I Recommend Trafalgar
I have been using Trafalgar now since 4th November 2024 and have been paid every week on time and the communication on my pay day is great. I get notified of my payment each week via a text early in the day, my payslip is then emailed to me and is also uploaded into my Trafalgar online account, and my wage payment will then follow the notification. Everything works well, and I'm very pleased with the the way Trafalgar process and pay my payroll each week. I've not needed to call in, as I'm always paid on time, thanks for the great service.
I can also see my contracts in my Trafalgar online account, which is very helpful, as I know where to find everything to do with my employment. I've got another 6 or so months left, and hope to get extended, and will remain with Trafalgar.

Really bad service from A to Z
Really bad service from A to Z. Trafalgar/Danbro do not know the HMRC regulation and even when confronted with explicit HMRC texts they refuse to accept their mistakes, increasing your tax rate with no reason. They also charge fees that were never part of the contract, and the worst is that they try and force you to make false statement to HMRC even knowing that the statements they request are false. Avoid them!

Whilst we appreciate that compliance processes may sometimes feel complex, they are essential to maintaining accuracy and fairness for all our customers.
The fee you mention in your review was outlined in the expense guide and terms of agreement, which you signed before any claims were submitted. To clarify, the fee covers the additional administrative work required to manually check and process expense claims. It is an optional service and does not form part of your main contract. Submitting claims directly to HMRC remains an alternative for customers who prefer not to use this service.
We also note your feedback regarding the communication of our processes. We’d like to reassure you that our team made every effort to address any concerns and provide clear explanations through detailed correspondence and multiple telephone conversations. We, therefore, regret that our efforts did not lead to a resolution you were satisfied with.

Nice and personal service
I have been using Trafalgar as my Umbrella Company since 2006 and have always been very happy with their service. I always get paid promptly and they provide a nice and personal service - so can only highly recommend.

Great service helpful friendly staff, will help as much as they can with queries or problems previously with a different contractor who were unsatisfactory but Trafalgar are star quality

Second time using Trafalgar and I won’t…
Second time using Trafalgar and I won’t be a returning customer. Constant issues with incorrect tax coding, inconsistency with pay amounts received and holding funds for two days and not being paid until after five pm despite the funds being issued the previous working day before 8am. The fees certainly do not warrant the service provided.

Nice and easy experience of 5 years!
Used Trafalgar for over 5 years - worth every penny. Taking the stress out of having my payroll done, calculated, paid in on time every single week, without having to do any of the hard stuff. Whenever a query or issue was had, it was very quick and easy to sort it out with the very helpful office staff (Frankie especially, who bless her, emailed me on a handful of times to remind me I had forgotten my timesheet - something she didn't have to do as it's my responsibility!) who go the extra mile and reply in a timely manner.
If they weren't as good as I say, I wouldn't have used their services for 5 years! :)
I took a perm job which is why I'm moving away from Trafalgar, but thank you again!
The only slight issue was for some reason, my online portal account didn't ever seem to work and couldn't submit my timesheets through it, like others, which would have made things even easier, but honestly, it's not like the process is hard anyway!
