Multi Award winning Biltong at its very best, we are delighted to of been crowed not only Dabbers Den winners in 2018, but we can add to the list "Best Small Food Producer in Cheshire" after an historic awards evening in Chester in April 2019. Once again we are delighted to of been recognised not just for our stunning range of products but also how we conduct our business. Add a few more like now Nantwich Show Small Producer Award, South Cheshire Small Business Award and now crowned with a Great Taste Award. We are possibly the most multi decorated Biltong Company you can find. We are delighted to say we are the very first UK based company to have enrolled on the NFUs Back British Farming campaign. Back British Farming is the NFU’s public-facing campaign, driving support for the British food and farming sector through simple actions like buying British produce, enjoying the countryside responsibly, and spreading the word with friends and family. And now we only use 100% Renewable energy in all our products which we believe is another first for any Biltong Company in the UK we really do lead the way not just in flavour selection but innovation also. We do all we can when its comes to environment this includes our purpose built show stand been made from 100% Recycled products and now looking at the addition of Solar Panels to our purpose built facility in Cheshire. Take in to account as well 7 generations of Farming Knowledge and family History from South Africa we really think the experience we have in our blood adds up to something truly unique. Great biltong and brilliant customer service
I purchased one of the 2.5kg packs with mixed flavours and not only is it delicious, but when I had a problem with one of the packs I immediately received a call back from the owner who solved it for me. Really appreciate the great customer service and will be purchasing a lot more in the future.

Short Dated
The Beacon Sparkles I ordered arrived on time and no issue there at all. However, they arrived on 1st November 2024 with an expiry of December 2024 - this wasn't ideal to see.

Hi
Thanks for taking the time out to leave a review about what we.
Looking at the same batch that your order came from the Best Before Dates are the 21st December and the 15th December. Your order was placed on the 29th October and received by you on the 1st November.
We only have one batch of each flavour you received and these were the longest dated ones we have, these were received form our importers the week before on the 23rd October. When we order form importers we can only get what stock they have with the dates they have on them. We would love to able to get longer BBD dates on all our products but sadly due the nature of importing it can be a challenge from time to time.
Also please remember the Best Before dates are only a guide as to when they should be consumed. See below quote from the EHO re Best before dates.
"The best before date, sometimes shown as BBE (best before end), is about quality and not safety. After the best before date listed on a product, the food will be safe to eat but may not be at its best. Best before dates appear on a wide range of foods including:
frozen foods (such as peas, chips and ice cream)
dried foods (such as pasta and rice)
tinned foods (such as baked beans and canned tomatoes)
cheese
The best before date will only be accurate if the food is stored according to the instructions on the packagin".
Not to be confused with Use by Dates which are are about safety and not quality.
Also we offer a full refund on any product your not happy with (Must be unopened and in the same condition it left us in) see our T and Cs. If you wish to take this up with us please return to

The best and most reasonably priced jerky I've ever purchased. Ordered 4 flavours, including the chilli and I still have PTSD to this day due to how spicy it was. The standard salt and pepper is amazing, but the salt and vinegar was a delicious surprise! Would highly recommend.

Hi Aby
Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review about what we do, granted it's left us a little confused.
You kindly placed an order with us for an item sadly we didn't have stock to complete (some times this happens) and we were unable to gain stock any time in the near future, so at the earliest convenience we emailed you to let you know and processed a full refund so you could source your items elsewhere.
Would we like to thank you for highlighting how quickly and professional we deal with situations such as this. Please do let us know if you believe we could of dealt with this situation in a more appropriate way. Bearing in mind we had no stock of the item and could not source any in the immediate future.
Many thanks for looking up a small family business.
