Lost track of order

Lost track of order. Stuck until I contacted them. When contacted they were then quickly despatched. A one week wait for an item I desperately needed was not really acceptable

Awful customer service

There was a problem with their website after they did an upgrade so orders were stuck. Staples took no action to get the orders processed so I had to ring and email them to find out why my urgently needed order hadn’t been dispatched a couple days later. As it arrived too late for my needs, I had to contact Staples again who initially blamed me for not ordering on time for it to arrive. I had to point out that the email chain showed they had already accepted that the fault was theirs.

Poor stock availability

Item wasn’t in stock with no indication when ordering that this was the case. Several emails extending the delivery date so eventually cancelled.

Response from Staples ignores the fact that the site didn’t tell me it wasn’t in stock. If only they could learn to read

Shipping and communication is…

Shipping and communication is atrocious. I've ordered something that could simply be left outisde my house. They used DPD. I had no email saying anything would be delivered, no tracking information, nothing. Came home to a note frrom DPD saying I wasn't in - they'll be back in FOUR days. FOUR?? Well I've got work that day and I've had no emails from Staples or DPD and this is something I need pronto for my business to run smoothly. So they now think I shall be sat in all day on a monday not knowing any information?? Sounds like this item will be returned and I'll take my custom elsewhere. First and last order with this company.

Order tracking is available via your online account under the order history. If you are a DPD app user and have enabled the push notifications, you will receive a notification once the delivery driver is 30 minutes away from the delivery address. Fantastic service

Having made a mistake in ordering and paying online, I immediately contacted your customer care section. They dealt speedily with the problem despite the order already having gone to despatch. The only slight delay in refunding the payment was because the order needed to be called back. All this was explained and the refund duly received. Fantastic service.
