I couldn't be happier with my experience.
The laptop arrived very well packaged and was delivered promptly by DHL. I was genuinely delighted with the quality and condition of the Dell Latitude. It was described as Grade C, but in my opinion it was in far better condition than expected, almost like new. The battery health was also excellent, which was a real bonus.
There was one small issue when the wrong power lead was supplied. However, this is where Stone Refurb really impressed me. I contacted customer support and was dealt with by Marianne, who replied within minutes. She immediately arranged for the correct lead to be sent out by DHL, and it arrived the very next day. Mistakes can happen with any company, but it's how they're dealt with that really matters, and their customer service was outstanding.
From start to finish, the communication, professionalism and support were first class. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stone Refurb to anyone looking for a quality refurbished laptop. Based on my experience, they offer excellent value for money and genuinely outstanding customer service.

Please avoid broken laptop no communication from company
Please avoid! After reading good reviews I thought I would give this a go and order it. Have had nothing but hassle with this laptop! Within 40 minutes my battery is completely drained, half the buttons don’t work properly, the left and right click on the tracker very rarely work either. If I don’t have the charger plugged in even when it’s off the battery drains while off! My emails and phone calls have been ignored completely, absolute joke of a company!

I had a problem caused by myself and had to rebuild my PC. I raised a request for help and Christian phoned me back within the hour and helped and then followed up a few days later to ensure that my problem was resolved. Brilliant service

Having reviewed the correspondence, we can see that your enquiry was regarding receiving a dispatch email once it became available.
In our first response, we confirmed that your order was still being processed and advised that a dispatch confirmation email, including tracking details, would be sent automatically once the order had been shipped.
Our customer service team responded promptly and provided the most up-to-date information available regarding the status of your order, while also confirming that tracking details would be provided as soon as the order was dispatched. As your query had already been answered in our initial response, we are unclear as to why repeated emails were necessary, as a tracking number is always provided once an order has been shipped.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue to review our communications to ensure they are as clear as possible for all customers.
Most damaging purchase ever.
This is probably my most damaging purchase experience ever. Within months the Dell PC supplied reported a malfunction which it said it could not repair. The initial response from Stone was encouraging but places the total responsibility for protecting the contents on the purchaser. As the goods were faulty this should be Stones responsibility rather than a deaf old man in his eighties. The PC was returned but with all content comprising precious photos and important documents lost. In effect this is now of no use to me whatsoever. Unless you are fully computer literate do not conceivably consider using this firm but buy a new device.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding the support provided.
When your Dell PC initially developed an issue, we advised that a reimage of the system would be required due to the nature of the fault. At that stage, we also explained what this meant and highlighted the importance of ensuring any data was backed up before proceeding. As the device was signed into a Microsoft account, we additionally suggested checking OneDrive and any other cloud storage services that may have been syncing your files.
We also advised attempting to transfer any data from the original device if access was still available at that time. From the information provided, there were multiple potential backups in place, including an external Seagate drive and the original PC itself, which could have contained the files.
Unfortunately, it appears that the original drive was later destroyed for security reasons, and the external backup did not contain the expected data. While we fully appreciate how upsetting this outcome is, the loss of data in this case was not caused by the repair or reinstallation process itself, but rather the absence of accessible backups at the point the original device was no longer usable.
We completely understand that technical matters like this can feel overwhelming, particularly if you are not familiar with computer systems. Our intention throughout was to support and guide you as clearly as possible and to help prevent exactly this type of situation.
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused, and we remain available should you need any further clarification or assistance going forward.
