Smart Energy Avis 

In my experience, I was disappointed with the sales process. I say I was told the system would significantly reduce or eliminate my electricity bills, but that has not been my experience after installation. I also felt the price was much higher than I later found for comparable systems. I raised these concerns with the company, but they did not offer the resolution I was seeking. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this company to obtain several independent quotes and ensure every promise made by the salesperson is included in the written contract before signing.

Communication was excellent, they kept me informed in terms of fitment. And the electricians showed up on time and carried out the job very professionally.

They were quick to install, they guys who set it up were great.

Just the process was very rfgicient

The whole process was relatively simple from Smart energy representatives come knocking on my door up to the panel install. The only slight hiccup was their original decision on where the meter/inverter was going to be placed and unfortunately the original spot they drilled the holes in my brick house was within 3 meets of a gas line so that was not viable.

The salesman was very honest and explained it all to us how it was all going to work out, the installation boys were very good, done a good job installing the battery and wiring, explaining how the system worked, set up the app for us to use, overall very happy with the installation.

Installation went very well. No mess to clean up. Customer service is very good and helpful. The monitoring app was very helpful to allow me to change my energy use for maximum benefit. I would highly recommend Smart Energy *****

A series of issues. Firstly, I was given an install date which they changed a couple of days before the actual install, which meant that I wasn't able to be home on the day of installation. The battery was not installed in the place arranged with the salesman. It ended up being installed on the western wall which is not ideal. We had wanted it placed on our covered verandah, which is raised due to living in a flood zone. So the battery has been raised off the ground but not nearly as high as our verandah. Secondly, a weather shield was included in the quote, however no weather shield was installed. It took numerous weeks of phoning and trying to get someone back to install a weather shield. Once again, the installer turned up when I was away. They didn't come in the week that I was told they were coming, but the following week and only gave a day's notice. The "weather shield" does nothing to protect the battery from the afternoon sun. It is the same width as the battery and about double the depth. I have sent them before and after installation photos and the afternoon sun shining on the battery is the same in both photos. I requested a replacement that actually does protect the battery from the sun as this is what the warranty requires. They have said that they would send someone to replace the cover but it has been months now and I have contacted them regularly requesting updates. I have received the same answer each time that the request has been sent to a team that are working on it. They assured me prior to purchasing their battery that their service surpassed all the competitors, hence the higher cost of their battery. I have definitely found their service to be lacking. I recommend not choosing this company. If I could give zero stars I would.

It was a completely seamless process from start to finish only one minor technical issue that was promptly resolved
