Skirting Online Avis 

I ordered skirting boards on line which was easy enough however the delivery was anything but successful.
The email advised the delivery would happen between 0800 and 1800hrs okay I thought, I left my key with my neighbour so DX (delivery company)
No call from either DX or other driver with an ETA,
1800hrs came and went with nothing,
Luckily I went for a walk and went through the car park and guess what, there they were, sitting beside the car park and the main door ( nowhere near my property)
What would have happened if I didn't walk through the carpark, they would have been there until the following morning out in the elements (it Scotland it could have rained)
So......
(1) The driver had two ways of contacting me, my mobile or pressing the buzzer for Numberwhich would have called my house (I was home by 1445hrs)
(2) what would have happened if the skirting went missing ot got damaged

So I ask myself was the delivery successful
The Answer Absolutely not, and they have the cheek to charge me for it

The product is good but the company has been let down big time by the delivery company (DX)

I chose skirtings online as they stated they could get their product to me asap. Ordered on the Sunday and paid for next day express delivery, As it was Sunday assumed that would be Tuesday but turned out to be Wednesday. No tracking number was supplied so I requested one on Wednesday, this never arrived. The consignment then arrived at the billing address ! over 200 miles away from the requested delivery address ! Contacted Skirtings online via telephone and was told that delivery to delivery address would be the next day (Thursday) before 12 noon and this would be confirmed via email , which never arrived. The delivery was made the next morning but it would have been reassuring to have the confirmation email and tracking number. All in all not a very satisfactory experience as time wasted on completing the job !

Great company. We ordered the ovolo dado rail, the pictures on the website don’t do it any justice and they look even better in the flesh, really impressed with the quality. We wasn’t too sure if I had been scammed at first but after a quick response from Rachel, it put my mind at ease that in fact it was not. Delivery man was great, really friendly and polite, it was also delivered on the day they said too. Will definitely recommend. Thank you all so much.

Can't praise enough. Rachel was super patient and really cares about the customer. I changed my mind on the profile mid order after they'd already finished cutting, and they changed at no extra cost. They came just two days later and were great quality, the priming paint job was easily the best I've had for skirting boards.

I chose 2 off door architrave sets. The delivery was quick and it was well packaged with no damages. The price was reasonable. I cut these down to size and I must admit I was impressed with the quality of the finish. Would highly recommend. I will be ordering all my skirting needs from them in the future.
