Recently i sold my late uncles house though Town & Country Property Auctions i received a fantastic service from Dewi he was very helpful from start to finish he kept me updated throughout the whole process i would highly recommend them if you need to sell a property at auction.

I had the misfortune to deal with Town & Country Auctions through the agent "Suzanne in France" in Sourdeval France.

I was in the process of buying a property in France pre-auction.

There was (and still is mis-information) on the agent and auction page about this property, saying that there are two attached barns, one either side of the house, when after much frustration and unanswered questions, I discover that there is actually one, this information was never changed and remains even now.
Also, the information on the distance from the property to the main road differs depending on what you are reading.

My experience of one of Town & Country's agents, and his insistence that I hadn't registered to buy, when I had, and had even input my card details on the registration page, and paid the €2,000 registration fee, (and then the further €4,000) was appallingly and resulted in my pulling out of the purchase.

Complete incompetence and lack of customer service is what I experienced from both the agent and auction house.

Buyers & sellers should be aware of the history of Town & Country & the reputation they left behind in Norfolk after they 'fled the country'. From all reports received from thier customers, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I hope their T&C's are investigated professionally.

All good charlie went above and beyond what they had to do to help me make the purchase in the time scale i had complete great service and communication would definitely recommend

BUYER BEWARE IF BUYING PROPERTY WITH THIS AUCTION HOUSE
Mis-sold and mis-advertising by TCPA. They advertised a certain rental income from a property they sold to me which turned out to be completely wrong. I have emails from them explaining rents. When I reached out to let them know rents were incorrect.
The auction said they dont check if rental yields advertised are correct, they just take the sellers word for it.
Me now lumbered with a property I have over paid for, they wont even refund the auction fees.

Totally rip off 6000 auction fees being invested by ombudsman all reported also not helpful after paperwork sent to lawyers at all and want to then charge you for information your legally aloud to ask should be shut dwn maybe this why they change names and move on as unregulated but let’s watch this space as I’m on their case for sure to protect others who may not be fortunate to fight this corner. Won’t ever buy again from these. Also this is a proper review not like others they ask people to write. ✍️
Wow rip off Britain even these auctions getting on band wagon were will it end be careful they even aloud to big against people to reserve so prices to draw you in avoid at all costs people bidding or selling don’t fuel them any longer.

His knowledge and experience meant that he did do so in a way that was in no way patronising or laboured. It made the whole process a lot less stressful than would otherwise usually be the case and we appreciated this.

Our first property purchase from Auction. Right from the first viewing to completion nothing was too much trouble. I could pick up the phone and speak to Paul if I had a question or if he was out and about I would email and always got back promptly.
