The Black Farmer Avis 

The food offerings are always looking delicious. I’ve sent pies & sausages to my brother in Devon. It works out well, I live in US. He’s enjoyed the meals so far

I really like the black farmer sausages, but the packaging is spoiling the product, it’s in 2 sections and the middle 2 are squashed and out of shape, having arthritis in my hands it’s impossible to to manipulate them back into shape, making it hard to cook evenly, I did contact their customer services about this issue, and wasn’t really satisfied with their response so a bit of a waste of money,
so I tried the Jolly hog sausages which are in 3 sections and not deformed in shape, and actually I now prefer them as easy to cook evenly and I don’t waste my money having 2 deformed sausages

I'm happy with the overall customer service provided. I'd definitely recommend to friends and family. Also, I'm looking forward to visiting the new flagship, Black Farmer shop that was recently opened in Brixton this year/2024.

The ready meal was just that! It was a real west indian mutton curry, and I enjoyed it very much. Well done Sir, your shop is a credit to you, your food a credit to the heritage we both share.

The food is excellent, well presented and my order arrived on time.The taste ,so good and well packed.

The order was packaged beautifully and the products were delicious.

I was kept informed about my delivery date which meant I could ensure that someone was at home to receive the package. On opening the box, everything what packaged beautifully, my sausages felt as if I had just taken them out of my fridge, all in line with the Food Standard Agency. There was also a card with a message from Wilfred. It's a must that I visit the shop in Brixton after missing the grand opening, I'm hoping to visit next month. Great job!

The products were very nice and tasted good 👍.

I would have given 5 but I was disappointed with the quail and the nails on the chicken feet. However, I was sent a refund which if the truth be known I felt bad about. I was also told to ask for the nails of the chicken feet to be removed on future purchase.
I do appreciate your professionalism and great customer service. It’s also nice to see you have taken notes from my suggestions and have asked to pass on any other I might see fit. I will certainly try the chicken sausages, they look delicious.

You failed to deliver the order for a haggis’s which affected our dinner party plan!

My favourite pork sausages are The Black Farmer premium pork sausages with a blend of herbs and spices (gluten free). They taste wonderful and there's not much fat in them:) I always grill my sausages. After grilling them on the outside, I cut them in half along their length and grill the insides. Once grilled, I wrap them in a sheet of kitchen roll or tissue and press on them to remove excess fat. I do this with all the sausage brands. The Black Farmer sausages only yield a small amount of fat:) I only buy other brands if the supermarket is out of stock of Black Farmer;)

Excellent produce. Website easy to access, products arrived on time and well-wrapped. Will definitely use again.

Excellent service - ordered the gammon, bacon and sausages. Bacon and gammon particularly good. I did the gammon in coke and it was very good indeed as a Christmas treat.

I was less keen on the Saxon sausages as they were uneven in size and a bit solid but the kids polished them off.

Forget the popcorn - I sent a Christmas Family grill box of racks of pork ribs (1 rack per person), jerk sausages and assorted crisp flavours. Not your typical Christmas hamper but original, nicely presented and well received - perfect for a festive holiday movie nights.
