We recently brought an auction house listed by Austin Gray. The team were very thorough, professional and supported us through this process (of which this was the first time we had brought at auction).
I'd highly recommend the team and we're very happy!

Auction house did a great job selling my property in Nottingham. Such good communication from start to finish. Came to take photos of the property and the advert was up online the following day.

Still waiting for completion but everything has gone smoothly so far.

The property we purchased at auction via Auction House, was not possible to legally own after completion, so we were advised not to complete. We loose our fees and deposit, it’s now back for auction so someone else looses their fees and deposit when the seller snd Auction house now have full knowledge it’s not legally proceedable.

Kept informed at all stages, realistic expectations set, conversations on potential advanced bids meant we could make quick sensible decisions leading to a sale in advance of the auction, which suited us.

Great experience from start to finish. Communication via phone and email was virtually immediate which meant the whole process flowed very smoothly. In this day and age to be able to have a person who picked up phone, or responded personally to emails was very refreshing.

This was the first time I had sold a house at Auction and the process was explained to me in a very clear, concise manner, so that I totally understood after one phone call.

The initial call was on a Monday, I agreed to put the property up for auction on the Tuesday and Sophie had uploaded the property details and they were live on the Thursday and within a month the property had sold.

Very easy friendly to work with

Terrible service: a visit to their website to view one of their listings results in a torrent of nuisance emails pestering me to progress my enquiry which is very worrying. When one contacts them by messenger about it, they just send an auto-reply. When one contacts them by email about it, they just ignore you. It's not a very personal, or professional, service.
19/08/26 - Update- further to their reply, I have contacted them (after 3 weeks I hope third time lucky !) to ask for an explanation regarding the unsolicited emails: I shall post a further update when/if I have one.
