Not transparent in its approach, with a noticeable lack of customer care. The process appears heavily weighted in favour of the seller, with little regard for maintaining a fair balance between both parties. Overall, the experience felt one-sided and not aligned with reasonable expectations of professionalism and impartiality.

Outstanding work throughout the whole sale process by Dan, backed up by the Auction House team. From the beginning he was sensitive to some complex issues, he wasn't pushy to get me to sign up and I felt I could trust him from the start. The house write-up did it proud and the drone shots, photos and videos showed it off really well. It was a fitting tribute to the house and to my family member who lived there. There were some unpredictable issues along the way which he handled really well. He was always available for advice. Then he got me a great price, whilst being helpful and fair to the buyers. Glad I sold the auction way, the price was very good and the process was fair and fast.

We had never thought of taking the house to auction but after three "offers" that went nowhere using the old estate agent route ("Thanks for accepting the offer but the kids have decided they want a newer house") we discussed with our agent, YourMove and they put us in touch with Sam Harris at Auctionhouse. Sam was brilliant talked us through everything and when we accepted an offer "bang" it was a confirmed deal and went ahead without a hitch. We still had solicitors so there was a bit of back and forth but the outcome was guaranteed. Joy.

We sold a property for the first time through auction and we chose Austin Gray based solely upon how helpful Adam Hinchcliffe was on our first enquiry (significantly superior service to that other auction houses that we contacted at the same time).

The process has been easy (even though the first sale failed to complete which was not to the fault of AG at all) and AG have been very informative throughout.

Would highly recommend.

It was my first Auction purchase. Romilly at Auction House was not only keeping me updated throughout the process, but she was available for any of my beginners type questions, from the go. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable with my purchase so I’ve gone from feeling cautious to looking forward to purchasing my next property with Auction House. I also found their fees very reasonable in comparison to some other Auction companies. Do check the buyers fees in the legal pack though - which were also low for my property.
