Although the bench we wanted was not in stock we were able to pre- order. The bench arrived on Saturday and its solid and looks amazing.
The customer service and help with delivery was just as good as the bench look and feels.

Not usually one for reviews but I felt like this occasion deserved some recognition. The service this company gives is first class, Everything we could of asked for and more.

Most delighted with the furniture we ordered and was well worth the wait. The chap who done our delivery was very helpful and such a nice person to talk with.

My wife and I ordered a furniture set and cushions, we called on a few occasions and had a list of questions the person we spoke to was more than happy to answer all our questions and even gave us some points we would not have even thought of.

I would not hesitate in recommending teak bench co to anyone. The furniture and service we got was great.

I bought a bench from the Teak Bench Company as a memorial bench for a family who recently lost their mother. The bench hadn't arrived before I was due to go on holiday and I needed the bench for the following Monday.

I called while away and spoke to Richard (my memory is shocking so I hope I got the name right). Anyway, he was fabulous. Being a fairly local company, (25 miles away) he helped me to arrange for the delivery that very day... not by courier... but by the man himself. You can't get better customer service than that.

Today I came back from my hols and put the bench together, very easily, with minimal assembly required and i must say I am very impressed. The bench is solid, well made and looks great.

A massive thank you for going out of your way to help. You certainly went above and beyond to put my mind at ease. I was able to.relax and enjoy the rest of my holiday.

I highly recommend the Teak Bench Company to everyone. In fact I will be shouting recommendations from the rooftops of Bury and I will certainly look to you in future!

Ordered a bench for a birthday present on the basis of the promised 3-7 day delivery service.

4 weeks later and I am both embarrassed to not be able to provide the birthday gift and angry with Richards excuses, lack of proactive contact and multiple broken promises following the 3x weekly calls I have made to him.

I have asked for a refund today which I am told will be processed within 7 days.

As per other poor reviews, there may well be problems with couriers but It doesn’t stop Richard from communicating and resolving them.

This review was very easily avoidable.

Since writing this review, Richard called to sincerely apologise and explain the logistical challenges he has been experiencing. The refund has been processed. He assures that changes have been made to resolve his delivery issues. He offered to send a bench free of charge but I have since ordered and had another bench delivered through another company.

After a shaky start with missed delivery dates, I cannot thank Richard enough for making a special delivery that took him about 12 hours driving to deliver and return.
The product is excellent and quite easy to construct the table.

Lovely bench, great service

We love our Lutyens bench. There were some issues with delivery which Richard resolved. I would recommend his company to family and friends.

Richard couldn't have been more helpful. He delivered our teak bench the day after we ordered it. We love the bench and are very impressed with the personal and friendly service.

Do not order from this company. I ordered a bench nearly 2 months ago and I never got my bench. Phone calls were not returned and various promises not fulfilled. I am still waiting for a refund promised 14 days ago. I order many things on line and have never experiences such bad customer service.

Really pleased with our teak garden bench; good quality and easy to put together. The order took longer than expected to arrive but I would certainly order from this company again.

The bench is very high quality. The customer service was fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and would purchase from them again.

I fully recommend this small private business. We ordered, it was delivered. The table & chairs set are well designed, well finished, sturdy. Dowelled and not screwed they look and feel the part. What is so good is the personal attention and help to gain assurance from the pleasant responsible owner manager.

Completely let down. I ordered a bench on 10th May and got no further contact after order placement. Chasing up after 2 weeks I was told it was a week delay and I’d get a call on Monday to organise delivery. Again no call so Wednesday another chase up call from me.....where Richard assured me he would call me back that day to tell me when I’d get delivery (as I said I’d want a refund if I didn’t hear back). It’s now Friday and I’ve had no contact. I’ll have to chase again tmrw for a refund. All the excuses of small company/let down by courier....doesn’t stop them communicating does it? This is a memorial bench for my grandfather, and the memory is just ruined with poor service.

Richard called after following up on this review and apologised, then arranged a swift delivery that week. Richard assures me new systems are in place. Quality of the item and finally delivery was great
