Very poor experience from a company who are only interested in taking your money and the Scottish government insist you use them.
Service is non existent using an overseas call Centre whose staff seem to be working from home with the background noise levels.
And do not expect them to help you at all.
Just a rip off at every level and condoned by UK government.
I have never had to deal with a company as bad as this. I have not received an invoice number or even a ackowledgment from booking my hotel quarantive online 2 weeks ago. Trying to ring and speak to someone takes over 30 mins sometimes and they then keep you on hold for over 20 mins. When someone does answer the person barely speaks English and the line is never clear. They then ask you all the details again despite saying they have your booking.
My flight is now going to have to rebooked with less than 24 hours and which will incure extra fees. company is a joke and there is nothing i can do but pay for another flight and hope a number arrives next time. Lastly my last call which was answerd after 13 mins they say hello and then hung up. There should be an option for 0 stars.
I don't write reviews but I was compelled to do so by the incompetence of this company. I have been calling them for the last 4 days to process my booking and have recieved the same response, "try tomorrow". My flight is in 30 hours time, I don't have anymore tomorrow's left. I'm anxious about our tickets. We are a family of eight consisting of children and grandparents and feel like we have been hung up to dry. No communication on the emails they have given. No help on the phones. Waiting for 30 mins at a time only for someone to hang up. I can't belive our government would use a company that has this level of poor customer support. If the UK government wanted to further humiliate and create a sense of abandonment to its minority class, it certainly has achieved that by using these guys. Poor, poor, poor!
I am still in complete shock and disgust,I have been calling ctm for the last 8 days chasing up the hotel confirmation,each time I was assured I would receive it closer to my flight,3 days before I call 3 times told the same,again2 days before the same each time the "advisor" is either watching TV,arguing with her mother,cooking or arguing with her husband!!!! On the day I was to travel with my 3 children they told me there was no availability and hung up,I lost all my ticket money,not to mention the covid tests I had taken plus my son had to have emergency travel documents made which also expired I am left high and dry with no money,my husband has passed away and I am barely hanging on,I needed to get back home now I don't know when I will be able to,who will take responsibility for this? Someone needs to take action against this company
Very unprofessional and poor service uneducated people hired by UK gov to deal with people we are paying £1750 to stay in hotel for 10 days because our country has been put into red list but spreading covid is not our fault yet we are treated like prisoners even worse than them. Bojo n matty should take an action against these B******* instead filling their pockets
Tried to book the managed quarantine hotel for my sister as she is being forced to quarantine on her return to the UK. Rather than being an online booking system, they make you fill a form in and you have to wait for them to get back to you. With the booking, you cannot board a flight to UK even if you are British. It has been more than two days now and no response from CTM. When I called their helpline it connected to someone in India who sounded like he was sitting in the back of a rickshaw in traffic and we could barely hear each other. He said he will contact the UK team but he does not have direct contact and has to contact them on Live Chat and he does not know when they will get back to him. He said it will take more than 48 hours even though my sisters flight is just 2 days from now. The UK government is responsible for using such a terrible company for this forced quarantine service.
To be honest, the managed quarantine method is flawed and ineffective because of people arriving from different countries on the same airline. For exampe, I am transiting through Switzerland on my return which is on the amber list. People will board on the same flight as me from Switzerland to the United Kingdom. Which means we would be on the same aircraft in a confined space and when they arrive from Switzerland, they do not need to be in managed quarantine but still high-risk having been around people from a red list country. This renders the entire managed quarantine system as completely ineffective as people from amber listed countries will have been near to people from red list countries. Therefore, either everyone arriving in the UK should be in managed quarantine or nobody at all.
Please, I am in Egypt currently. One flight was cancelled and the second one I was not allowed to board because of the Passenger locator form. I have booked and paid for the quarantine hotel but still no reference number. I can’t afford to miss another flight. Any advice. CTM answered and then the call cut. And I’m still trying
I was not sent my invoice after calling for 5 days straight and even at the airport I was calling for my invoice and didn’t receive it which made me miss my flight due there lack of communication skills and have no discipline. Every time you give them a task to do they will end the call without saying anything and when you ask for complaints office number they speak in a rude manner and cut the call I have been mentally tortured because of these illiterate agents and been put in depression after suffering a loss of money and my flight. They put you in long ques up to 2-3 hours wait and they will answer ask your request if it is too hard for them they’ll just end the call and make you go through the same cycles again these lot have no sympathy for people stuck in other countries and trying to return home please sort this out I wish I could rate them below 0
Just shocking service. No responses on emails or tweets. Calls the help desk produce only promises and lies. Could not be worse

I'm not even bothered to write a long review. Everything everyone has said is true. CTM are crooks. They are criminals. They DON'T want you to get through to them.
If someone is to create a course on how to scam legitimately then this company can be used as the perfect case studies. Don't know how (very likely using an influence or expensive gifts), they secured the contract to place travellers into the UK into hotels for mandatory quarantine. Call centre operatives in India using poor quality internet call packages will put you on long holds only to provide the wrong answers. What is supposed to be a mandatory booking before you can even board the flights have not been processed a few hours before we leave for the airport. Dozens of calls and many emails leading to false promises - all yielding to no results. And we are about to miss our flights. Spoken to dozens of people and they all share the same opinion and experiences. A shame for the UK government to make something mandatory and then leaving the supply to some scammers like them.
What a Joke this mob are. Provide a phone number that no one answers with message " thank you for waiting your call is important to us" aye right! on hold two days on the trot for over an hour each time until my patience ran out. No response to emails just a farce. Would avoid this mob at all costs. Quick to take your money £210 but shambolic at following up. Stay well clear
Joke of a company ran recommended by a joke of a goverment. Had to call 4 times to only to be put through to people who could barely put a word of english togather. After 3 hours of trying to book a room I gave up. The UK goverment is truly an embarrassment to the world.
Tried to call their call centre to see where my tests were given that I see none arriving on day two. I have been waiting for ages “your call is important to us...” LOL

What a rubbish company. How can we book hotel for quarantine when the portal never work these guys never answer the phone or reply to the emails. Whyis Govt not taking any action about it.
Absolutely disgusted by the service. Me and my family had to go to Pakistan for a family emergency. Pakistan was then put in the Ted list meaning we had to book the hotel quarantine. So I went into the website to book, however the website cannot cater for a family of 6 and therefore advised to call them or email them. I did both. Surprisingly on the day of the announcement of Pakistan going into the red list they answered after 30 mins. Told me their systems were not updated and to wait after Easter to make the booking. They also told me to change my flights from Manchester to Heathrow. Also told to phone as I wouldn’t be able to book a family room over the internet. So it’s now been over a week. I have flights booked for the 20th, I’ve sent them all information by email and have not any response regarding the booking. Just a generic email to say leave it with us somebody will be in touch. Now I have days until my flight and still no confirmation. And they don’t answer the phone at all. I’ve called over and over again. I’ve emailed them again. But nothing. Now I’m in a dilemma because if I don’t get the quarantine hotels booked I can’t fly. So will have to spend money to change the dates. This is disgusting as people have had legal and legitimate reasons to travel. Yet this company is making money from people who are in very sensitive and desperate situation. CTM if you are reading this I would greatly appreciate if someone would get back to me ASAP. And also believe me when I get back I will be contacting the trading standards. This is an emergency and you are meant to be 24 hours. This is not professional at all.
absolutely appalling customer service - DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY CALLING - i have spent £35 today on call, no one picks up, they dont respond to emails or twitter-- AVOID this company
