Easy to Arrange, Exactly What I Needed
I’ve just taken out public liability insurance for my new mobile automotive locksmith business and I’m very pleased with the cover provided.
The policy was easy to arrange, clearly explained, and includes everything I need to trade with confidence. As a sole trader starting out, it’s reassuring to have proper insurance in place without any hassle.
I’d happily recommend this insurer to other tradespeople looking for straightforward and reliable cover.

Endless sales pestering by Trade Direct
I did not enjoy or needed the bombardment of chasing reminder emails and several phone calls in last month prior to my insurance cover expiry. I advised the first caller exact timeline when I will be looking into policy renewal, despite that Trade Direct kept calling, sending text messages and emails to sales pitch for renewal. I did not authorise this when I purchased last policy a year ago. You should be more professional, listen, take note and have some respect for your customers!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re genuinely sorry for the experience you’ve described.
We appreciate you letting us know your renewal timeline, and we apologise that this wasn’t respected. We understand how frustrating repeated calls, emails and messages can be, and we’re sorry if our contact frequency felt intrusive rather than helpful. That’s certainly not the level of service we aim to provide.
Your comments have been shared with the relevant teams so we can review our communication processes and ensure customer preferences are noted and followed more carefully going forward.
Thank you again for raising this. Feedback like yours is important in helping us improve.
