A very smooth and easy process from…
A very smooth and easy process from first contact to conclusion. Jack hall was a pleasure to deal with. We agreed a price and that was the amount that I received. No quibbling or tyre kicking at the handover of my car. Just a review of the paperwork, and a quick once over of the car and the transfer of funds. The collection was completed in under an hour from start to finish. They sorted out the outstanding finance for me aswell so it was a quick professional experience I would recommend The Car Buying Group to anyone looking to sell their existing car.

I called the car buying group regarding taking my vehicle off my hands and I spoke with Megan Sykes, who was so wonderful and helpful in my sale of the car, Megan explained everything in detail of how the transaction would happen and even got me a raise in the price to what I asked for, Megan is a person that goes above and beyond to help you in the sale of your vehicle, I will say that Megan is an asset to the company and deserves recognition and appreciation for how Megan deals with customers and puts their mind at ease.

Offered a ‘guaranteed’ price and then reduced it massively on collection, after I had taken the day off to be at home to meet them. I acted in good faith and believe that they did not. The guy who came to collect me told me that they do this every single time. Without fail. Do not trust this company.

We absolutely do not have a policy of reducing offers “every single time” — our aim is always to honour the agreed price where the vehicle matches the description given. If you've been told otherwise by a collection agent, that will be looked into.

Kept me informed throughout the sale, was very professional, polite and explained everything fully about the process and payment. Really happy with the offer Connor got for my car.
