We used this website for our recent trip to Peru and we could not have been HAPPIER! All of our transfers were on time. All of our tours except one were private and having the tour guides all to ourselves was truly the best experience ever. We didn't feel rushed, we had plenty of time to really get to know the Peruvian culture and plenty of time to take in our tours. Our SA travel representative was Sean McBride and he was just exceptionally wonderful. He answered our emails promptly, and on several occasions called us to make sure we understood what he had emailed us and provided time for feedback and any other questions we had. WOW!! Sean made our trip everything we wanted it to be and more! Truly fantastic! We still have more countries to visit in South America and we will definitely use SA Travel again!

This was definitely a five start experience. Guides 5+++, hotels 5 (except the one in Puno but it was still very nice. Just needed some routine maintenance in the room.) , tours 5+, variety of tours 5+, planning and information from Mike 5+, accessibility to get ahold of them if we needed anything was great. It was the trip of a lifetime for both of us...one that I had looked forward to since I was a teenager. Machu Picchu was a spiritual and inspiring tour. We were glad we did just the one day trip to the mountain though. It was just perfect.
Just a note...there is a bit of a language barrier for sure. Our guides were great, but if you are out in the islands and wandering around on your own, I suggest truly learning some basic Spanish.
Bathrooms....let your clients know that the bathroom situation is "tolerable"...but often inaccessible. No paper in the toilets...and once outside the well furnished hotel rooms, access to bathrooms becomes an issue (On Tequile Island, it is just an outside latrene.
Take antibiotics with you (just in case). We needed them...and I was glad I had some with me.

Conrad McGarvey did an excellent job planning our trip to Peru and Colombia. The entire trip could not have been planned better and was completely stress free. We really felt as if we got to see all of the highlights in Peru and loved ending our trip in Cartagena on the beach. I would absolutely recommend Conrad to a friend.

What a wonderful holiday we had, thanks to the folks at SouthAmerica.Travel. It was an interesting and exciting itinerary that was beyond our wildest dreams. Millie planned the whole trip, half the time in Rio and half the time in Amazonas. Millie really did a good job finding what I was looking for and everything went perfect, I got picked up in time, had nice Guides and saw really interessting places.. I became a great adventure

Piranha fishing, zip-lining, sand surfing, Inca ruins and a different culture. What else do you want? My wife has stated it was her 'best holiday ever’. I just love to enjoy the experience of the Country I am in for its culture and history and this exceeded my expectations. Macchu Picchu still has that ‘wow factor’ for me.

Millie at South America Travel was given a few things we wanted to do and she organised the rest of the holiday with flights, transfers and hotels. We done nothing and it all worked perfectly. It was such a fantastic adventure for us and we are not 'youngsters' but closer to 70 than 65.
It was memorable and yet another ‘box ticked’. From our own experience, we'd recommend (and thank) South America Travel for the hassle free and organised trip they created for us.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The trip that was put together by SouthAmerica.travel, and our agent Mike was absolutely perfect! We wanted to make some changes to our itinerary as our trip got closer, and Mike was able to come up with a solution that was perfect. We had one small snag while in Uruguay, and to make up for it, the agency sent us chocolates and wine to our hotel, and made dinner reservations for us. They went above and beyond! If you're looking to travel to South America (which I would highly recommend), I would 100% book your trip with SouthAmerica.travel, and if you can work with Mike I totally would!

We are party of 4 adults, just got back from our trip to Peru from 9.4.19 to 9.14.19. The trip included tours in Lima, Scared Valley, Agua Calientes, Cusco and Machu Picchu.
We contacted Izabela Zielinska at South America Travel about 4 months prior to our trip. She was excellent in helping us in creating a customized itinerary for us. She always responded to all of our questions in a timely manner. She was always prompt and professional during the whole planning process. All of the hotels, guides, transportations that she have arranged for us was outstanding.
We are thinking of a trip to Bolivia, Chile and Ecuador. We will definitely will request Izabela to help us for this itinerary.

I’ve taken two trips with SouthAmerica.travel. The first was to Peru, and the second was to Ecuador. Both tours were arranged by Martin, and both tours were superb. I am so satisfied with the manner in which SouthAmerica.travel handled everything that I am now arranging my visit to the 7th continent with them. And again, Martin is handling all the arrangements.
