Being a landlord was causing me huge stress and headaches, I was desperate to sell my tenanted HMO property. I was anxious and often misunderstood the technical terms, but Callum was incredibly kind and reassuring, going above and beyond to provide a first class service. He even advised me on how to write a notice to my previous agent, which was very impressive. All members of staff were helpful and kind throughout the process. Further more, the solicitors at Town and Country property auction worked hard behind the scenes, ensuring the transaction was smooth and on time. I am very grateful to the whole team and highly recommend them.

I would not give 1 star. Purchased a property at auction and paid £7440 admin/reservation fee to the AUCTIONER. It turns out the seller (not the actual owner) did not have the paperwork so a completion was not possible. Asked for my reservation/administration fee back from the auction house but they refused. Several of these properties were sold in the exact same way at the auction and did not complete. Each buyer will have lost £1,000's and the Town and Country Property Auctions will have made £10,000's in one day and NO properties were actually sold. Very, very susceptible to fraud since the auctioneer acts for the seller and its so simple to do. Please note I obviously got the property deposit back

Very disappointing. Appointment made to discuss the value of my property at auction. I received multiple reminders of the time and date by email and text, the last being one hour before the scheduled time of the call. I received no call at any time. On contacting TCPA the day after asking for an explanation, it appeared that my complaint had been passed from a senior agent to a lower employee to contact me. That agent then revealed that the appointment process is managed by AI so I had been effectively summoned to the scheduled day and time multiple times by a machine. No human had dealt with the matter until I submitted my complaint the day after, and even then the agent who called me had no idea what the call was to be about. Totally unacceptable, TCPA, and I hope you didn't rely on AI to remove my information from your database as requested - it clearly can't be relied upon.

Paul at TCPA worked with our local agent to successfully auction a very special property, that had been in our family for generations. He was efficient and responsive from the outset, working closely with us to get the details accurate and out to the market promptly. We are very pleased with the result achieved in a difficult market and highly recommend TCPA if you are looking to auction.

I got a call back instantly from Hope when I sent an email at 8pm. So glad she called then as it led to us securing our dream home at the right price (with Hope’s negotiating skills) and within days. In today’s economic climate this is the way forward for buying and selling property. I can recommend working with Hope as she always answered messages in a timely manner and was a pleasure to do business with.

It is scary buying from auction, especially for the first time, but Paul made it easy. I would use TCPA again.

T&C are an amazing company, who went above and beyond when selling our house. Despite the procedure becoming drawn-out (due entirely to the buyer), they stayed in contact with us, chased solicitors, negotiated terms, made themselves available at short notice, even cancelled leave to get the sale completed. We can't recommend them highly enough.

It was my first time bidding on a property via an auction. Specifically Lloyd was someone I asked many many questions & every single time I rang to ask about the process etc he was always patient, kind & no question(s) I asked he never made me feel silly to ask. He was excellent for anyone nervous about the auction process and always responded quickly. Also Paul was very helpful & kind too. If your considering an auction property & they are the auctioneers they are certainly a very respectable and very helpful place to get a property through. They are genuinely nice professional people that run this auctioneers 10/10 highly recommend.

Very good communication. It was always easy for me to get hold of people and when they couldn’t answer they called back promptly. Denise in particular give very objective and impartial advice. I felt she was really helping me sell, rather than just doing her job. The North West office were good, although a little last minute with some requests for paperwork. Earlier identification of the issues could have averted some last minute panic. One of the challenges was that the buyers lawyer was a bit of a charleton who was trying to string out the process. I guess this must happen quite a lot
