Wes did a great job
Wes did a great job, really helpful & friendly, efficient & minimum fuss replacing a partially fallen & broken cast iron gutter with UPVC for what I'd consider a very reasonable quote.
Worth also mentioning the quote via Tom and communications were also very good, straightforward quote (reasonable from the start so no negotiation needed), 2 visits, one to measure up & a 2nd to do the work - all very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Mos turned up promptly and got to the leaking gutter straight away, it wasn’t straightforward as it was a mixed gutter half round and square. However a proper conversion was made in no time at all. The service was quick and professional. The day following it rained heavy and the joint was perfectly dry. I can certainly recommend Toms Gutters and Mos.

Avoid this company at all cost
Avoid this company at all cost. They originally came out to fix a bracket then told us we needed 2 more new brackets which he didn't have on the van so said he would have to rebook the job in no problem. Different guy arrives 2 weeks later put up the new brackets caused a leak which wasn't there before said he didn`t have the part on the van to put it right but would call back later to fix it. Paid him in good faith never came back got a message to say they would put it right at an extra cost to us. Not very good customer service

We’re sorry to hear that the customer feels disappointed, however we would like to clarify the situation and explain our side of events.
On our initial visit, we were asked to clear the downpipe and reconnect the guttering. The downpipe was completely full, and we cleared it as requested. We also reconnected the guttering, completing the work that had originally been requested and paid for.
During this visit, we identified that the guttering also required realignment and that additional brackets were needed. We arranged a second visit to carry out this work, which was quoted and charged separately as an additional job.
We always stand by our workmanship and provide a guarantee on the work we carry out. However, the subsequent issue with the downpipe was not caused by our workmanship. The existing running outlet supplied by the manufacturer was not compatible with the customer’s existing downpipe, meaning an adapter was required to make the two components compatible.
When the customer contacted us regarding the issue, we did not simply dismiss the matter. We returned to the property to investigate and water-test the section to establish what was causing the problem. It was then identified that the existing running outlet was not compatible with the downpipe and that an adapter was required.
When we explained this to the customer, they felt that they had already paid for the downpipe work and therefore believed this should be included. We explained that the original payment covered clearing the blocked downpipe and reconnecting the existing pipework, which had been completed. Any repairs, replacement parts or additional work required would be chargeable separately.
We always try to keep our costs as reasonable as possible and avoid charging customers unnecessarily. We also honour our guarantee where an issue is related to our workmanship. In this instance, however, the additional work was required because the existing manufacturer’s running outlet was incompatible with the existing downpipe. This was an issue with the pre-existing fittings rather than something caused by the work we had carried out.
We are disappointed that this has resulted in a negative review, particularly as we did return to investigate the concern and water-test the section before explaining what was required to resolve it.
We hope this response provides some clarity and gives a fair and accurate representation of the events from our side.
Great Service
Just had our gutters cleaned and repaired by Tom's Gutter service, and I can highly recommend their services. From the first contact to the actual gutter clean the whole service was excellent. Lewis, who did the job, arrived on time and was professional, courteous, and efficient and completed the work in good time. Tom's Gutters provided a professional efficient service at a fair price.
