Rates were not consistent when talking…

Rates were not consistent when talking to different people. Purchased on Friday and on Monday I got FOUR calls while at work wanting to sell me a plan. I returned the call, telling them to check their records! I still got another call after that!! You need to communicate better on your end!!!

The staff at SOS exhibit professionalism

The staff at SOS are very helpful and considerate while offering a better product. I looked into using other car warranty companies, however, SOS offers 5 years of coverage compared to other companies only offering up to 3 years of coverage. Thank you again.

These guys are absolutely horrible

These guys are absolutely horrible. They never call you back when they say they are. Been waiting for Thomas to call but I don't think the guy even exists. Ben is worthless just like the warranty claim is worthless. They are just trying to get out of repairing my vehicle. They are even making stuff up on the report about continued use after the engine blew!! An injector failure wiped out the engine and the are only willing to replace the injector. What a joke. All this distraction and back and forth in an attempt to deny the claim instead of honoring the contract. Will never recommend these guys to anyone. Stay clear as these folks are a scam warranty company.

Complete morons

Complete morons? Are you dumb or dumb? These guys have been on n off with us denying our failed fuel injection problem, after paying out of pocket to have engine diagnosed. Inspector took 2 weeks to finally come look at the car. Keep in mind we were on a platinum warranty so anything and everything is covered here. Not very smart to try and deny this with as little evidence as just not wanting to pay for it. Adam Miller if you see this this is how you wanted to play this game ill be talking to you soon. For the rest of you, take your business somewhere else if you dont want thousands ripped from your pockets.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE! I bought the platinum coverage last year for my car. I had an engine problem and ended up at the side of the road. I had the car towed immediately to our auto shop who diagnosed the car with massive engine failure. SOS sent out their inspectors and SOS then said the don't know the cause so we would have to tear apart the engine at our cost to find the cause. We did so and found that the fuel injector failed causing complete engine damage. Their inspectors came out again and confirmed the same result. Now SOS is claiming they will only pay for the fuel injector not the engine trying to say we drove around with a failed fuel injector that we had absolutely no knowledge of and have never had any issues whatsoever with the car. Our mechanics have said they have never experienced any warranty companies trying to get out of a warranty like their with clear evidence of the issue which is covered in their warranty. The damages are 31k and SOS is offering us only the fuel injector replacement not the engine replacement that is needed.
Not to mention that Ben NEVER calls us back but claims that he and Thomas have called but neither myself, my husband or our auto shop ever hear back from them. This company is horrible! Seeking legal council.

I only rated this company a 1 star…

I only rated this company a 1 star because I can't give a negative star. My truck has been in the shop for almost 2 months now. I've been dealing with Ben and Adam Miller. Do not let the sway you or tell you otherwise. They will give you false hope. You will spend countless hours just trying to get a hold of them. The mechanic had told them that my truck needed a new engine. The adjuster they had sent out told them the same thing. They made me pay for a tear down so they can physically see what wrong with the issues even though it was already explained to them. It cost me over 5k which I had to pay out of pocket. They still weren't satisfied and sent out the adjuster again to have me tell the mechanic they want it torn down even further to see the piston and if it was damaged. I complied and they still denied my claim. I bought this insurance in good faith with the appropriate mileage that was in compliance with their policy but they still stated it was damaged from wear and tear. With the mileage on my vehicle they can easily say anything is damage from wear and tear! I will be reaching out to the Department of consumer affairs and an attorney! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Every Time I call

Every Time I call, I receive their Answering Service. I called to make a claim. I got the answering service. No call back.
Out of 6 calls to SOS all went to the Answering service and no return call over a 2 month period. Two months to get someone to look at my car and get approval to remove the Transmission. After being removed I am told it is not covered due to still being in the 30 day probation period. Why did they approve the removal then. $2,700 to have my original transmission put back together and I still have not been paid on the claim due to their mistake. This started in March 2024. I DO NOT RECOMEND.

Don’t get scammed

Don’t get scammed. They don’t return calls when needing to place a claim. It’s just an endless circle of an answering service. Been waiting 2 weeks.
