BMW X3 M40i 2020

I had an extremely disappointing experience with TEG repairs. Communication was great from the start however on WhatsApp, once the car was booked in, they collected and didn’t provide the address / location of the vehicle, the y then advised that the vehicle had additional issues thag the “apparently” discovered! I had to chase for updates. They offered me a solution of changing the engine which was refused and asked for the vehicle to be returned and when I finally got my car back, The cylinder head and other parts of the engine were taken apart stuffed in a box and left in the boot and when returning the vehicle it came on a trailer, now I was not informed of this and was horrified to find but that parts of the engine was in the boot and the battery disconnected. Nothing was operational so they had to take it off the trailer with the winch and smashed it into the curb damaging the wheel which is all caught on camera and has been sent to them via whatsapp which has been seen but l they have decided to completely ignore and not comment. Further, there’s a huge scratch approximately 6 inches in length was added at the back of the vehicle.

This has left me considerably out of pocket due to their negligence And had the audacity to charge me for the service

Overall, this was a frustrating and expensive experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to TEG Repairs.

I give my car for rebuild gear box and clutch, after when they took my car and found something new fault and they put my invoice more high and it took 3 week to repair and when the car is done, they are taking to long to delivery my ca. I keep ringing them everyday for my car, they are just saying the driver is on his way and I am waiting everyday for my car whole day. But no car delivery ........

After filling in an online enquiry form, I was contacted by Dan at TEG Repairs. He was friendly, transparent about costs, and clear with all the information regarding the repair. He also didn’t mind me asking a million questions, which really helped put me at ease, and I immediately felt comfortable booking my car in.

Dan arranged for my Discovery to be collected the next day, and that all went smoothly too, with a really lovely guy handling the collection.

This morning, Dan called to let me know that an additional repair was needed, which my dad, who is a mechanic, confirmed. Although my car is still with them and the work isn’t yet complete, I have to say that so far, I’d really recommend TEG.

Finding them meant I didn’t have to wait weeks for an appointment with Land Rover, and I’ve saved so much money. I also think it’s great that they collect and deliver your car, which is incredibly helpful as a busy working mum.
