.
Several people have reported longer restful sleep after drinking Sentia. Me? Woke up at one o'clock and didn't really get back to sleep again.

I've tried on a couple more occasions, but still nothing.... In desperation, I added a shot of gin to a Sentia/tonic mixer and that did the trick.
Perhaps a double-blind tasting might yield some quantitative insight. Happy to participate!

SENTIA will not have the same effect as alcohol as alcohol stimulates other receptors as well and does not have a ceiling effect. SENTIA is merely there to stimulate GABA to promote relaxation and sociability.

I am a huge fan of Sentia Spirits. I'm thrilled to have finally found a range of non-alcoholic drinks that not only taste fantastic but they DO also make you feel so relaxed and chilled too.
