I chose the course option primarily to avoid the points, and am also pleased I attended rather than taking the possibly easier option of the online version. I found the 2 trainers to be very engaging and knowledgeable. The attendees interaction was surprisingly enjoyable and I picked up some useful pieces of information that I'd possibly forgotten or not known and will definitely be watching speed more carefully in future.

The invigilator was excellent, very professional and approachable. I was never in doubt about anything he said, instructed, questioned or answered. The 3 hours went by very easily.

The course was very informative. The instructors demonstrated very good knowledge.

Experienced trainers, very useful knowledge shared about how to be more aware of the speed limits for different roads and the risks associated with going too fast based on Thatcham research.

The class was very interesting. I learnt so many things I didn't as a driver. I would also recommend the class as a compulsory course for every driver in the UK. This platform, too, is Fantastic platform for training and knowledge transfer.

A comprehensive course for speed awareness.

Easy to book, many flexible options, content is delivered clearly and with knowledge. A good length of course to cover the key points and to come away with improved knowledge and awareness.

Judith was the instructor on our Speed Awareness Course last Friday. She was very friendly but professional, she encouraged everyone to participate. Being in my 80's I found the course very informative. I thought the video clips were very good, where we were asked what happened next.

The two presenters were professional ,knew what they were talking about , involved those attending by their positive and friendly manner. They dealt with questions admirably.

The course was interesting and very informative, the increase in stopping distance is something most people are aware of but not the speed you’re still travelling at when you pass the point where you would have stopped was quite startling. Also the time saving is much less than you think.

It was very relaxed the people who attended were very nice and friendly the tutors who were taking the lesson were really good explained everything well was very clear and I enjoyed it.

Engaging Tutor. Useful information on the impact of speeding. Raising awareness of speeding issues that I had not fully been aware of before - considering myself to be a careful, considerate urban driver and rarely used motorways. Many friends and colleagues with whom I have spoken about this - having been horrified to be caught speeding - have been through this process and were positive and encouraging as I attended the course. Lessons learnt!!

I feel like it was really good to have a refreshing new look at my driving and the tutors were really polite and very knowledgeable, the course was a real eye opener 👌

Patronising, preachy, tedious.
Three hours of being spoken to like a child, and repeatedly shamed for our 'crime' of speeding.
Apparently the £billions caused annually by road accidents was our fault too.
Told we didn't have to fill in the worksheet, then told we 'won't be going home' if we didn't fill in the last question.
Clearly a money-making exercise
Next time I'm taking the points.

Excellent presenters, good pace and space for engagement. Built good rapport with participants, no small feat given the context, covered the ground clearly and I for one definitely learned some important things of which I was unaware. Made the three hours pass quite quickly.

Great course, very informative!!!

I attended a “what’s driving us course “ recently and was very surprised that one of the tutors, Dave, was so unprofessional.
First of all he was making ageist remarks and then when he was going around checking the ID’S he said “you don’t want to be here” because I didn’t fully engage with him as the course had started and I was listening to what the other tutor was saying. Later on in the course when we were discussing behaviour when driving he came over to me and said “you look like an ANGRY person!!!!!”. I was flabbergasted, embarrassed, shocked, insulted and upset at this comment. He assumed that this was my character without knowing me and in a room full of 20 people.
This man could do with some re-training, on how to phrase his questions especially how he speaks to women as there were two other women who also were unhappy with his behaviour. I would not recommend this course if this rude man is the tutor and would have left if I was able as it is not my usual practice to go somewhere to be insulted on more than one occasion.

The session was very interactive and the tutor Daniel ensured we all participated, injecting humour into his guidance and instructive feedback. Painless!

Completed a speed awareness course on Saturday. The tutor was excellent very informative and friendly refreshed a few things that I totally forgot over the years of driving brillant alternative to just having points and a fine

I found the course to be an really good reminder and promotion of good driving. As one who has been a tutor of adults and spent many years officially assessing tutors of adults I found the tutor 'Jen' to be very highly skilled in all aspects of engagement, delivery and assessment of the participants.
