Booked 5 tickets to South Africa then asked to pay additional £700for…
Booked 5 tickets to South Africa for £1847 best price. Half an hour later I was phoned by the travel agent who asked me to send copies of my passports it took an hour to get a friend to photograph them for me as I am away. Sky wizard then phoned and said my ticket had to be changed to add my middle name and I must pay a extra £700. I refused to pay this and I called the airline to enquire they said that no booking had been made and that they do not require a middle name on the ticket. I then asked for a refund and skywizard.co.uk said that they would charge a £100 cancellation fee. I said I will raise a dispute with my credit card. I called my bank and was told the payment hadn't been taken so the threat of cancellation charges was just a trick to press me to agree to the higher price.

Terrible Experience
Terrible Experience! Firstly let me say I'm a travel agent but even I got caught out by Sky Wizard. I found a cheap flight to USA - booked with luggage and paid in full.
The booking screen stated that I would need to wait for a staff member to confirm the flight within 48 hours as the booking system wasn't live.
I then noticed that the flight had no luggage after I added it paying an extra £100.
I panicked and started to explain what had happened in the website chat box to a very rude unhelpful man named Ben who told me to add the luggage would be an additional £250 as my flight tickets had been issued. I explained again that I added the luggage but he would not have it.
I explained that the website said my flight needed to be confirmed by a staff member and that I had not been given a booking reference or airline locator so how could the tickets have been issued! I also pointed out to Ben that on the airlines website the cost to add the luggage is £150 so where did they get the amount of £250?!
Ben was rude with his response and completely unhelpful saying I had made a mistake not adding the luggage. I explained I am a travel agent and know how to book a flight with luggage and that I wanted my money back.
I have since read reviews from other customers stating this has happened to them! Luckily Sky wizard are part of PTS who I called to advise this company are very misleading and they confirmed I should get a full refund. Luckily I did get my money back after being told by Ben cancellation fees would be charged if I didn't proceed with this bogus booking!
Be warned this is not a professional booking site - they take your money then confirm the flight within 48 hours and make up fees that don't exist. Never Again!

After a lack of communication when booking my flight, I found the staff at SkyWizard very helpful and apologetic. I will have no hesitation in using them again for future bookings.

Commendable customer service
Great customer service. The ticket booking did go easy and very well. The communication part was the best. Ben assisted me throughout the booking and rescheduling process, helped me get my tickets booked at a better price. Although the rescheduling fees seemed a little over, the polite communication over calls & WhatsApp chat and timely issuing of tickets was a good experience.

Not impressed so far
Not impressed so far, I wish I had read the reviews before booking. My wife needs to travel last minute to South Africa to care for a parent. We booked a flight that seemed like a pretty good deal. The print out clearly says check in baggage allowance 2 pieces and says free baggage allowance. This is also confirmed on RwandAir website. My wife was forced to pay an extra £180 for check in luggage otherwise they would not issue tickets. I would encourage you to check your options before booking with this company.

SCAM BEWARE DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY
I've just booked a flight to Melbourne, relieved a call shortly after booking paying ,for them to tell me I've paid wrong amount as they couldn't get flight for price I booked paid in full,they asked me to pay double amount further 600 plus on top,I said no give me a refund, he replied the refund team would call me back tomorrow .I have received emails to confirm payment and booking prior to his call scam or what?

Sky Wizard SCAM
Please, please don't fall for them. I don't know how they have 4 stars on Trust Pilot, they are a scam.
Read ALL the negative reviews before booking. They give one price, send a confirmation email, but there’s no ticket and then they drag out the refund by asking for your bank account details.
Legitimate businesses refund you in the manner you paid with. If you pay with a credit card the money goes back there.
I cannot stress enough that SkyWizard is a fake company.
Glad they are not denying it. Their usual reply to a review is they can't find your booking.
The airline had the tickets reserved, but was waiting for SkyWizard to confirm the booking. We said we would raise a dispute with the bank after they kept saying we needed to pay an extra £400 in taxes. We gave our bank details but they wanted a letter from the bank to say there's no dispute. The bank won't do that and SkyWizard know this as they have done this several times previously. It's a con. Please beware.

When i called this company my call was answered quickly. I was helped by a gentleman by the name of Raymond. He answered all my questions and gave me a great price for our trip to Thailand. The same flight was quoted to me £160 more expensive. Great service and simply if you call them anytime, the call is answered quickly
