Would give them 0 if I could. Absolutely no transparency on the phone with the woman I initially spoke to.Looking at £220 per hour and they add a massive admin fee of 15%, charged me £400 basically for 5 minute job. Avoid at all costs. The guy who did the job also had no communication skills and just said “they will send you some costs” bit could not explain anything or string a proper sentence together.

Avoid at all cost. Did not fix the issue but charged me a large sum. When I called they said they couldn’t give me a price over the phone and would need to see the issue. But after they came, they decided to charge an hourly rate.

The worst experience with a company I have ever had. We came back from holiday and had a plumbing issue and in desperation we came across Swift Plumbers. On the phone, they said their call out charge was £69 which, although a lot, seemed easier to stomach compared to rates suggested elsewhere. They however hid the actual total fee, including an extortionate hourly rate, until the plumber was inside our flat. Total lack of transparency. The chap who came to fix the toilet in fairness was nice enough but the organisation is a disgrace, taking advantage of desperate, helpless people in a cowardly manner. The plumbing also did not fix properly - a total fee of above 500 quid including the call out fee, hourly rate, and VAT to not fix a problem and be manipulated.

I would strongly advise against using Swift Plumber. I was charged £850 for what turned out to be less than an hour of work to fix a boiler issue — work that not only failed to properly address the problem but introduced new, potentially dangerous faults. Since the so-called repair, my electricity bill tripled, the boiler started making a loud squealing noise, and the fuse switch began overheating.

I raised these concerns immediately, but despite multiple follow-ups, I was ignored. Weeks later, they remain completely unaccountable and now want to charge me again to fix what appears to be the result of their own shoddy work and a misdiagnosed fault.

Appalling service, zero responsibility, and no aftercare. Avoid at all costs. Have escalated to the ombudsman.

I can’t fault the young man who came to fix the leak on one raidiator. He did the job and it worked. We had a small leak on a raidiator and the call out was 59 pounds which I thought was fine he was here about wan hour and at the end of the day needed to get the job done as my severely autism grand son needed a bath it cost me £730 my grandson will have less this summer due to that extortionate amount for 1 hour we were desperate but really had no opption my grandson came first I would if I wasn’t so desperate never use this company again ☹️

Had a bad repair carried out on a water pipe for over £500 for a 10 minute job. Area was covered up and I’ve only just realised after finding wet patches all over the wall and floor that the repair has been leaking. Called and told them and they said I’d have to pay for them to come out and fix. I now have to pay to have their bodged repair fixed plus all the other issues it’s caused.

This company is a scam. Lady on phone quoted me £69 call out fee which seemed reasonable but denied to tell me that on top of this there would be £299/hour charge + 15% fee + VAT so i ended up paying £500+ for a plumber to come out to stop the initial problem of my toilet flush not working but then tell me I needed a new part which would be best to do that through a local plumber who was cheaper!! The next day the flush had the same issue so £500 was spent on nothing! I feel completely taken advantage of and would not recommend this company to anyway.

Completely I don’t suggest . They charge too much money . Deffinegly you need to go to local Plummer triple cheaper than this annoying company . Plummer always wasting time and trying to save time for himself . It was horrible day for us and of the day he tried to charge 1300 pound for 2 hours job. Horrible company I paid 900 pound it’s not fair . I never ever suggest this guys and company . DONT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE for your goodness.

Scam they charged My boyfriend £200 and they didn't even fixed the problem

Highly reccomend Swift plumbers. Quick and efficient (even with it being a bank holiday weekend) they did an absolutely fantastic job and I won't be using anyone else in the future.

Scammers! Only looking to charge customers without mentioning about the charges! They want to send engineers out to get the call-out fees at least! They wanted to bill me £345 per hour ex VAT + £85 call out charge inc VAT for a simple blocked drainage which I didn’t allow it and I fixed it within 10 minutes due to airflow problem. That could have caused a much costly problem if I allowed him to perform high pressure method despite I told him that the previous inspection mentioned the airflow problem. He told me it might take up to 2 hours so nearly £900 all together for a wrong diagnostic. Poor customer service too as the lady on the phone cut me twice as I asked her for an explanation! Stay away from this company! I lost £85 but I rather save a few people not falling in their trap!

They are unprofessional and provide no transparency whatsoever in relation to their prices. Do not call them.

Called Swift Plumbers in haste to fix a faulty boiler, fortunately it came back to life and I cancelled the call out 30mins later.

(I thought it odd it sounded like it linked to an oversees call when making the initial call)

They demanded call out payment, which i was initially acceptance of.

I received an invoice by text from a different company WE FIX 24 Ltd demanding immediate payment.

This was followed up two days later with a brunt phone call demanding payment and to send me a payment link. This raised suspicion.

They have since harassed continuously for payment.

This is why I am refusing to pay.

From scrutinising the website it is not, in fact local to me. The website is a sham front for a scam.

Swift Plumbers is not a registered company, it does not exist at the purported registered address of 7 Bell Yard, London, WC2A 2JR.

The pictures used on the website is actually a generic VW van from a mock up site where you can add your own livery onto a stock image. It does not exist.

Swift Plumber is not registered to Gas Safe despite it purporting to be and displaying the symbol on the website, representing fraudulent misstatement which would frustrate a contract.

They have falsified their trustpilot review score, again fraudulent misstatement

WE FIX 24 Ltd is registered to a house in Luton, its VAT reg is however registered to a one bed flat in London 173D Armitage Road.

WE FIX 24 Ltd is also not Gas Safe registered.

The sort code on the invoice goes to an international money transfer, not a UK bank.

The details of the engineer were abbreviated but Gas Safe is investigating from the information provided.

This is the same type of emergency plumber extorsion racket that has led to at least two criminal prosecutions and custodial sentences. So there is precedent that is reaches the legal threshold of it being a criminal enterprise.

I have reported it to Action Fraud, Gas Safe, Companies House and the Police.

It is an illegal racket being run by an Armarjeet Singh of 20 Wordsworth Road Luton.

It is evident they are trying to suppress the one star reviews by peppering Trustpilot with falsified and laughable 5 star reviews.

Please report this to the relevant bodies, enough people do we can hopefully see this individual prosecuted.

I contacted Swift plumbers today when I noticed the ceiling leaking in my storeroom. It was from the bath tub in the room above. I spoke to Alex who wasted no time in assigning a plumber immediately. Akmal, our amazing plumber arrived shortly afterwards and fixed the issue promptly. We cannot thank Akmal enough, he is both a friendly and patient person. He explained what the problem was and answered our questions. We recommend them for your plumbing needs. Thank you Alex and Akmal for rescuing us. You are the best!

If I could have chosen no stars I would have done. This company scams people's hard earned money, do not fix the issue and charges a fortune for the privilege.....they also stand over you in an intimidating manner when you query the fees and do not leave your home until payment is made. I had a slow leak under my kitchen sink......the operative was at my home for 15 minutes and diagnosed a faulty washer which he replaced.....whole experience cost me £380.....he then left and 4 days later I noticed the slow leak back in exactly the same spot. I called them and they refused to return unless I paid the call out fee plus charges for fixing.....as it wasn't leaking when he had left.......and he had video evidence to prove that on his phone. Very rude company, very intimidating people......upshot of this debacle is I called another company who came round.....spotted the issue and replaced the part......he showed me the washers and they were nothing like the one the chap had probably pulled out of his own pocket......60 quid later all done and hasn't leaked since. Swift Plumbing steer well clear, they are shockingly appalling and will definitely rip you off

Requested a plumber to come out to unblock a toilet.
They sent out a heating and ventilation engineer, despite knowing the toilet needed fixing, I even explained the specific issue as it is an ongoing problem with the property I am renting.
They sent 2 invoices within 5 minutes of each other at different prices.
The issue was not fixed... because what is a heating engineer meant to do with a blocked toilet?
I was left with flooding and a still blocked toilet after the engineer used what little he had in his van to try to fix the problem.
I called another plumber the next day who fixed the issue in under 10 minutes.
They are asking for £235 for sending out the wrong contractor and for flooding my bathroom with poo!

I would definitely recommend this company. I have nothing but praise to our engineer, Ionut Toma. We had to have sockets installed to a different place in our kitchen. Inout Donut went over the various options. He worked diligently and professionally. There was no.mess as he screened off area of the kitchen. The service offered was worth every penny. I will certainly be using this company again.

Horrible people. Avoid

As others have already confirmed, this is a scam organisation. I'm reporting them to Trading Standards and just hope they are closed down before anyone else is caught up in their practices.
