I have definitely gotten addicted to this app. It can be great when the seller is very descriptive about the item and answers your questions. Unfortunately that's only about 25% of the sellers. I've learned to only buy from sellers I trust as some items I received had some imperfections that were not disclosed. That being said, I've gotten some incredible deals from here. Not everything is a deal but you need to do your research about what you're buying just like any store.

Received a marketplace order and loved it. The seller offered an item as described and was quick at shipping my item with care.

I had a very disappointing experience. I had to pay customs charges, which I was not properly informed or prepared for in advance.

What made it worse was the poor packing. The items were packed in an old brown box, with no protective bags, no proper wrapping, and no presentable or secure packaging. Considering the amount paid, I expected professional packing standards, which were clearly not met.

For the price charged, this level of service is unacceptable. I would strongly recommend better transparency about customs costs and significantly improved packing quality.

I have bought items that are not well described and should be heavily discounted. The platform is not checked and often fakes.

It’s a Hit & miss with ShopThing for me, I’ve been ordering from them for quite sometime now 50/50.

I've bought many items over multiple years from this app and I'm always satisfied. Great sellers with great items. Would highly recommend.

As of November 2025I have been shopping with the company for little over 3 years and I want to love EVERYTHING, but some things are just a miss. As everyone knows the shipping is a big issue, which I've actually become accustomed to at this point. More recently there has been an uptick in the duties and fees that are charged for US buyers. It sometimes depends on who's sending it, when they're sending it, and how they fill out the customs forms and the invoice. I've been charged anywhere from $80 per item to $12 and this becomes very costly when not included in the price.

I've also noticed on the marketplace side there isn't any way for shoppers to know the legitimacy of items, this is concerning especially since I am expecting high luxury items at a discount. There needs to be some oversight on the marketplace.

Overall, the app concept is what draws me in. I love scrolling like its social media and the process is easy and the girls on the app most often times communicate quickly and don't mind bundling things. Thus far I have received all nice items that are authentic. Sometimes the sizing gets a little tricky and the no return policy is in full affect. I currently love all my finds!

The company did well. Everything was shipped and packed well. When i had a problem they were quick to help
