good service

From choosing to delivery was expertly done
Chiswick shop was great helped us choose they had great knowledge
Delivery was 4 weeks early
Had to be left in hall as legs needed to be taken off went in very easily at that point reassembly was no problem at all
One damaged leg on Delivery told shop one week later new leg arrived
Went for 4 seater lola in leather
Very pleased

Poor quality of the cushion interiors

Poor quality of the cushion interiors. They go very saggy and soft after a couple years of use. However, these only have 1 year warranty (I wonder why), so they change you on average £150 per cushion interiors to replace them. Unfortunately they replacements are as poor quality as the originals so you have to spend money every 2 years to keep the sofa comfortable

We're sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the interiors for your sofa. I can see that you have had the sofa for 5 years and in that time we have replaced the interiors once. All of our interiors are tested to ensure they exceeds industry standard's. The longevity of the interiors will vary based on the individual use and conditions.

We monitor our complaints closely and have not noticed any trends in failures of seat interiors.

High quality items

High quality items. Sofas are very cosy and delivery was professional.

I emailed Lounge Co a few times regarding a change of address and change of delivery date and they were prompt and helpful in all their replies.

Great range and quick service

We visited lots of sofa shops and sat on A LOT of sofas. We found what we were looking for at The Lounge co and it was cheaper than some of the other options too - good value for money.
The delivery arrived exactly as expected and on time.
I'd have preferred a slightly wider range of fabrics and colours. But otherwise it was a great experience.

Lola Sofa Delivered Early & Great Quality

Ordered free fabric swatches, which arrived very quickly. We were told 12 weeks delivery but was ready in around 7 weeks. Delivery was on time with plenty of updates during the delivery day.

Beware - dreadful delivery times

I ordered a sofa bed from this company on 11 July 2023 and was quoted an approx delivery of 5 weeks (around 14 August)
They then contacted me and said it would be delayed until W/E 13 October. (They offered 10% discount for such a long delay)
They then contacted me again and said it would be delayed further until 23 October! Over 4 months waiting for a sofa bed to be delivered. Completely unacceptable
I had no confidence in them meeting the new date so I cancelled the order and bought a sofa bed from a competitor and it was delivered in less than 3 weeks

Most of our furniture is made in our own factories however sofa beds are made by a specialist sofa bed manufacturer. Unfortunately, our manufacturer has had significant operational challenges which has caused the delays that you experienced. We understand how disappointing this is.

Fantastic chairs

Fantastic chairs. Some issues with delivery damage but the team at TLC were excellent, responsive, professional and stuck with us until the problem was fully resolved. Sometimes things go wrong, and thats when you see a company's true colours. TLC came through and we love the chairs. Good quality, look great. Thank you to the team for great support.

So Comfortable

Staff in store were so helpful. This is the second sofa we’ve purchased from The Lounge Co. It’s so comfortable and we love it. Delivery was much sooner than expected, which was great!

A good sofa but bad communications around delivery

Staff were helpful when we chose our sofa in the Chiswick store. Communication while we were waiting for delivery of the sofa several weeks later was more frustrating, as it wasn't ready in the week they had told us it would be, and they seemed unwilling to commit to a day it would be ready, passing responsibility to the courier.

The couriers themselves were even more frustrating, and I would strongly suggest LoungeCo switch supplier for this. We got two inaccurate messages from Rhenus the courier on the day of delivery, making us wait at home for a delivery that didn't arrive. When I called the driver directly, he was miles away and still had several deliveries to make before ours - he was equally baffled by his office giving us such inaccurate information. He and his colleague delivered and set up the sofa perfectly, however.

The sofa seems great thus far but it's only been a couple of weeks so you'd have to check with us in a few years to see if it's stood the test of time...

We give an estimated lead time on the website when you order but we will not be able to give an accurate date for delivery until the furniture is complete. Our couriers send a booking SMS when they receive your furniture.

Our Customer Experience Manager has reached out to try and understand what went wrong with your delivery so that we can try and make improvements in future.

Excellent Customer experience from start to finish!

I want to start this review by expressing how much i hate choosing sofas! I am clueless when it comes to fabric choice, size, style etc. My old sofa was looking a little shabby and dated so I couldn't put the hunt for a replacement off any longer. Google searched sofas and I discovered the Lounge Co.

Went along to their Showroom in Chiswick, West London. I was greeted by Helen and Momo. They both made an experience I was dreading a real pleasure. They really knew their stuff and seemed genuinely invested in my project. If anybody from the Lounge Co reads this review, could you be sure to pass my thanks onto the guys at Chiswick as they went above and beyond!

Dealing with The Lounge Co has been seamless. From placing the order to taking delivery has gone without a hitch. If you're thinking of trying these guys out I would recommend you do so!

The sofa is excellent, it's just the delivery.

The sofa, a large corner one, is lovely. Gorgeous in fact. So comfortable and feels really sturdy yet soft and inviting. I'm sure, one day, the delivery will mellow in my mind. It did, however, give me a great story for after dinner speeches.
Rhenus Home Delivery took one look at our terraced doorway and said "We can't get it in there".
Lets get it out of the van and see the problem, I asked. The sofa had a wrap around plastic bag with all the cushions inside, making it rather large.
Let's take the cushions out and it'll make the job much simpler, I said.
"No, no, no"! I was told, "we can't unwrap it outside"!
I realised I was going to have to take them through a condensed course on dynamic problem solving, positive thinking and customer relations.
"Right" I said, "firstly, this sofa is going to get up those 4 steps and through that doorway, you can either leave it all here on the pavement and watch me struggle by myself, or you can help"
I started to remove the plastic bag holding it all together, when I was grabbed by the arm and told I can't do that.
"Ok, I understand you may have some sort of policy to not unwrap items outside, but it's a beautiful day, this is going to happen and you may even film me doing it, to cover yourself"
Once I took out the cushions and carefully took each one inside, the weight of the sofa halved and they easily got through the door, still in it's own plastic wrapping.
The sofa, being a corner one, had a second section with all the same issues. They had taken their training well, and let me get on with it.
It's amazing what can be achieved with positive thinking.
I'd definitely get more furniture from The Lounge Company, but I'd negotiate who they use for their delivery.

Love our sofas!

I order a Bronwyn sofa and snuggler through furniture village. They arrived on time and we love them. They look amazing and are so comfortable. We had a terrible experience with DFS sofas recently and the quality of the Lounge Co is so much better. The customer service from Esther was fantastic too.
